The final Eikon form in the game is the Ultima form. You get it when starting Kairos Gate. It's got some pretty strong moves and abilities. Unfortunately doesn't really change the final boss or ending....

This here this is why I have said Pure Evils are the dumbest beings who will ever live they bring about their own undoing's by doing things like this but why should I expect a thing older than the planet they are on be any different I looking at Ultima when I say this.

@@abdieljove2011 but he understands what he does he cast premogenisis which I remind you is the spell that blocked out the sun and upset the aether balance causing aether floods all over Valisthea causing many to turn Akashic which is a fate worse than death he knows what he is doing and he knows what good and evil is to his creations who he turned his back on if he won his goal would have been realised and all life on the planet would be dead he is the definition of Pure Evil but because he is alien we find our selves questioning this but he isn't even the most hated that dyshoner goes to that wretch Anabella Rosefield who didn't even grant us the satisfaction of seeing her last moments be painful she ended herself to quick.

They say ultima is the worst antag in the game but lets be real here annabella is 10 times worse then ultima she betrayed her own country,people and family for a piece if shit son (not dion)
Really hope this game gets more DLC down the line. Would be awesome to get other iconic Primals/Eikons like Alexander and Knights of Round. Though I guess that would make Clive's alredy extensive moveset a bit bloated (?)
Or maybe just more super bosses so that you have something to throw all the OP gear/abilities you have at by the end of the game.
Alexander would be a bit weird but I would love it if Diabolos appears. An Eikon of Gravity, sign me up!
It would be difficult to condense THIRTEEN knights (12 plus King) into a single Eikon. Let alone into a moveset...

Good question. He can literally turn into a kaiju and has so many powers. But then again, if he uses those powers too much, he becomes inflicted with petrification. Hopefully there's a dlc that helps him resist beginning to petrify like in the original ending.

Because even with all this power Clive is still getting his ass kicked by most of the final fantasy cast? You do know that alot of clives ability are basically standard equipment for characters like warrior of light, onion knight, Bartz, Terra,Cloud, Noctis,Jack and even lightning right

Clive is strong. Most certainly in thr top 5 strongest final fantasy protaginist. Id even say he's number 3. Lightning being nunber 2 and the Warrior of light from 14 being number 1.

I mean Ultima's goal is to make Clive his vessel and he thinks he will succeed anyway. Not that it makes it any brighter.

but if i can write for the character a lil, i would also somewhat assume that if a portion of my direct power is already within the vessel at the time of convergence, it would make it easier to take control. like a small bit of corrosion within ready to get started. but agreed, still dumb move.
@@godsplayingfield I would definitely do the same. It's just the classic villain is utterly arrogant stuff. Fortunately this time it does fit nicely with how Ultima is depicted and I don't feel it makes him that much less dangerous. But like you say, still a dumb move.

Amazing, if they ever make another dlc Typhon should be another summon ability.
At first when i saw this, i thought Clive would prime into a blue version of ifrit like ultima prime, but seeing him gain Ultima's power is something i could never imagined of
Clive says that he STILL thinks that he is their vessel and when Clive asks they remain silent means there is more to come for FF 16
I like ff16 my only gripe which some people don’t mind but it’s personal preference is how we are including more story despite the ending of the game
1. The DLC takes place before the ending
2. DLC was never planned initially for 16, only after fan demand for more content did they decide to make some.
I understand that I’m just not a fan of adding more story after the ending like this it would be one thing if the ending was different but to add more to the story before the end is just something I personally don’t like that much
I hope they change the ending or have an alternate scenario, Clive’s now a complete vessel and even has some of ultimas power so he should be able to erase aether without having his hand turn to stone

@@ignisdarkyet in the credits it’s shown that the book was written by Joshua, which was probably Clive honoring his dead brothers name just like he did with cid, and in one of the final sub quests Harpocrates suggests Clive should write a book about everything
Hopefully this game get more expansion or dlc. I still want to get Typhon eikon and maybe they can introduce us Alexander as a living dominion/eikon.

Dlc happens before the ending of main story
DLC happens basically right before you head to the final conflict, though you need to do a couple side quests to get the DLC quests to appear

Uhhhh...okay? I haven't played since release so maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't the elemental aspect do nothing anyway? Why is this being listed as some type of feature?

Ultima's magic attack is called Ruin/Rampant Ruin (During Ascension), from what we're seeing.
Best bet is that it HAS no element in particular, and is just...well, pure magical energy.
Which checks out, considering who Ultima is, and that his spells don't seem to use any elements until his 'Ultimalius' phase is reached during his boss fight.

That’s typical yoshi, he stripped out elemental features from 14, unique weapons and stat mixing. He wants everything homogenous and he wants you to play the game how he wants it played.

Hey, I've completed both DLC quests. How do I get this set of powers?
Edit: In order to get the new sets of powers you must have the star on your save.
after completeing rising tide, you go to the stone thing in the hideaway. its the thing that lets you do training and stuff
Arete Stone. And you obtain this power by starting the introduction of the Kairos Trials.
I did complete the main dlc quest and nothing happened when I went to the Arte Stone.
He's officially the strongest FF protag. He would solo the entire ff7 cast at this rate
Final Fantasy 14 Warriot of Light kills beings like Cloud every Tuesday before weekly Roulette Reward Reset. He has defeated all of Clives Eikons in A realm Reborn. And killed a Universal being with the Power of Friendship. Clive get clapped. Im not kidding.
This made it worth fighting that same water lizard on ff difficulty.
I don’t see this scene when I go to the Arete stone. Am I not done with the rising tide dlc? The last thing I did in it was baptize the baby, they put three different water on its forehead. Is there something else after this I’m supposed to do!

Now, what we need next is a ability set of Ifrit and that would make Clive be original and not just using powers from other Eikons
I can’t seem to find a guide on what I’m missing to unlock this. Am I needing to do the Chronoliths before I do this, am I needing to beat the game? I’m so confused on what I need to do.
I've beaten the game. Done all side quests. Beat dlc 1, beat dlc 2, and done all side quests in dlc 2
I might just be missing the beating the game part then. I was wanting to do them before going down to Origin.

I don’t know if doing everything on the previous save makes a difference but I got this on my ff mode run while skipping 90% of the side quests by just beating the two dlcs(haven’t even beaten origin yet)
I did do everything on my regular clear before starting ff mode tho

No they don't
From my understanding Leviathan was ruined by human messing with eikons powers along with sinister intent for the vessel of the eikon

I think this is what Ultima meant by calling Clive "Logos" and saying he has "become free". He just stepped into the realm of the divine, or more likely unlocked the same power as Ultima thanks to the Eikons.
Turns out when you give your creations your own power, they can become as strong as you! Shocker, I know! 😅

@@jasonwarnecke1560 since you already asked for a spoiler, i'll give you this other tiny one, the game actually retcons itself if you play the last DLC - - the ending pretends like it never happened (even though you get all this stuff, and Ultima is *in* the last DLC) - - they got lazy
@MissMeowMania you can't make the Lazy argument because realistically, Clive was NEVER going to survive. Even implying the DLC was a Retcon, despite taking place BEFORE the Ending, flies in the face of the Pre-Established Narrative.
With AND without Levi and Ultima Lite, Clive absorbed Ultima after their final battle and upon doing so, realised that "...Ultima's power was TOO great for this Vessel all along." The excess of Aether was already going to kill Clive and it already started to before he even used his Power so it was only inevitable that Clive would turn to stone afterwards.
Absorbing Leviathan and Ultima (twice) did nothing to stop Clive's Petrification and it never would have. I want Clive to survive too but survey says "Not Looking Good, boss" and that's Ultima's fault. Ultima was too vain, egotistical and confident to see that his plan, though awesome, was NEVER going to work

No I was in base game. Did you finish the game? Beat final boss yet. Because the order I did things were beat base game and all side content. Then 1st dlc. Then 2nd dlc and side content and it was glowing

the devs literally always said there would be extra things and that the ending would be the same. the dlc did exactly that, and some people are surprised 🤣

If those wings aren't the reward for collecting all the FFXIV EX Trial mounts, I'll be super disappointed. YoshiP can't taunt us with a single set of wings for all these and then not combine them into the Ultima wings like damn.

If they introduced someone like that how would they explain it in the world? They made it clear who and how many Eikons there are and that leviathan was mission. Who else would the mystery power be?
