- Hey everyone! In this video I go over some of the budget gear I decided to buy and use for our overlanding adventure. I figured this may help some of you if you don't have the time to research everything yourself. I always do tons of research and read all the reviews on something before I buy it. And I've had the opportunity to try each one of these pieces of equipment out in the real world, and they work just like they're suppose to. And I find them to be great budget friendly alternatives to the name brand products out there. Feel free to check all the products I talk about in this video listed below. We are Amazon affiliates now, so if you purchase something through one of these links it helps out our channel thank you!

Loved the video mate. Always interesting to see other peoples set up and gear. Subbed and liked. Cheers, Grant (Australia).
Hey grant, thanks and thanks for the sub, we subbed back. I'll have to stop in and check out some of your videos, and see how it is overlanding over there In Australia. - David

Greeting friends
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Hey thanks, and thanks for watching!
Nice gear choices! You can find really good gear at quality prices. Keeping you and Kaitlyns family in our prayers. Stay safe and safe travels!
Thanks guy's, things are looking a bit better for them, but still a long road of recovery for them. But looking like local travel videos for a bit. Till we can head out again. Thanks again stay safe yourself!
Useful information
Thank you!
Nice video and definitely informative for those just getting in to over landing.
Thanks Darryl!
@@UprootedAdventures any time! Though I must add that I have learned the “buy once cry once” mind set for heavy use items or items your safety may depend on.
@@DtotheMFinJ Yeah I agree there, there are something you can't go cheap on.
@@UprootedAdventures like the compressor, would save for an ARB or gone the ViAir route. See too many of the Smitty Built products quit after a few months of work and they’re not made in the US.
@@DtotheMFinJ I didn't like the reviews on the via air. This smitty built had much better reviews then any via air and better performance. But you are right not built in America, but they are a american company. Got it mixed up. But for me as much as I air down and air up. The price of ARB compressor just isn't going to be worth it. But time will tell how long it last.
Saw you today in town, thought I would swing by and say Hi neighbor! You're living life right!
Hey thanks for subscribing! Yeah we are from show low, but plan to branch out and get some states under our belt here before long. But Thanks for joining along on your journey!
@@UprootedAdventures I hear that! My wife works full time remotely. If I can find a remote gig we are going to branch out and do the same with our trailer. Prefect time to get out and explore this beautiful country.
@@kbcoggin Oh nice we had a truck camper before this. But just wanted to be able to explore back further, plus some other things going on made those a better route for us. This isn't as comfortable but more fun haha. But if you're able to do it I definitely recommend going. There's never a better time then now.
@@UprootedAdventures I went back and watched some of your older videos. We have two young kids so I don't think we could do full time; but I have to say I'm jealous! Can't wait to see your adventures to come. Be safe out there and keep it up!
@@kbcoggin Well get as much adventuring in as you can, in between then, I'll bring you as much adventures as I can. Appreciate the support. Thanks for watching. Stay safe as well!
🔥
Wow nice gear buddy, awesome share, new friends here and sending you my full support Buddy, I hope to see you around too
Hey thank you, and thanks for watching. And you never know, it's a small world!
👍
Be safe
Thank you! We will.
This is the first time hearing that word 'Overland'. So basically it's traveling to locations you can't get to by normal means? Interesting. I'm guessing to be an overlander you need a four wheel drive car. Some of your gear are really not budget...lol. Interesting info though
Yeah thats why mentioned before talking about it, that's this item is not budget but worth it haha. And yeah I didn't come up with the term overland. Where I'm from we call it off-roading haha. But it's just the popular term used in the TH-cam land so, might as well use it too.
@@UprootedAdventures Yes, I've heard of off roading. That's what I would call it. I knew a guy who went off roading with his family at least once a month.
@@Pixics Yeah I guess you can say it's off roading mixed with camping. Equals overlanding haha. All I know is it's lots of fun. But thanks for watching and checking out our channel!
