Personalize Your System & Workflow With BetterTouchTool

In this video I give you an introduction to one of my favorite Mac apps: Bettertouchtool. This app can do SO MUCH that it can get overwhelming, so in this video I share with you both an overview of the app, as well as some of my favorite gestures I have setup with my magic mouse. If you are into automation, gestures, shortcuts, or just saving time with doing simple tasks around your Mac then you need to get BetterTouchTool. Once you start to explore this app your system will never be the same :)

Sure! Basically it's a function you assign to a gesture or shortcut, but it's totally up to the user. In my case I don't have it assigned to anything.

Does this work with non Mac devices? I have a Kensington trackball.

The app does have one area to assign functions to "Generic Devices" but I haven't tested with any myself. I suggest you check out the trial.

hello sir , how can i setup pinch in pinch out for zoom in zoom out with magic mouse ? i tired with cmd- cmd+ There will be problems in microsoft excel .

Hi! I have nothing setup for the pinch in/out function on BetterTouchTool. It's one of those functions I found a bit buggy or clumsy, doesn't work well for my use. That being said I know you can adjust the sensitivity on settings and for specific questions on how to use gestures on applications or similar you can try their official forum (there's lots of help there): community.folivora.ai/c/discussion/7
