As you mentioned, bones can be ground up and used as soil additives. Another good use is making knife and ax handles, making those tools slightly more durable.

I like creating a story within the world, my current challenge is creating a pirate ship and port along a ocean/large lake. Every time I have the itch for Vintage story, I start exploring and end up creating towns and finding new things I want to try and create.

I really love the smithing with a forge and anvil. Everythings alot of fun but so far that's my absolute favorite! I've only played single player so far so I allow myself to make everything no matter of class. Would love to have a group to play with, teaming up with friends to help eachother to survive and thrive sounds like alot of fun!

@@mineman144 It really does! And it would probably cut back a bit on gathering since everyone is helping. I cant wait until i get to that point of starting a multiplayer playthrough with peeps

@@VarusDraske hearing how you play with your family sounds amazingly fun. I'm currently trying to bring some of my friends to try the game and set up a small multiplayer game myself.
I really enjoy following along eith your playthrough and learning through your videos. Watching you play, learn and progress helps me out alot in my own world as well!

@@mineman144 Thats awesome! Im glad! And although it is fun to play with my family, the jokes and stuff are a bit... extreme. XD Nothing bad, but not necessarily what i want on my channel. A lot of jokes on the raunchier side? Haha. I hope your playthrough and game experience are going amazingly!

Personally, I enjoy the variety of resource-gathering and resource-processing tasks in the game; there's always something that needs doing. :)
Regarding your spiffy new pants, clothing only gives warmth, not protection (armor is a separate category of item). You can repair low-durability clothing with flax twine (less efficient) or linen squares (more efficient).
Note that you can break cobblestone with your bare hands to save pickaxe durability (but not some other building blocks like dry stone). Cobblestone is also cheap to craft (just stones and clay), so it's a popular early building block.
You can use clear quartz to make early-game windows (just clear quartz and sticks), so I would keep any you find, especially as bloomeries (needed for glass production) are going to get _much_ harder to make in the upcoming 1.20 update.

Oh wow! I didnt know it was that easy to fix clothing. And i also didnt know that about just using my hands, and being able to make simple glass windows... Ill have to test those out soon!

Oohhh... that explains it. I was curious why repair was so hard limited behind clothier trait, kept spawning myself sewing kits and deleting the ingredients.

At 10:04 in the middle of your map, while you're pointing at the ruins. There is a round spot with a light colored dot in the middle. Could that be a meteorite?
