This really is the actual final episode of the Audi TT... Honestly it really is this time!
A very kind gentleman sent me a message when i had given up with this car and put it up for sale and he told me about the shim you can put in the side of the Quattro gearbox's to remove the end float inside the gearbox and stop them whining.
Well I did that and it worked!! so i then gave it a thorough clean and detail making this thing a real head turner!

Well done Jason, you have the patience of a Saint. I just watched (and liked) all of your TT episodes. Wow, that car would have broken most people. I've had a 225 for 4 years now and definitely a love/hate thing of beauty. Well done.
Thanks for the kind words! It did brake me in the end to be honest and although the car was together and running well it still had a couple niggles left when I sold it but I just couldn’t go any further I lost £2000 just in how much I had to put in the car to get it running!

whats your tranamission code mine is FZL? did your circlip @2:20 have a grove to sit into?
Not sure what the code of the box was. Yea it had a grove where it sat in place
