    Glad I had the red turbo inlet. It allowed me to see the black gunk in the hose. Also because the car is black, it looks clean with the black charge pipe and intake.

      I recommend keeping gas tank 3/4 to full tank of best gas possible. Highest octane fuel. Use 91 map with 92-93 fuel or add a bit of 100 octane on 93 OTS.

    Just installed the Perrin turbo inlet and boomba bpv; when I let off the gas it sounds like a duck, a chilly 🥶 duck lol

    hi, thank you for your tips. They're all helpful. As Boomba seem to suggest, did you trim the recirc spigot? Did you trim evap/crank case hose? I pretty much have the same setup as you do, well, about to.

      I should have made a video of the Perrin Turbo Inlet install, because I can't remember if I trimmed anything. It was almost 2 years ago. I did the Turbo Inlet and Boomba BPV at the same time. Sorry I don't have a better memory.

      @@epicpeaker3155 I appreciate your reply! There was no need to cut anything , which you must have not and thats why you probably didn't remember. This inlet seems like it ties all the above pretty well!

      The inlet is awesome! Get the red one. To nitpick, I think it should have a little wider clamps and the EBCS doesn't screw into it. My EBCS was totally secure after almost 2 years tho. Also it does have a flow advantage over stock. So if you're FBO and other WRX is also FBO and you have the inlet it will give you just that little bit more, to pull away or know that you have more power. Lol.

    So your just running a OTS TUNE ? Any issues or alarms ? I'm looking to do all this to my wrx 2018. Nice to know if you don't have to get a dyno tune.. but I bet dyno tune would be better? Get some sounds dude I want to hear it..

      Yes. Cobb Stage 2 OTS tune is compatible with the parts. I believed Thomas from Perrin talking about it on the NASIOC forums. Obviously a protune would probably yield 20+ WHP. Good to be able to enjoy the car now. For protune I'm installing Headers, Intercooler, Full TGV Deletes and EBCS.

      Thanks man. Sounds good.. I'm still on stock for now.. doing all exterior and suspension now. Motor stuff in coming year.. keep up the videos great help thanks

      @@anthonywrx449 It's good to have a balanced car. I was unsatisfied with the shifting of WRX and how sloppy the drivetrain was. If you do anything do the Perrin shift stop. I've done Perrin brass bushing, Boomba shift plate, Group N Trans Mount, Positive shift kit, and Pitch stop. The car went from a 2 out of 10 to an 8 out of 10. Today I'm installing Upper Diff mount bushings/lockdowns and Diff carrier lockdowns. Hopefully it gets to 9 out of 10. Probably next week I'll do the Subframe lockdown and maybe car will be a 10 out of 10.

      I hear that.. stock sucks! Hate 1st gear... which I do have the sti package with short throw shifter.. can't wait to see how stage 1 and 2 do.. would you recommend stage 1 then go to stage 2? Just to feel the difference,? So many routes to take.. I want to put things on that work with each other.. appreciate the feed back have a good1..

      @@anthonywrx449 Accessport. Because you can monitor problems with your car in real time. Example. Boost leak, Engine Knock, CEL, Timing. Accessport will flash stage 1 with no parts. IMO the car runs way better. The throttle is way more linear and rev hang is decreased, plus you get a little more power. If you're rich, get FBO and Protune. But I'm not, so I'm building it. What I like is. My car is getting better/newer instead of it getting worse and old.
