And here we are! Pretty good for this run. Currently 2nd place on Leaderboards, let's see how long I can keep it.
These videos are proof that S Ranking Kairos is easier than you think with the right setup! You can really allow yourself to be sloppy like me and still get an excellent score.
As for the boss, kinda disappointing. He shouldn't have been anything other than the Circle V boss :(

Funny thing I found about Heatwave, if you cancel it after hitting with the wing slam using Rift Slip or Limit Break, it doesn't consume the ability, so you can get multiple Eikonic Punishment bonuses for one Heatwave charge.

That's great! Now I'm wondering why I didn't put 2 and 2 together.
Only disadvantages I see are spending your precious LB and taking into account the time lost where the enemy isn't being Cold Snapped, but definitely worth experimenting. Getting both Eikonic Punishments and Cold Snaps in is a really fine balance hard to minmax.

You have to S rank all of kairos gate on Final Fantasy mode

Is the counter point boon that powerful? I mean for Heatwave and Rook’s Gambit.

I think it should be worth it what with Gambit Counters giving easy green starts
