Coral Sword was a surprise as pretty much all my other chests were just Upgrades when I got it. The problem with the Ancient Sword is by the time you get it you have access to the side quests and hunts to get the Excalibur, so it sat in my inventory.
"First one: The Coral Sword. This is a powerful EARLY GAME sword!"... Bruh, I'm 39 hours in and I feel like I'm still so far away from this. Love it. Amazing game!
Tbh if you're already playing the game and checking everything out before moving on to the next step, these items are worthless unless you're a collector. By the time you reach the cool weapons, you can already have a weapon multiple times better than the one you waited to get just by doing the quests they give you. The acquisition time line for these items is real weird that way and I don't understand why they did it like that. Every cool item that was far into the story that I got as soon as I was able, paled in comparison to what the game ALREADY gave me, making them effectively useless to me.
It's kind of weird how game changing it is. It completely changes the dodge animation and boosts attack speed in such a crazy way it's wild people could totally miss it.
