The time has come! I bought a crash damaged Audi RS5 for my girlfriend Hannah and rebuilt it. Once i finished the rebuild we then begin to modify it to her taste, the RS5 then went on to become our daily driver which we have had for just over a year now and what a car it has been! But with recent arrives of other project cars the fleet is getting out of hand and Hannah has taken a liking to the Range Rover. This now means one of you will be taking the Audi RS5!

I don’t often comment on you tube videos, but after watching this felt compelled to do so. I think it’s amazing that you give back to your viewers and have also helped them where and when you can. I wish to see more TH-camrs following your lead in helping to raise funds or awareness for people in need. Well done sir
Mat, you really shouldn't have to justify it raffling the car, its a great way to engage with your audience and be part of the dream. Fair play to Hannah for setting up the company too, very impressive how much you youngsters have achieved.
Been dailying a 2014 RS5 for a year and a half now and it’s amazing. It’s stupid reliable and turns heads everywhere I go. It’s also quite rare here in the US. Anyone who owns one knows exactly what I’m talking about 🤙. I’m glad you made a lot of content with it because it’s not one that popular TH-camrs bother with.
Do they not have timing chain issues or is that when someone really neglects the maintenance?

RS5's expensive and yes it is mad reliable IF you drive exactly how germans engineer it to be driven.

I've got an RS4, ever time I hear the V8 I can't help but smile.
I love V8's but sadly the beautiful engines can't be heard nowadays due to the ridiculous exhausts.
@@GenaF I've kept the standard exhaust on. It's sounds really good so no need to change things.

It's like my Mini Cooper S, it has a lovely deep burble, especially on a cold start and yet so many owners have replaced a perfectly good exhaust with a louder one. It's hardly to increase power as my car has more than enough oomph for British roads. I assume they have the shouty exhausts so as to turn heads but I'd hate people looking at my car for that reason. I have had quite a few people approach me in car parks to say they love my car. It's a black cooper S with Cadbury purple accents. The colours look brilliant together.

Love what you do. You're an inspiration even to an old dog like me. I have always really loved cars as proved by owning over 65 and more in my time and always tried to fix/ repair myself, not always successfully 😄,so I can appreciate what you do. Keep doing what you do. ✌🏾

Hey Matt, i watch your videos all the time, I have just reviewed Gary Williams comment below and felt compelled that I should do the same as he did and compliment you on your work, motto and ethics. Your videos give me something to do and engage in when I am not working. Despite the competition of TH-cam I thoroughly enjoy watching Dean at Saving Salvage and yourself (they fall hand in hand).
Between both your videos, the end product of hard work and a theme of not giving up is visible, and for that I must admire you both. I know you both do a lot for others, but can I ask that you put emphasis the "not giving up" factor of your work, this is so true for work ethic but also for mental health and daily lives.

I found your videos from your meeting with Richard Hammond a month or so ago, now I’ve worked my way through nearly all of them when night feeding and looking after my new born son. Golf R is my fav playlist and I’ve never had the opportunity to enter a competition until now on this RS5. I have to say that this channel came up through a recommendation on Friday and I’m glad I clicked on it and watched…where you bought the Aston Martin. I’ve been binge watching your videos all weekend. You sir should be so proud of your achievements and what you have accomplished in the few years you have had the channel. When you bought the Lambo i was worried the "normal" cars (i know, that Lambo isn't that expensive) would fall out from your channel. You answered me and told me that you will have a mix of content.
