    Oh my God I had this so bad in 2020 and 2021. Had an endoscopy and was found to have gastritis and was rx Omeprazole. Never took the pills and started researching here on YT. I tried so many remedies… Apple cider vinegar, baking soda, lemon water, etc. it finally subsided honestly I don’t even k ow how cause I was doing so much! I had pain that radiated to my back and chest!!! Doctors did nothing and said nothing to help except pill pushing. HORRIBLE is an understatement!!! I also got terrible ringing in my ears at the same time!! Doctors didn’t help with that either! Have learned to tune it out and manage it by cutting out caffeine and sugar. I wish this on no one. Now I exercise a lot and drink lot of water not sure if that helps but it is does for me. I have suffered from a ton of peri symptoms and this is one of the WORST ones!!!!

    Hi I have had this for 26 years on and off. What I have found is that diet is very important. All acid blockers deplete our nutrients so we then become deficient in vitamins. Try and eliminate all foods that don't agree with you. You will see a huge difference. Also take a good probiotic that really helps. We always reach out for medication first. But honestly if we consistent in eating correctly you will find yourself in a much better condition. Stay away from spicy foods...fizzy drinks....water is best. Make small changes in your diet...use lactose free milk and yogurt, this helped me. Consistency is key. All the best ladies. Thank you for the video very informative.

    I had acid reflux for some time. I was prescribed omeprazole which made it worse. I had it all checked out by my GP. I wasn't getting any better so started to google. I stopped the medication as it wasn't helping. I stopped drinking fizzy water. I thought it was okay to drink it as it wasn't flavoured but no it was causing me problems. I stopped eating oranges, tomatoes and curries. Stress was a big factor for me. It took time but I got there. It still can play up now and again but do as Eileen says and keep a food diary.

    I'm 53 and had the worst 5 months fighting GERD and LPR which is thankfully slowly improving after being on a strict alkaline diet. I am also (i think) finally at the start of the menopause, after a few rough months coming out of the peri phase. Is the process of switching from perimenopause to the actual menopause a time when symptoms get worse? I have really struggled with inflammation too, tinnitus, sore eyes, back pain and burning sensation in my mouth from GERD. Oh the joys of being a woman :(

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Jennifer
      It's difficult to say as it is different for everyone. Some women do find that the end of the perimenopause is hard because of the last drop in hormones but for others it's an easy transition as their body has managed to adjust quickly to lower hormone levels

    I do think I am going through peri menopause. I get acidity/acid reflux around my periods only. It does cause a lot of discomfort and nausea etc. The discomfort continues for couple of days and then it goes away. I take Pepcid if it gets really discomforting. My naturopathic doctor has prescribed Digestase2.0 to be taken around my periods to ease digestion.

    I got this symptom for two years already. The lump in the throat makes me think all the time that I have a serious illness in there. It is horrible. Only reduciding carbs has heleped a lot, including veggies and fruit. Veggies gave me a lot of reflux.

    I'm 52 post menopause. And I have been suffering with nausea for the last 6 months. The nausea usually is after I've eaten. Once a vomiting starts it's very hard for it to stop. Tomorrow I'm having an ultrasound of my gallbladder. But I know it's not that I know it's my hormones. I was sick everyday of my pregnancy and I feel kind of the same now.
