Sorry this one is a little late. Lori and I have a quick turnaround before we fly out to TX with RAM. I appreciate you guys being so supportive!
Don’t forget to stop at Bucees & Truth BBQ🤩

To those complaining about the rear taillight design...It was done to maximize cargo opening and goes with the boxy theme. It was either that or place them column wise against the D-pillar. The Palisade already does that, and placing them higher up would be too derivative (Volvo, CR-V, Escalade)

I can't really complain about the rear end of this car, but I gotta say, when the last of the Cadillac hearses go kaput, where are the funeral homes supposed to go?
@@blairbrown4812 cadillac obviously
You can justify anything 10 different ways, the things is, looks are always going to be subjective and you cant change someone’s opinion about that just because it has xyz to compensate
Reclamo mesmo. É horroroso!
I seen one rollin down my street today, its very nice and looks luxury. In person the tail lights dont look bad at all, fits the styling well. Hyundai is on the rise , they're here to take names
Saw one also in person. Looks 🔥
Man this new Sante Fe has come a long way since the original Sante Fe and honestly the older Sante Fe ran pretty good as long as you took care of that timing belt and water pump
Continuing coverage of the Chicago Auto Show and no one better than Raiti's Rides to bring the excitement thank you and Lori for the awesomeness!
Thanks for having our backs Bryan! You are the best!
I am waiting for so long to see your review on a Santa Fe. Im glad you did finally
That gray storage compartment above the glove compartment is also a UV sanitizer 9:21
No way!

Beautiful design looks great. Thanks to the both of you for all your hard work keep it up.
Yes!! I'll be going to the show this week. Your video is how I realized the show is on. ❤❤
We just purchased our 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited in white with Black interior. We love it!!!!
Did the dealer charged you Premium? Or were you able to buy MSRP? I want a 2024 Santa Fe as my new car but I'm afraid of greedy dealers
@@hagnerplaylists no dealer markups. We paid MSRP without getting screwed over. I was happy with the deal we got
So how much was MSRP??? Joe said official pricing not yet released
@@sofa_kingcool985you can check pricing yourself on the Hyundai USA website, where you can spec out your own model and trim package.
Nice interior
Thank you for the hard work you two!🎉
A smart looker there. Can’t wait to it touches down in NZ.
Only gripe is the back end looks unresolved, the front view is brilliant.
That colour is a stand out for this model.
Great viewing Joe, thanks for your work.
I predict huge sales for this redesign.
I hope so
I reckon it will be a hard sell in Australia. Not the design so much, but no diesel which was about 70 % of the 2023 model ....
Nope. Hyundai will fail if they don’t get their own identity soon. Genesis is already getting ready to go under, either that or they’ll turn that into a EV brand to keep it around because nobody is lining up to buy their gasoline models.
I assume the headlights were designed from the team of Canoo since Hyundai has an investment.
@@conradscheepersthey always make different models for different markets, maybe they'll make a Diesel for the rest of the world. NA only gets petro and hybrids across the whole market, Diesels are usually reserved for body-on-frame trucks here.
Apologies for walking through your shot at 16:32 . Seeing you do your work was amazing and in inspiration! You guys are a machine!
Loooovin It! Def needs dual exhaust AND a 6cyl engine! Cant wait to see Santa Fe Calligraphy!
I remember the Hyundai Pony. Wow, times have changed. Super nice suv.
Awesome review. We bought one on Thursday! Love it.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
It’s nice. I like it. It has a lot of similarities to the Land Rover for sure
I don’t love the backend ayooooo… But it doesn’t affect my overall attraction to this redesign. Well done. 👏
It sure is a long way from my 22 Calligraphy. The biggest problem for me is, I would never want a third row. My current ride fits me perfectly.
In Australia the 2023 has got a 3 rd row. It is folded down and you don't even know it is there. We have only used our 3rd row on a few occations.
@conradscheepers The problem is you lose the amazing storage area under the cargo floor with the third row. I'd rather have the storage area and I am really struggling with that loss.
The only thing holding me back from a Santa Fe is not seeing you reviewing it on the street. Your reviews are always the best!!!!
I loved the rear. Clean and stoic. This is a man's car. No friss
Unpopular opinion, but so true. I've felt the previous design feels a bit feminine
The front and sides are masculine. The back would be too if there was a hard cover spare on it like the Defender, but this definitely looks like a hearse for fat corpses from the year 2064…
Amazing review Joe.
What is your choice between this pallisade/telluride sorrento and new traverse?
So much piano black. WOW. I remember years ago when it was starting to show up on the inside of cars. Now automakers are using it in huge amounts on the outside. I wonder how that will hold up, especially around the tire and the front grill.
I think its an attractive Santa Fe Design. It will do well, especially with folks who need the third row and/or storage space.
I have a 23 Calligraphy and am totally happy. ((No Piano Black, lol))
Lori, amazing job as always. I appreciate you both bringing us information and entertainment all wrapped up.
Continue success.
🙏
It really is out of control on this one.
The Santa Fee looks bigger than it is in pictures, because of the boxy styling
It is 5 inches smaller than a standard Highlander & about a foot smaller than the Grand Highlander
Yea it's so much smaller than the Palisade/Telluride still
Didn’t think we’d ever consider another Hyundai after having so many issues with our first, the 2016 Tucson Limited with the turbo DCT. We had so many problems that we traded it in for a Honda and it turned out it was in a class action where we were able to recoup some of our money. This new Santa Fe re-design really has our interest, especially in an upper trim level Hybrid. Love the boxy practical shape as I’m tall and the “H” design is great as our last name starts with an “H”. In the market for a travel vehicle and this is hitting a lot of check marks, just hope the engine issues are resolved!
@@Countcho Japanese cars are reliable only because they lied to the customer with the specs.
Turbos have come a long way since 2016. 2016 was a little early in this space. I’d feel more confident now
I feel you. I am currently leasing a 2021 Sante Fe and have had major issues, just had to have a new transmission put in and working with the dealer has been a nightmare. I got it back and now the alignment is off. This was my first and probably only Hyundai purchase unfortunately. I absolutely love the car and was considering buying it out or trading it in for this new generation. I am very disappointed that I will not be able to do that now. Loving this new styling inside and out.
@@tarakelly8573 Sorry to hear that and it is extremely frustrating! Your experience now makes us even more hesitant and it’s a shame as we feel the same about this new Santa Fe. At least our dealership was very willing to do what they could to help, we’ve heard of bad experiences with Hyundai and Kia dealerships. We’ve had a bad experience with a Honda dealership though so it’s not just Hyundai and Kia. Best of luck to you and thanks for sharing your experience!
@@Soflabbergasting thank you, you as well!
Fresh new look. Best looking Santa Fe yet. Interior is in keeping with the exterior. My 8 year old caught your "ballsy" humor. 😉
Front to back it looks good! Kinda into the rear design, myself. Even if right at the end it reminded me of those old '97 Toyota Previa rear hatches.
I spot someone familiar 14:13 😂! great review! my two favorites Rati and TFL.
Love this redesign!
I love the pixel look on this. Wow. ❤
I read that there won't be the massage function on the driver seat on the US model (Calligraphy trim). Can that be confirmed?
The plug in the rear compartment is where you access the spare tire carrier screw, if equipped.
We recently test drove this vehicle and I love it. My only hang up is going to this size vehicle from a Yukon XL scares me. I love my big SUV.
But how reliable is it? I mean a 4 cylinder turbo for that big of an SUV just means that the engine has to work twice as hard than a V6 engine.
You mean like the Germans, Japanese and Americans already do? Audi Q7, Chevy Traverse, VW Atlas, Toyota GH. 85 to 90 percent of the time, the vehicle is driven by a single occupant. How often are they fully loaded with occupants and cargo to necessitate a 6 cylinder?
You've just woke up dude?
Totally agree, all these 4 bangers turbo in a big rig is a joke.
Thanks for all your videos mate
Hey Joe! Loving the videos! What camera do y'all use to film these videos? Love the quality!
Love it thanks guys
14:16 Noticed the chauffeur buttons on the front passenger seat, however im not seeing them show up in other videos or models? I don’t see it on the Hyundai site? Anyone else notice this as well?
I love the 3rd row seating and it reminds me somewhat of a Nissan Xterra that I owned back in the day, which I miss. I was hoping that the price would be more in the 40k for the top tier models... This would look good in my driveway. Thanks for another great video!
I love it. Can’t wait to get mine!
Amazing they hit a home run with this one!
Is there a massage feature on the front seats?
Joe, I'm okay with the gloss black trim both on the upper wheel wells and with the trim along the bottom of the doors. I, too, would prefer the upper wheel wells to be the white body color, but, hey... the example you had with this review looks just fine.
Only thing I'm stuck on is the sunroof. Love the Santa Fe but for 2 people it might be too big. What's your thoughts on hybrid vs just gas?
Yeah! The steering wheel looks familiar... It is paying homage to the old Hyundai Grandeur, which is where Hyundai got its current lineup design from. The Grandeur had this steering wheel design before Land Rover
Hello and greetings from Canada.
I have a question regarding the new boxy Santa Fe.
I understand that for the Canadian and US markets, this car will be assembled in the Alabama plant that Hyundai has.
But for this North American version, will the rear turn signal indicators be orange or red?? In US/Canada, orange is not mandatory, but I think it should be used for safety reasons.
Will this be a difference between Santa Fe models assembled in Korea as opposed to Alabama??
Thank you.
Interior looks good, exterior front also looks good but I don’t like the rear. It’s killing me! Thanks Joe & Lori for the amazing content!
Doesn't this now compete with the palisade? I don't understand why they went back to the 3rd row santa fe.
Palisade is getting a redesign soon. Expect it to be larger.
Palisade will compete with the Toyota Grand highlander. They will make it bigger
They’re trying to compete with General Motors. The 2024 GMC Acadia has also grown in size and it’s now the size of the Enclave. Kia and Hyundai are trying to compete with the cooperation they received the twin brand strategy from.
With little effort I was able to turn down the rear seats like they were never there. What’s the fuss, the vehicle is seating-flexible either way.
There is a rear windshield wiper - it is tucked away in the top and is out of sight when not in use.
Drove a middle of the road trimmlast week and it was comfortable and had a smooth ride. It is smaller than the telluride and pallisade though.
I would need tk drive a top trim model ti see how i like it. I assume they will have a hybrid version soon.
Saw you filming this one in the TFL walkaround lol
No rear wiper at all? Or is it top mounted under the roof spoiler thingy?
It's tucked up in the top! I have one and ❤ it!
a BOLD move, like the front end area but in not sure I like the overall boxy design ...
The most beautiful headlights ever.
How
Greetings Joe and Lori from southern Ontario Canada please do a video of all your very own collection of cars this would be an eye opener, I drive a hearse so this sport utility vehicle has no reference to it
I still pick the telluride 🔥!!!
How do you clean the back window when raining or snowing
With the hidden windshield wiper
U pointed at the uv-c sanitize dash button and said “u can do all sorts of things with the lighting” 🤔
Yes of course Joe and this will be my daily.
This is one of the most intriguing new SUVs that has certainly caught my attention. I really wish there was a Black Headliner option, since I can't seem to find out if any of the trim levels offer that.
I haven’t seen a black but they have a really pretty dark gray. It look woven.
When I first saw a picture of it a few months back, I hated it. Looking at it now, it’s actually a beautiful SUV.
Love it!!!
Love the rear end design.
I doubt that is a drain plug that's usually where they put the 21mm nut to lower and raise the spare tire
Not only your knowledge made me subscribe but also your random jokes lol. Good stuff!
I love it all except for the back...ugh...I'm not sure what it is? Too bare or plain...but its bomb!!
I just saw one in person. The back looks pretty cool, surprisingly.
The front and side and inside can be rated as A++. The back, ?
Yea, maybe if I see it in person.
Remember when they tried to discontinue Twinkies!?!? Backend is way less offensive than it appeared in photos. Great work as always. Introduced my 76 yo Dad to you and he thinks you're quite the character!
Looks amazing ❤
A couple of things: the openings in the c pillar are not to mount boxes and/or accessories….they are grab handles to hoist yourself up to reach the roof. The top portion can be locked from inside the c pillar. This exterior feature is available on the XRT and Calligraphy trim levels. Also, “wood” trim in the interior is fake wood, not the real stuff. Although, I do have to say that Hyundai did a nice job of making it look convincingly real.
Thanks for sharing the intel.
I dig it … I hope they make a high performance off-road model … with idk 🤷♂️ proper exhaust note .. and wee bit more power … almost perfect vehicle
Why does no reviewer mentioned anything about the spare wheel, is it a space saver tire?
That rear looks like a minivan from the late 80s and early 90s.
Lol it does
From the side it looks more like ford flex
Joe Raiti for President!!!
❤Raiti 2024❤
The rear is totally GEO METRO! Bet nobody here remembers the Geo Metro 😂
The back is dreadful
Joe, with this updated and a bit larger Santa Fe, I can't help but wonder about the Hyundai Palisade and the future of that mid-sized SUV compared to the Kia Telluride. Anyway, I really like what you've shared with this review.
Love the design of this car
I LOVE the look of this and want one it looks like my Ford Flex lol and I need to upgrade.
I love this I have to have it may be in the next 7 mos this y
Good, no rear wiper, jus through a full size spare tire on that back window. Boom...Shout out Lori.
Is this the Calligraphy trim level??
they should make a shorter a bit smaller two roll version..
Rear wiper under brake light.
so what is difference between this and palisade?? is this smaller?
Over a foot smaller. Tighter width too. This is more like a Sorento vs Telluride. This is a true mid size. Palisade is kind of a tweener between mid size and full size.
Weird that there’s no official pricing, yet these are on dealer lots already and being delivered to customers 🤷♂️
😂😂😂
Rear taillights looks similar to Geo Metro
Hope you’re enjoying the Windy City; my hometown city!
IMHO, this refreshed Santa Fe looks stunning. The only Zonk, I'd give it is the taillights. If they were placed right under the glass, it would look better. Not a deal breaker as that's it's only Zonk. Can't wait for the hybrid, that might be my Honda Element replacement, aka toaster!😂
Ur doing a car review is it a drain plug or not?
Ty for a nice video.
Not Electric vehicle, No go for me. Way too many buttons, very busy screens, Exactly what I hate on my 2021 Santa Fe. This one is much bigger, too big if u ask me. If I want something that big i'd go with a different vehicle. The Santa Fe had that sweet midsize for the one who don't need/want a big SUV.
For my 21 Santa Fe I am trading it for a new model S next week. Never going back to an ice vehicle again.
Man I'd love to have a white interior but know how that's going to end poorly lol Glad to see these hitting the dealerships around me but oddly they aren't carrying any calligraphy trims, very little limited trims and nothing in Pebble Blue Pearl
The title should note this is the calligraphy top end model, of which many of the touted features are specific to just that top tier model.
Love car. Want the plug in version
Great review Joe as I wish I was in Chicago now for the auto show? I have this exact serenity white pearl on the beige and forest green AWD Calligraphy on reserve from a great dealer I like in Mississippi with an ETA of 3/7. I have a Hampton Grey AWD Calligraphy on the grey nappa leather interior also on order with the largest Hyundai dealer in the world just up the street from where you often shoot your Kia videos. I am not sure what Hyundai of New Port Richey is going to do for me other than discount the vehicle to remove the $1,199 doc fee and $99 electronic filing fee. Why the hell can't I buy Hyundai and Kia SUVs in Florida where I live? I can't wait for the FTC CARS regulations to become effective on 7/30 as these FL new car dealers are the most outrageous with taxable dealer fees (i.e. doc fee, electronic filing fee, third party agency etc). I help people buy Korean vehicles and I almost always go out-of-state to do it as my small fee and the shipping is still a better deal vs. folks buying locally in Florida. Anyway, sorry for the rant here and another great video my friend. Another point I have is why didn't Hyundai make a power tilt and telescopic steering wheel as they did in other international markets? Also, why is there no ergonometic driver's seat also? The massage seat is nice but I can't use that while driving. I use the that ergonomic driver's seat function on my 24 Palisade Night Edition every day. I am torn between the serenity white pearl and the hampton grey exterior and I don't care about paying $470 more for the serenity white pearl paint surcharge. Lastly, Hyundai should have made the second-row captain's chairs ventilated as well as heated. It's great that the seats are not power reclining, but the ventilated function would have been appropriate at a $50k MSRP for an AWD Calligraphy trim with a few options on the Monroney Label. I am seeing Limited trims being discounted already in some parts of the country so it will only be a matter of time before the Calligraphy gets discounted. Anyone paying MSRP or above in Florida with egregious doc fees and mandatory accessory packages worth 10 cents on the dollar will be upside down for a long-time on any loan taken out. Great video my friend and I will continue to do my part in helping those that want to use my services and cut out all the crazy doc fees, mandatory accessory packages, and upcharges. Great video and thank you again!
I'd take the Telluride / Palisade based on the powertrain alone....
