- Hey everyone, we finally did it, we got our new fulltime overland rig! It took a lot of searching, but we finally did it! And were happy to say its a 2015 Toyota 4runner trail edition, or as they're known now as TRD off roads. This is the rig we'll be exploring the entire U.S in for as long as we possible can. Thanks for watching, it does look good on top of the 4runner! All though we are trying to sell it to go to a interior sleep platform. Not because we don't like the tent, but for what we plan to do in the future, interior bed is going to work better for us.

Keep your current channel name.... and a nice rig... I have a 2008 Lexus GX 470... similar rig with luxury
Thank you! And That's the plan, uprooted adventures won out in a vote so we're keeping the name. And nice we were looking at lexus gx 460s and gx 470s, but the seemed to be more rare then the 4runner to find. And the 4 runners come a little more equip clearance wise for off road. So it's what we ended up with. But would be happy with either. Wife still wants a lexus of her own some day haha.
I have mine lifted with a 3 inch icon suspension, 285-70-17, frontrunner slimline rack, and more to come... there is a cult following... we just had a meet up in Dallas last week, 85 Lexus GX and 30 other Toyota’s for a great day... sad to say that Southern California broke that record with over a hundred GXs at a show... but both gatherings brought like minded people together for a good time and all brought toys for under privileged children... look up GXOR pages on TH-cam and Facebook...
@@cootie181 Sounds like a pretty sweet rig you got there, but yeah I noticed they definitely started getting a following, people are snagging them up like the 4runners. Or Even more so then the 4runners. Who wouldn't want a luxury 4runner haha. And that's awesome what you all did, sounds like a good community of people I'll definitely look it up and check it out.
