Fab challenge and well done by ALL… great quilt, amazing quilting, added bonus the love of your little playing on it :) handsome to the MAX. Well done to you all Becca, Tiffany , Teresa Louise & Ian ❤ ya all
I love that pattern, but the Tula black and white fabric is fantastic. I don’t buy much of her fabric but I’m not adverse to it. I think she is an exceptionally talented artist. That quilt absolutely needed the purple border!
Admit intimidated by some tula, but love her solids and the smaller motifs. The purple frame/binding was perfect, as was the border, allowing it to float. Loved the whole story, lucky aunt. 😍 seeing the joy on your face when you revealed your quilted quilt. Big hugs, Chel 🌸
Becca- this is beautiful! Such perfect fabric choices!! I'm also not a huge Tula fan but it was a great call for this pattern. My preteen daughter LOVES your quilt! Congrats on stepping out of your comfort zone!
I get the outside comfort zone with Tula fabric - attempting the butterfly quilt. Your quilt is beautiful, the black and white with the pop of colour give a very striking look.
I hear you! I bought the butterfly quilt and will be working on it off camera with some friends. That one intimidates me - but I know with the help of my friends, it'll come together!
I love your quilt Becca. It turned out great. I am a big Tula Pink fan especially her brighter colours My quilt shop recently brought her fabrics in. I was so excited. Good for you for taking on this project. Such an inspiring story too. 😊❤
That’s it that’s it oh Becca thank you for sending me an answer this will keep me busy I’m 83 and I immediately started getting the black squares and fabric together when I saw your but then couldn’t find the pattern thank you so much all the best Pamela rabon❤
Great idea for using layer cakes. I never purchase them. But your idea of using them to showcase the fabric is genius! Thank you for sharing! Love your quilt!!
I had a quilting pattern that intimidated me until I found a TH-cam Channel that gave me to courage and encouragement to do it. It’s a great channel and has a lot of quilty friends with channels who inspire also. This remarkable channel is called SewBecca. Thank you for all you give freely and lovingly. ❤
I love Tula fabric as well as Kaffe while also loving everything else!! Your quilt turned out absolutely gorgeous. I love it and it so pretty. Great job……………..
Tula Pink is my absolute favorite, I buy all her fabrics and love to sew with them. I have several less than halfway done though because I tend to choose complicated designs with her stuff and then they take forever. 😂 Beautiful quilt, seems like a great choice for linework!
I grew up in Ferndale , Michigan. Now live in Northern Michigan. Love watching your videos. Your quilt turned out so pretty! That purple binding was a great choice!
Girl, this is absolutely gorgeous!! You captured the beauty of her designs and then highlighted each of them with the appropriate color choices. Wow.🖤🤍🖤 My suggestion for a name would be something that centers around the common love you and your friend share. “New Stars on the Block” since they look like the newest stars in the night sky. Love your quilt so much! Well done!!🌙
I get it! There's lots of her fabric that I do actually like - and I buy it. Then, it sits on the shelf forever...I never work with it...and then I destash it. Perhaps I'll stop stressing and try to use more of it.
I love this quilt! You did an amazing job on it and I am so proud of you for dipping your toe into using Tula Pink fabric. This was a great project for it.
Quilt turned out great! I bought the pattern, and I have all the fabric. I have EXACTLY the same Tula phobia, but I'm going to make this same quilt! Thank you for the inspiration ❤
Its beautiful Becca. After watching all of you with the challenge I had to get the fabric. I too got the layer cake and slowly getting other precuts of her lines.
Love the quilt! I never know how to use Tula Pink fabric either. I still have the fat quarter bundle that came in a sew sampler box. Maybe I will try it on your new pattern when you release it!
Gorgeous quilt. I am totally with on the fear of cutting Tula. I pulled the trigger recently with a layer cake of Tiny Beasts using the Hunters Star from a layer cake and it stunning!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxx
Congratulations! This is one of the best quilting videos I have ever watched! Your story was very interesting and you did not ramble, and you never said uhm once! I am an advid quilter on the verge of using Tulsa ‘s fabric for the first time. Hope to see your friends quilts soon🥰
I’ve done 2 quilts with Tula.I wanted the the main character to show for a baby quilt but because I fussy cut I had to buy 1/2 yard more 😢. I will post to your Facebook page
I just finished my quilt top using linework some solids and a black background I just have to add a thick border so it fits my Queen bed. I’m in love with it❤
I'm not a Tula fan, but I do appreciate the vibrant colors and designs...I just find them hard to work with, as I do smaller piecing, and her prints are large designs...and would just get cut up.... also not a fan of Kaffee, or batiks, or K.Troubles...but hey! We all have our preferences, and there is something for all!
I’m doing Cotton Cuts Petting Zoo because my sister with a TBI requested it. Otherwise, big meh on Tula. I like bright fabric, I like busy patterns - I may have a Stomp Stomp Roar quilt on my bed. But Tula just is too much, goes past bright and busy into too much in large size and it warps when cut small.
Hi Patricia! I try to put links for the things I mention in my videos in the description box! I’ve pasted the link to the pattern here for you! www.etsy.com/listing/605900823/kaleidoscope-of-stars-pdf-quilt-pattern
@@sewbecca Im sure you will have a ton of name suggestions 😉 I was clapping as the quilt was revealed. I too struggle with "quilting fear" as i call it. Im sort of a newbie being about 3 years deep. I admire your honesty about what you do and do not like. I admire lorie holt and her experience, but... her fabric designs? Eehhh... so, everything is not for everybody right?

This would have caused NO stress for me for I am not a fan of Tula fabric line, I don't own any nor do I want any. The line is just not my choice of designs.
Great job, it's such a beautiful quilt ❤ I love that you gifted your blooms quilt to your aunt too ❤️ I loved our fun challenge ❤️
I loved our challenge, too - and I can't wait to do another one! Love you, friend! ❤️
@@sewbecca I love you too 😘
Love your quilt, I’m Tula all the way. Black and Tula even better 🎉
I’m discovering I like Tula a bit!

You and me both! But, perhaps this story can serve as a reminder to step OUT of your comfort zone sometimes!
What a beautiful Quilt!! Thank you so much for sharing it.
You are so welcome!
I love it,great job 👍👏🥰🌷🇦🇺

Thank you! I'm surprised at how much I love it considering I would have avoided buying this for myself.
It came out great!
Austin loves to tape the heck out of the boxes lol
He did a great job, LOL
Beautiful quilt, great job. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you - glad you enjoyed the video!!
There is just something about using black as a background and bright fabrics! Your quilt is beautiful!
I agree 100%! I've been thinking about a quilt with a black background and some of the batiks I have!
Love Tula fabric and your quilt is wonderful! Love how it turned out!
Thank you so much!
Becca, I really love how your quilt turned out! I think your border choice was perfect and I absolutely love the purple binding!

Love your quilt, I would call it Star Struck. Have a good day. :-)
Oooh, Star Struck - so far, that's my favorite!

I love Tula Pink fabrics. Your quilt is beautiful. The back is beautiful too. Would have loved to see the quilting.
The quilting is shown in the video - but, Beth has a whole video showing all of the details of how it's quilted (thread/stitch pattern/etc.).
Love this quilt. Love Tula Pink
Gorgeous!
That really came out pretty!❤️
Thank you!
Your quilt is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing❤️🇦🇺
Thank you! 😊
Omg, the NKOTB tshirt…🫶
I’m not a Tula fabric fan (even less of the price), but love her girl boss brand vibe and success.
Cool quilt! I love it!
Thank you! 😊
Tula Stars😃
That’s a great name!!
Beautiful 😍
Thanks so much! 😊
Becca, your quilt is gorgous! I hope Tula sees it; I know she'll love what you created with her fabric.
I hope so too!
Beautiful quilt, black was the only choice. I have only used precuts with Tula fabric, it is a pick and choose because I hate snakes.

So pretty! I hope you guys do more collabs. It was a joy to watch and inspiring.
More to come!
Preach! I feel the same way about cutting Tula but I hoard it! I love her stuff!!
I get it! There's lots of her fabric that I do actually like - and I buy it. Then, it sits on the shelf forever...I never work with it...and then I destash it. Perhaps I'll stop stressing and try to use more of it.
Beautiful quilt! I love Tula fabric, but I agree I would be afraid to cut it.
I totally agree! Sometimes the fear of miscutting just complete stunts me!
Wow Great Job!
Love this story❤
thank you!
Wonderful story of your quilt and it’s absolutely gorgeous !!😱🎉🎊🥰
Thank you so much!
I love this! I have a box of Tula Pink I am afraid to cut as well and this quilt is perfect to showcases her designs.
Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! Don't be afraid to cut into it - just try!!
I love this quilt! You did an amazing job on it and I am so proud of you for dipping your toe into using Tula Pink fabric. This was a great project for it.

Wonderful! I can't wait to see what you do with it!
I love your quilt it’s gorgeous. I’ve made a shadow quilt using this same fabric it’s really pretty.
I will say - this is one of my favorite lines from Tula!
Love the quilt! I never know how to use Tula Pink fabric either. I still have the fat quarter bundle that came in a sew sampler box. Maybe I will try it on your new pattern when you release it!
Pattern will drop in a few weeks! Stay tuned!!
Beautiful quilt I have this same fabric and haven’t done anything with it yet. This is so inspiring.
I'd love to see what you make!!
Beautiful quilts and Awesome story ❤

Tula’s Tumbling stars
Another good option! I should ask y'all for quilt names more often!
I just finished my quilt top using linework some solids and a black background I just have to add a thick border so it fits my Queen bed. I’m in love with it❤
I have the same problem! I have a fat quarter pack of Everglow that I’m really hesitant to cut into.
cut it!!!
The Double Wedding Ring, I started out making for me, is going to my MIL. I know what you mean!
I think Quilters - as a rule - are generous and would give the quilt off their bed, if someone loved it!

Oooh, Ian's doing Petting Zoo - personally, he can have that one. I'm kind of excited about Cotton Candy this go round!
Hi Becca. Not sure what you are looking for in the name for this quilt but how about Sirius which is the brightest star in the night sky.
That's a great suggestion!
“Tula Stars”
I love using Tula fabric, but you have to commit to fussy cutting to get the best results. It’s not quick.
Where can I find the pattern for kaleidoscope of stars.
Hi Patricia! I try to put links for the things I mention in my videos in the description box! I’ve pasted the link to the pattern here for you! www.etsy.com/listing/605900823/kaleidoscope-of-stars-pdf-quilt-pattern
Oh and as for a name? "KTP Stars aligned" (klidascope tula pink) ?
Oooh, I love it!

I get it :) Fortunately, there's PLENTY of fabric to please every one!

I absolutely love Tula she is the sweetest and funniest, but I am really not in to Tula Pink Fabric. Just not my jam.
Haven't been super big fan of her fabric...until recently. But, I do LOVE her hardware!
Most Tula fabrics are Hideously Ugly, ….Bright Garish Colors, Yuck
