Today I finally break in Katana’s engine! I got my pressure release setup (valve cover spacer/catch can) from #ombwarehouse and finally got her running. Hit a few high a** rpm revs at the end that shook the Earth lol 🙌🏼 Thank you all for watching and thank you even more for your support!

Hello, I'm curious, what is the purpose of running a hose between the valve cover and the top crankcase breather?

It's vents the crank case and frees up power

He vents the crankcase to the head which has another vent going to an oil catch can.

@@IRWIZ4RD OK, but the crank case and the valve cover are really the same cavity (the crank case). so the line between the 2 does nothing. IF there were 2 separate hoses going to the catch can, then venting would be increased. But I know, it doesnt really matter, because the point of this build is just about adding bling, doodads, and trinkets.

Go on go power sports and where it says stage 4 for tiltson or Hemi look for the non hemi one if that makes sense lmk if you need more help

It’s catches any blow by oil before it damages your fuel pump/carburettor

I keep hearing the term "break-in" question is how do you know when past this point?? is there a sound or a certain feel of vibration or something?? Does the engine start to talk after it clears its throat to say Im broken in?..somebody help a brother out..If not take care and Peace as always

Yeah you'll hear a lot of break in methods. What it usually refers to is the seating of the piston rings which happens quickly. In my opinion there's no need for an elaborate break in on these engines. I put mine on the bike and gently ride for a minute or so to warm it up then give it hell. Break in is then complete. After about 10-15 minutes of run time the oil gets changed.

I was told not use a guide plate for push rods

You need them with the stock rockers. Here he's using Champion rockers which do not need the guide plate. Very good choice for around $25.
