It's hilarious seeing Ursa talk about Venetian Arsenal and setting up canal paths through his land in a game where he can't build any boats. 😂 I love it.
When it comes to Primordial Maps I usually always turn on Apocalypse mode as well, got to keep the game interesting at all times! Oh! And don't forget about the Crisps.
I've always liked the nubian pyramid. It's a fun sim piece and the thing about it not giving you enough yields I'd argue that the pyramid actually has a hidden production yield in the form of the boost it gives and then when the district is done it gets the adjacency bonus and they are spammable. Maybe not the best thing in the world, but very nice in my opinion.
If you only build archers in this game, if you want to add other units to your army, you can always get them by "recruiting" the barbarians with your apostles. Would love to see it.
I would have settled BarbWatchAlpha on the Iron, and CanalCity on the Olives. Leaves space for pyramids and stuff. . . But I'm not Ursa, and Ursa is S-Tier, and so I keep watching, taking notes, and cheering his victories.

I remember my very first game of CIV 6 as Egypt. I was wondering why I couldn't occupy and take the city with Chariot archers. Ranged units cannot take over cities so you need some sort of melee unit if you plan on taking out a city state or one of your neighbor's cities. I like the theme of the first holy site next to a volcano and a fire god based religion. One way to balance India would be to choose an Agni based belief and when you complete Manhattan project, you get AGNI ICBM and a free civil engineer :)
Picking up the tribal village with your settler was actually a huge misplay because you could have moved on the cows and settled that same turn since it’s flat land, and grabbing a tribal village in your borders claims it immediately.
Unnecessary pandering, honestly. The Nubian pyramids are perfectly powerful enough already, and a mod that lets you put them anywhere unbalances them in a pointless way.
FYI, (around 19 minutes or so) Amani would have activated after you got the dark age. Unlike scored competitions where you can pick up points with 0 turn left on the timer, as soon as the era score timer hits 0 you can't earn any more towards the current age. Now idea why it's coded differently for one versus the other.
My problem with the whole +1 production towards mines over strategic resources (and +2 cold for other mines over resources), is that until turn a 100 or so, its only iron. If you have 3 sources of iron, that's +3 production in your entire empire. If you have only 6 cities, then urban planning is twice as good. A policy card that's available from te start. The bonuses are to minor in my opinion. Plus, you get extra production towards districts but not enough bonusses to food allowing you to build many districts. So even with the mod its kinda lacking. Love the creative gameplay tho
Oh, how I wish I could play these games, but I only have civ for the switch. And it's the most crashiest ass game ever on it, too 😒. So thanks for scratching my civ itch!

No - it needs to be culture that is directly put onto the tile, or have another effect that's mentioned in the description of the unique improvement. Either way, you shouldn't be winning tourism based on many of the unique imporvements - focus on the biosphere, sea resorts and national parks
Settling on a plains hill tile gives the capital tile 2 food and 2 production due to the way the game calculates tile yield - grassland hills only gives you 2 food 1 production

As a lot of commenters have already noted your desire to build Venetian Arsenal is pointless with these game constraints. I guess some habits are hard to break.
@@UrsaRyan @jyutzler Actually, that was EXACTLY the answer I was about to write for jyutzler. They aren't the worst in terms of raw power. But to me they feel "the worst" because their whole intended gameplay concept is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. You end up, in 99% of games, playing them like "a no bonus civ that has a better archer". And that's not interesting to play at all. Put that on top on the fact they're not very strong, and they feel like the worst civ to me. Even if I have to recognize that it is subjective, and not based on raw stats.
These challenges are a bit annoying to watch IMO, only your unique archers? No upgrades even? No slingers? You won't survive any attacker that brings crossbows and such. Your city defense will be terrible... :( :( I am literally crying rn

Tribal Huts provide Era Score only in the Ancient Era. No point for Diplomatic League card, when you are not exploring for new City States.
That diplomatic league card was really not a well thought move. Shame.
