I'm learning everything I need for my quail from you and have shared with a friend who is a new quail owner. Thank you for the wonderful and educational videos!
I had issues with the watering system too. I found if after I fill the tank, I squeeze the black hoses and air will push up into the tank. Squeeze until all the bubbles stop. I then tickle the nipples, farthest first, to the closest then Squeeze more air out. Worked great for me.
I just ordered yesterday a pack of 20 even though on Amazon, it does not mention the cups, however, like Terry said they will send all as a package, I just received mine today can’t wait to install them ))) 🎉
YIKES! It sounds like some roos need to go to freezer camp! lol I have two that are over the top vocal like that that are meeting the scissors this weekend.
I ordered the nipples from Terry’s link a couple of months ago. They are the type in this video. I nearly broke one trying to install the nipple before the cup. 🤦🏼♀️
The Amazon link only links to the nipples it seems, but no description or image to show if the drip cup is included? Any suggestions? I even tried the rentacoop site and same result.
I bought rare breed and feather sexable quail eggs from Meyer hatchery. They have completely scalped and caused such damage to the back of each other’s skulls. I’m so horrified and feel so badly for them. I currently have been separating them to one quail per area. I have tried to introduce one quail at a time and they immediately go to pecking and ripping. WHAT DO I DO? It’s not just one that’s doing it, I cannot get even two out of the eight no matter which ones I put in to stop hurting and trying to murder each other. I think I’m just done with quail at this point
Looking at Meyer Hatchery's website, I'm pretty sure the hatching eggs you received were drop shipped from another company. And looking at the descriptions I'm pretty sure I know which company is sending out the eggs. Unfortunately not all breeders take the time to cull aggression resulting in lines that are overly aggressive or mean. My suggestion is to cull those birds and start over with a line from a breeder that is known for breeding and culling for calm birds. If you would like to contact me via email or on one of our social media platforms, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
I have the those in my growout cages, but I find the young birds like to roost on them and they end up flooding the trays. I did make a wire cover above the cups to keep the birds from climbing on them.

I have a video on the channel about that issue, what causes it and how I fixed it. Search CC for "Water System Fix"
I like those cups. Today is hatch day for my quail, 6 so far, hoping for more!
Congrats!

I like the new cups. My 2 concerns would be freezing in winter time here up north, 2nd holding debris and getting nasty in them.
Also if you have some dripping first thing I do is grab a pair of needle nose and pull and twist the trigger and it usually solves it.
@@thelarochellefarm595 good idea Marc 😀

Yep, butchering this weekend.
I will be purchasing some.
Great idea! Thank you Terry! 🎉
Thanks for the update and link. Order placed.
Let me know how you like them
Any updates on how these worked for you, in the long run? Thanks
Neat idea! You're right, excess water in poop tray is no fun at all!
thanks Bob
Hello! Where did you buy this drinker nibble
Looks great, love your reviews!

Just ordered 12 of them to give it a try, if they work for me then another 150.
I'm sure you'll like them.
They are great, I got another 50 just a couple days ago.@@CoturnixCorner
Do the cup lips get dirty and need cleaning? Seems like they'd collect feed dust that drops off the beaks.
Not sure, I just started using them. But if the cup did become dirty you can take a paper towel and wipe out the cup.
How many quail populations do you have mister?

the cups are included, they need to update the listing with new photos.
I don't see it in Amazon ,can you send me the exact link in other to get it ,thanks .
the link above is correct.
Do ya know if they will send these if i order the ones on their page because thats shows the old one.
Yes, all nipples now come with the cups.
I am having trouble with the links as well. I would love to order some.
I reset the link, should work now.
Just wanted you to know, the Amazon link is not working at the moment
Just tried it, working fine here.
Is the dripple cup an add on or is it an all new molded part? It looks like an add on and I wonder if we can get it to add to my existing nipples.
I'm not sure if you can get them separately, but they are removable. I would contact RentaCoop and ask them
