I own both the Glock and the VP9sk. The VP9sk with a 15 round mag is my choice. The VP9sk is the most comfortable shooting gun. It feels great in the hand.
Thank you, this was just what I needed. FYI, you can use your vise as a mini-press, or if you have access to an arbor press. just make sure you have perfect alignment
Yes, mine are interchangeable. Now that may change over time and would for sure change if one has a paddle release and the other has a standard American style button release.
I own the sk and the 19. I haven't shot my 19 yet but I've shot several, many 17s and a few 26s and other Glocks. Have owned the 17 and 43 in addition to the 19, and have owned the USPc in 9 in addition to the sk for H&K. I'm always going to fall on the H&K side of things when it comes to a straight up comparison. Out of the box, its slide release is much easier to work, the slide automatically loads a round when a magazine is forced up (a feature, not a bug, but you need to be aware of that), and the overall reliability of the brand is higher. It may not be a lot higher, but it is higher. That doesn't mean the Glock sucks -- it doesn't -- but it has some weird shortcomings, such as a pathetic slide release and the inherently unsafe means to field strip the weapon. One should NEVER have to pull the trigger other on a loaded weapon aimed downrange. I know others are in to dry firing for practice but I'm not, so if you disagree with this, fine. So...why do I own the 19? Simple -- its still a good handgun. It was cheaper than the H&K, came with 3 mags that I can use in some pistol caliber carbines, and makes good backup handgun for my bugout/go bag I keep in my closet. The other thing the sk has over the Glock is that it comes with interchangeable grips. I just wish it were a little lighter.
Tom Rusch agreed. The VP9 just recently increased its capacity from 15 to 17 rounds so I’m hoping they will increase the SK magazine to 12 rounds or more
Thanks for the comparison this is what I was looking for exactly. Great info straight to the point.

VP9's (2020) and optics ready models are now 17 round mags standard.
They're all fantastic options and extremely reliable. My pick would be the VP9sk. Be safe.
Excellent video

...I owned both hk vp9 and glock 19 gen 5, they are both great gun, but if i only choose one i choose the glock 19 gen 5
Great comparison
Thanks!
Are you in the desert? Hearing you drink constantly was odd
How about an overhead look to see the width?
Great video. Do you think a VP9SK will fit in a kydex holster made for the full size VP9 (trigger guard, etc.)?

@@FriedChickenBlowout thx for the reply.

I think I’ll still get a glock 19.
Raftika I would actually suggest just that for most people.
the SK is an easy 12+1 gun..
