Change ownership of the tiles that have Temple of Artemis effect with the neighboring cities to distribute amenities.
Golden Age dedication - Monumentality - allows to use faith to buy Settlers and Builders, and other civilian units. But it is not obvious that you can buy Archeologists, Spies and Trader units as well.
Gilgamesh, the leader of Sumerian Civ is the only one who you can declare friendship with as soon as you meet him. And he will stay your friend for the rest of the game, earning his “the real bro of Civ 6” status.
By default the competitors’ scores are hidden. But it is very easy to turn it on. Just go to Options, then Interface and select the option to either always display or display on hover under Show Yields in HUD Ribbon.

Earn 4 envoys with the new city-state you met first with Amani and Diplomatic league policy. Send Amani to establish 2 envoys, then use Diplomatic League policy to send another envoy that will count as 2 resulting in the tidal of 4 envoys earned.
City-state borders and city strength depends on the number of envoys sent there from all major Civs. You can help city states’ borders grow to those valuable resources faster by sending them envoys over the max number.
You can improve the luxury and strategic resources of a city-state and get immediate access to them. It is important to note that you have to be a suzerain to do it.
Aqueducts can also provide +1 amenity if placed next to a geothermal fissure.
You can still save a valuable flooded tile before it is submerged by rushing the Flood Barrier. Once the barrier is built, it becomes possible to repair improvements, buildings or districts.
Combine units with different promotion trees into one mega Corps or Army OR combine a promoted experienced unit with a newly built unpromoted unit into one promoted Corps or Army
Use naval raider units (like a privateer) to unlock coastal tribal villages, destroy barb camps, and capture civilian units
Aztecs eagle warriors, England’s seadogs and Mongolia’s cavalry units have a higher chance of capturing units with lower combat strength that displays on the unit combat screen.
As Spain get an extra builder with Ancestral Hall when settling a new city on a new continent due to civ’s trait
Tech tree description errors.
In order to get a boost to Siege Tactics you have to build 2 trebuchets, not bombards
And the second error is the boost to the Replacement Parts, build 3 line infantry units instead of musketmen

The being able to make improvements on your City-State's territory is also very useful in setting up a gold/faith farm.
1. Get suz status.
2. Build up everything that can take a mine/lumber mill/pasture/quarry, etc., make sure all tiles are improved in some way.
3. Declare war.
4. Pillage the f- out of them.
5. Leave a couple of workers with 1 charge in their territory for them to capture whenever they pop out a unit again.
6. Declare peace.
7. Wait for your captured workers to repair the things you pillaged.
Rinse and repeat.
It's also useful to send a settler to the edge of another player's area where they'll lose loyalty in about 5 turns. Send them with workers enough to build up the pillage-worthy stuff, leave them with 1 charge to do repairs. Wait for it to turn, kill 'em, pillage, recap, repair, wait for it to turn, rinse and repeat. If you have a good spot for this you can get 4-8 pillages every 10ish turns pretty easily.

Ha, I have not heard of city-state milking before. But doesnt your relationship gets damaged to the level where you lose the ability to suz, if you consistently at war with city states?

this is a broken strategy with Australia, who gets +100% production when starting a war

@@ComradeKaine Just the city state you're farming. When you declare you lose all your envoys, but you only take greivance hits if you declare on a city state that another civ is suz of.
So when you declare and lose your envoys someone else becomes Suz, but because they became Suz after you declared you don't take a grievance hit. You then only really take a greivance hit if you capture the city, but you don't want to capture it. You want to literally improve every improvable tile and leave like 3+ builders with 1 charge (every improvable tile so they don't use a charge on their builders and poof them)

Interesting, most were thing I knew already, but some were quite useful. Buying spies with faith I had never noticed before, and the tech tree errors were brilliant help - I always thought it was odd that the eureka was on the same tech-level, but I just didn't bother with that one.
For the strategic before districts it could've been an idea to mention that some only can appear in certain tiles - like 'Iron' need a hill without forest, so you can guess where it's likely to appear.

You can also get 2 builder with the Maya if you settle within 6 tile of your capital (and ancestral hall).
