Thant is a nice Halloween post card. The way you did the quilt on the long arm was interesting. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us Becca.
Oooooo cool thanks for sharing the “what if I do this?” I’m doing a QAYG with Pattern Poole from Australia trying to learn their technique. NOW, I’m very excited about both. I just got a new walking foot and my machine is acting up. URGH go me
So I watched this video and the freezer paper FPP video and think I will combine the two techniques. I'm making placemats. How does that sound? Thanks for your instructions. You do a very nice job. Sue
You need a water spritzer for those wrinkles on your back, it works much better than trying to iron out those deep creases. I longarm too and this is my preferred method. 😊0
Isn’t using the longarm a great way to make a quick quilt?! When I had my Gammill I would do this with scraps; just stitch them together into strips to the length I wanted then just zip them up. So easy and really a great way to scraps and jelly rolls!
I thought the same thing - the way you'd build something out is a little bit like paper piecing...kind of. But, you're not stitching through paper, you're instead stitching through batting & backing...and not working from the backside!
This was an absolute brainstorm Becca!! Love it!! ❤❤
Thank you! I'll definitely do more of these - and I think they're SO EASY you can do them on either a longarm or a domestic!
That is brilliant!!! I love the way the postcard & the quilt both turned out!! What a great idea!!👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much! 😊

Wow! I just got a long arm and am in the beginning stage of trying to learn it. I can’t wait to try this technique!!!
Omg the ideas you've given me !!!!!!!!!!😮 ❤❤❤❤
👋👋 awesome idea. Love that postcard ❤
Thanks so much 😊
Great tutorial! Loved the long arm quilt!❤
Thank you!
That was genius Becca, I tired that quilt as you go and it wasn’t for me.I think I could work with this method. Thanks
Wonderful!
Look at that! Get it all done at once!
I'm all about being efficient!
Wow Becca this is so cool! Kinda like easy paper piecing. I love that you can make stars with nice points. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the tutorial! It was fantastic!
Hi Becca! Enjoyed your tutorial. :) :)
Thanks so much! 😊
Very nice! I really like the extra line of stitching. It really adds to it.
I think so, too!
Thanks - I thought it added just enough to it!

Oh no! Hopefully the machine starts to behave itself soon!
Thank you for showing this. It is really quite easy when you think it through.
It really is! It took longer to get up the gumption to actually load the longarm than make the quilt!
Awesome thanks now I know how I'm going to try to make a baby quilt ❤
You’re welcome 😊 This was *definitely* fun - and something I think you could easily do on a domestic!
Cool tutorial. Just shared this episode with a friend who has a long arm.
Wonderful - let me know if you tackle the project!
Awesome Tutorial Becca
Thank you!
Love this! Can’t wait to try. A square foot would be helpful for that quarter inch when strips are not straight.
That's a great idea!
Hey Becca! What great ideas! I am going to try the post card. I like QAYG sometimes. Using the long arm is genius! Thank you! ❤
Thanks for watching!
I do not have a long arm but have switched to QAYG for flannel baby quilts with some really good results!
Another great video...thank you!!

How cute!
Thanks!!
Looks great
Thank you!
I am so going to try this!
Thank you so much for the video.
You are so welcome!
thanks for showing this Becca. Very helpful. I have been making FPCs lately. Just started. Have a good day.
Glad it was helpful!

Good tip!!
Love this idea!
Thank you! 😊
Becca I want to thank you for doing the qayg. I don't feel so anxious now about trying it. Wouldn't it be cool to make a purse with this method??
Absolutely! I can find so many uses for QAYG now!

So this is really a variation of 'paper piecing' and qayg ... neither of which used to make sense to me. 😊 but I think I'm getting it.

I hope to meet you someday. I live in Delaware
I'm not too far from Delaware!
