Sometime when you messed up the program process, factory reset is the way to fix the mess. Also if your roomate moved out and you may want to change the code of the keypad

I have the genie 7155, the keypad doesn't work and there appears to no power in the keypad since the buttons don't light up. The only way I can open the garage door is with the app? Do you have any idea what the problem may be?

Did you check if there is electricity to the keypad?

@@joehowto there is power to the keypad but neither the keypad, the wall button or the remotes works. Only way to open or close is with the apo.
