A year ago I wanted the CT5-Blackwing then I saw the CT6-V and I was sold!!! Don't regret buying this car! It's a big car that handles like it's much smaller! If you find one buy it!
I've had mine for almost 3 years and I love it. Fantastic car for a long trip and I've averaged 28.1 mpg over 450 miles. As for speed I have a 2017 C7 Z06 and this CT6-V surprises the hell out of me.
Cool Crazy! During the trip the average kept increasing, so I began to drive to maximize MPG just to see how high I could get it, I think with a longer distance it would have gone higher.@@1offgarage
I own a 2020 version and its 204" long and will do around 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile and give me around 27-30 mpg's highway. For a comparison, My past muscle cars were 67 GTO, 206.6" long, and 14.5 sec 1/4 mile, and 70 Dodge Charge 440 was 210" long and 14 seconds 1/4 mile and 13-14 mpg highway was about it. So its a great modern muscle car that drives as a much smaller car.
I agree, I have a 2019 CT6-V as well as a 1970 Tran Am I restored. The technology difference is amazing. Love em both, but the Caddy is a great road car.
Honestly, I prefer the slightly more updated tan leather & Carbon Fiber interior in the current CT5V BW. However, taste is subjective & the CT6V is still a very nice car to be in
I HAVE A 2019 CT6 3.0TT PLATINUM SUPERCRUISE. GM NEEDS TO BRING THE NEWER 2023 CT6 TO NORTH AMERICA. ALL NEW INTERIOR AND BODY DESIGN RELEASED IN CHINA THIS YEAR. THIS IS MY 2ND CT6, I ALSO HAD A 2017 CT6 3.0TT PLATINUM. GM BRING THA NEWER CT6 BAK TO NORTH AMERICA 💯🎯🫡
I was looking at this and a cts V. I grew up on v8 gm rear wheel drive cars. My dad owned a salvage yard. My first car was a 79 cutlass. I opted for an 18 cts v. There might be a faster car but out perform the tires when it's cold.
E class? A little bit bigger than a ct5? It's over a foot bigger which it is massive when talking cars. This is Cadillacs version of a s class 63 only a lot cheaper
@@1offgaragehow can a car thats 206" be considered the American E class when a e class is a midsize sedan thats 195" long? The ct6 is 206" long, the s class starts at 208" long, it's a direct competitor to the s class, 7 series, A8, etc....The Ct5 is considered the tweener in the cadillac lineup, but it reality should not be. The ct5 is an inch shorter than the e class and 2" shorter than the 5 series and a 1ft longer than the 3 series.
The CT5 has no more leg room for the driver than my CT4. The CT5 is mostly about passenger comfort. The CT4 is a wee tiny bit more agile when you compare trim levels.
4 years after its discontinued in the USA, this beat will still cost yout $50-65k for a decent example... I must get one when the price is more in my range... soon... its a crying shame that gm killed this awesome car. Just when they decided to finally make something in direct competition with the germans, they then kill it. And insult to injury, they kill it in its homeland of the USA but make it available in other parts of the world... I wonder how this performs against the ct5 blackwing...
I'm sorry, maybe I'm in the minority (literally😂) but this version of this car has always been a mistake. A luxury sedan Cadillac shouldn't have to go fast in order to be fun to drive. I've owned this exact car & I couldn't downgrade fast enough. Just a regular non-turbo CT6 Luxury is completely fine. Large luxury sedan Cadillacs are made to look good while driving slow. They're made to be seen not to be heard. If Cadillac would have focused more on the luxury aspect than the power aspect of it then maybe they wouldn't have discontinued it in the US in 2020. Look at the Chinese version of the CT6 general motors kept selling over in China & you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. The 2025 CT6 is amazing! As soon as you pull up anywhere panties should automatically drop! You don't even have to say a word😂 That's what a large luxury sedan Cadillac is supposed to do. Who cares how fast I go I'm more concerned with who's coming home with me tonight and how many of them can I fit in the car 🤷 Don't forget pimpin is a business 😎 & while I don't know where you're from over here where I'm at business is good!
Man, if you can fully enjoy a car without it being powerful then my hat is off to you. This is a great example of how a vehicle is a personal choice. If you don't care that much about performance then drop down to the smaller engine & enjoy your lower MSRP while still getting a luxury sedan that still has great driving dynamics
Wait wouldn't the CT6 compete with the BMW 7 series or the Mercedes S class always thought the CT5 would compete against BMW 5 series and Mercedes E class and the CT4 put against the BMW 3 series and the Mercedes C class
China has their own manufacturing plants that builds them to Chinese spec. The U.S. plant has been transformed into an EV factory & GM doesn't import the Chinese variant into the U.S. Ultimately you can thank lack of sales & immense pressure from the Federal Government to transition to EVs
Wow... i was looking at the 2025 CT5 and i was wondering why they didnt bring the daytime running lights above the headlights and over the grille... then i see this and now it makes even less sense
The interior is horrendous and ugly. Looks very cheap and doesn't exude luxury. They need to make more light colored interiors. It's an absolutely beautiful car on the outside, but even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy it because of the interior.
I love high performance Caddy sedans & got a CT4 Blackwing. Amazing car I smile every time I drive it.
YEP! Can't help but have a good time in them!
Same here love my 4BW!

We 100% agree! Big car benefits with the handling of a smaller vehicle.

WOW 28.1mpg out if an AWD TT V8. Crazy!

I'm loving what Cadillac doing lately with twin turbo everything
Yes! And I Wish the CT6v twin turbo V8 could've stayed with us a couple more years 💔

IMO ….Way nicer than the CT5 V Blackwing

Way more coherent styling. More tastefully subdued too. Too bad the colors are all way too tame.
the black on black looks sick@@MrBinnie824
I like da chime in ct6v compared to ct5v
I just purchased one in April. 2020 with 26,000 miles on it. Phenomenal vehicle.
Absolutely love this car!! I wish the CT5-VBW had the all wheel drive option! It could be a year-round car then!!
And this CT6-V has proven that GM can make an AWD system that will still let you have fun & scoot the booty around when you want too!
The interior is nice in my opinion
😉
Very nice car, i love it. Greetings from Poland👍
Thank you! 👍
Stunning!
It really is!

Yes PLEASE bring it back, especially since the Asian market has one
I had no idea GM built a twin turbo v8
I didn't either until Cory introduced me to this car a couple months ago.

It has rear wheel steering as well..CTS-V is still pricey than this especially with aftermarket parts 😊
Yes. That rear steering made it feel much smaller behind the wheel.
@@1offgarageit’s a very very very long car!!!!
Wish I could afford one!!
Same
You can.
You should be shaming caddie for not selling this here but in china. It’s unbelievable
I agree. An American sedan that's not available in America is crazy
They are just letting the Chinese know Cadillac still has it and is capable of something they could never dream of. USA.
E class? A little bit bigger than a ct5? It's over a foot bigger which it is massive when talking cars. This is Cadillacs version of a s class 63 only a lot cheaper

Is it just me or is the BLACKWING engine a modern NORTHSTAR , certainly looks , sounds , runs like it.
Please do not disrespect the Blackwing by associating it with the Northstar 😂

Absolutely correct!
My 24' CT4 at the "D" pillar and headlights looks more like a small CT6 than the CT5 does.
I hear you could move to China a get one new )-; DAMN! What heck Cadillac?
Get us one & I'll pay for shipping!
I want one so

Hahaha amazing video 🦾
We appreciate that!

It does if you want a European product. But as far as direct American competitors, there really are none left.
why do the sell them in china but not here

I bought my Ats-v from Wagner cadillac
Whaaaaaat! Congratulations!
2 pieces of advice. Color grading is needed. Don't use other reviewers catch phrases.
What scenes need color grading & what catch phrase did we use?
The interior of this car looks cheap!
It was definitely the weakest link.
Too much black is all.... they made some with brown interiors that look way nicer
