    Tried one yesterday and thought it was gonna be the best. They said to let the dough in the fridge for 20 minutes. 1tbsp per cookie, 2 inches apart, flatten a bit and bake for 12-14 minutes. Also, to cover the raisins with warm water for 10-15mins, drain then pat. AND, they were not soft and didn't even spread. I hope this one does better. Thank You

    • @patwarmack678
      @patwarmack678 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The first time I tried this recipe it was a disaster. Second time I altered it a little. If you have a food processor - ground the instant oats first. Boil water and soak the raisins in the water for 20-30 minutes (use only enough water to cover the raisins). Put the flour, oats, salt,sugar, baking powder and baking soda in mixing bowl and stir. Add the vanilla extract and eggs. Stir well making sure the egg is fully mixed in. I added a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Melt the butter either on stovetop or microwave. Let it cool a minute before adding it. Drain the raisins and add them to the dough. Then store dough in refrigerator for 15 minutes. After that you're all set to bake. I retried making this recipe today and the cookie dough was much better and the cookies are delicious Hoping this helps 😌
