    Hi Donna I appreciate your recipe and was what I was looking for. Since I had a stroke this year whenever I’m doing a recipe I need to watch it first and then make an ingredients list. It does help so that I do not forget any ingredients and also check that I have everything at hand. Here is the list that I made for your recipe in case someone wants a list of the ingredients that you have used:
    Donna's Soft oatmeal cookies
    Cookie ingredients:
    2 sticks salted butter
    3 tablespoons canola oil
    1 Cup of slightly packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup white granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 Quick cooking oatmeal And 1/2 preferred nuts, toasted and cooled
    2 1/2 cups All-purpose
    1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    2 tablespoons corn starch
    1 cup raisins

    Just a thought. After you make up the dough can’t you make up the “cookie logs” first then chill in fridge? That way they chill faster since the dough is separated into smaller pieces.

    • @CookingWithDonna
      @CookingWithDonna  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Sewing is fun..yes you sure can if you have enough room for the large baking sheet to put in the fridge

    • @CookingWithDonna
      @CookingWithDonna  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Placing them in a bowl rolled into logs they more than likely will stick to one another
