- I bought my first true HK firearm. The VP9 with Holosun optic was my choice between the VP9 Tactical and the VP9L. I took it to the range to see how it functioned and felt in my hands.

Love my VP9
I’m really liking mine right now. It’s really light for its size.
The problem I have with buttons on the side of pistols that is moving around. Sometimes a magazine gets ejected by accident. So for me, it was either Walther or HK.
I’ve had that happen with my Glock and my Shield. Ended up having to replace the mag release button with a different style that wouldn’t press in so easily.
HK parts is my go to site for HK items as no one locally carry it , I have a VP9 SCS green from primary arms after their anniversary sale October 1st weekend for $160 off nominal
I ended up going to HK parts and the Hk web store for most of my parts.
My VP9sk is one of the best in my edc rotation
I just got mines from Cabela’s few days ago for $499 with 3 17rds mags plus 4 20rds mags. Best handgun I’ve ever owned. I’m thinking about getting one in bronze color with night sight.

Since it was from the factory with the Red Dot installed did you notice any gap between the Red Dot an Slide?
Late response but no I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary with the gap.
Just picked up the 2020 HK VP9, can I add the holosun or any other red dot to it? There’s no mounting holes
That depends on if you got the one that is optic ready. It’ll have a plate covering the holes. You’ll be able to see the outline of the plate. If not then, no.

Can’t decide between vp9 and p30. The p30 feels better but the vp9 has optic and the wings in back that I like.
Ltt p30 is the way to go

PMM comp? im trying right now to find a barrel for comp tracker also but cant find any silencer co's in stock
Parker Mountain Machine. I’ve seen a few of the Silencer Co barrels when I searched m. And the HK one I’ve seen on gunbroker but the reviews from the dealer are low with many parts never being received so I’m wary of ordering from them.
I caved and ordered the HK barrel. Local shop has the Silencerco for 200 but I have already ordered the comp in the other thread pitch.

Mine was 639:00 eight years ago. It was also with three ,ten round clips.
That’s not too bad. I liked the upgraded optics cut and low co witnessing optic that came with it. Great little gun.

Vp9 tactical or co witness sights don't look very tall to me. Wanna see some ridiculous co witness sights? Try to cowitness a leupold dpp on the glock mos system.
I have a Leupold on my M&P9L. It has suppressor height sights and still can’t reach above the DeltaPoints base.

I just got offered a PDP used in like new condition for a low price. I might just get it.
Get the HK compensator from the HK store. It’s actually a real nice compensator has just a hole for the bullet to travel through and then it has the slots in the top that are cut out like a real compensator instead of the one like they made that is a giant you on the top of the gun, it looks absolutely ugly. I have it for my H&K P30 it’s makes it look nasty
