Dude are you even freakin serious????? I know I’m late to the party but this is as close to STEP BY STEP instructions as you could ever get!!! Great work! When it’s time to do my 212 I’ll be coming here and ordering through your links and following your video. Thank you so much for this!
absolutely wonderful video, from someone who can do this blind folded or someone who has never seen the inside of an engine with your videos they should feel like a pro
I'm 67 years old and I used to rebuild automatic transmissions for a living and I have to say at 4 minutes and 29 seconds in your video I like your organizational skills, most people in my trade did not have that and their bench looked like a pile of crap all the time. I used to start with an empty bench and when I was done I had an empty bench not **** laying all over the place, and I would lay everything out nice and neat in the order it came out and it made it so much easier
I am new into mechanics. And small engines is my starting place. Thank you for the link in the description. I am going to make this my first project go kart.

Started watching your channel. Subscribed after one video I think this one, and now there is a predator 212 (hemi) in my living room with the stage one kit.
I always enjoy your videos I never knew the small engine world was so big and I've learned a lot from watching you and others building them keep it up in can't wait to see this running.
Just recently have gotten into minibikes and go karts. Going to be enhancing some motors soon. Thank you so much for the awesome videos and tutorials. Go Red!
Kool video, your getting really good at this now!! Was considering a pit bike project to test my skills, but these small engines are starting to look appealing. Thank you an keep up the great work!
I like that lamp in the background. You’ll shoot your eye out. My favorite Christmas movie. I just did a 212 non hemi build. I did your governor removal like this vid shows along with a flat top piston, aluminum flywheel, mod 2 cam, 22mm carb, 22pd springs and a header pipe. I’m not going to be pushing this engine really hard so I hope the rod will hold up. I have a billet rod and flywheel and a 265 cam 24mm carb I’m putting in another engine I just got from harbor freight along with other stuff I have to order. Your videos really help alot.
@Jesse 4R it is his channel and he can do as he pleases with it. Just my opinion, it distracts from the video. But like I said it is his channel and he can put the music as loud as he pleases.
Greg that was brilliant mate, the time you and becca must have spent on filming that , stop starting for angles to shoot the best shots from to the Voice over and explanation of everything then the Hours spent in Editing it to a finished video. A Huge thankyou for all that work I think that you have a excellent tutorial for a lot of people to refer to ( IF you could even buy a Predator engine in Australia it would be handy Lol) In watching that I thought of something you are lacking and might want to incorporate into your tools How about building a Multi Mount Engine stand at the right height (AND weight to stand the vibrations) for you to work on it . This would be, when you finish an engine, you can mount it to the stand for the run in period instead of waiting for a suitable frame or Kart to put it in it would make it easier to fine tune the engine on the stand, adjust anything and also do the first oil change after the run in period etc You then have a completely finished engine on the shelf or ready to be used immediately you have, what ever it is you are putting it in. Saves the back in bending over, and standing on the engine, while you are trying it out just after the build ! Grin who mate maybe a saleable Item for other Engine builders out their ? Gday Tony, I Googled the Predictor eng. and u can get them in Australia but the same eng. that costs around $200 costs around $700 here!!! Might be cheaper to have one Shipped over.!? I've never used them in my shop, but I know a few companies make taps for use in the field that are specifically designed to be driven by impact guns...to be fair I've only seen them in the 1"-8TPI range.
Damn I love these videos. There's something so satisfying about watching you guys build these little engines.. This one is damn good looking too. It's almost a crime to hide that rod and flywheel inside of this motor though!!!!
Okay ..I must say this was a very nice and educational video!! I just dont know why after a beautiful build you would not turn that puppy on for us to hear how beautiful the work was.... I dont know after all that time spent watching at the end I was stumped.
I bought a Honda VTX 1800cc engine , carb and wiring harness with 4,000 miles for 560 bucks . I put it in my little 2 seater buggy. Best thing is it's a driveshaft motor . I used a dana 44 shortened rear end and driveshaft from a jeep wj . Cost was 100 bucks . Then had a driveshft guy fit one end to accept the honda yoke .
@@RedBeardsGarage Yes. You are correct. I don't like most of the music you choose to use, honestly. And I don't watch all your videos. If the subject matter looks interesting, I will watch. But I can only stand so much of the "beats" before I have to dip.
