This is why you NEVER please enthusiasts. They beg for a V8, AWD, and 500+HP and in the end? They don't buy it
Cadillac was there with this vehicle. It was a mistake to discontinue it. This car beats all foreign brands in my opinion.
Lets make a correvtion about that as a guy from EU i see so big engines its 4200cc and got only 550hp with turbo but otther than that i mean its perfect, PERFECT.

Man! Just when Cadillac got this car right, they decide to axe it from production! With no plans to use the 4.2 Blackwing V8! Imagine a CT6 relaunched with an interior like the new Escalade and the Blackwing V8!
Oh yes and new Escalade should have Blackwing 4.2 V8 as well as 6.2 V8 LT1.
They may wanna use a different twin turbo motor (I've heard they were working on flat plane crank v8s with TT for the mid engine Corvette) I dont know though.

Lovely car please don't scrap it! Used to sell Cadillac when I worked for GM Europe in the U.K. Comfortable cruisers and the Corvette was pretty cool too!
Beautiful. The CT/S line has been excellent for over ten years. 30k less than German counterparts and (I think) a superior sports sedan product.
Why the AF is Cadillac discontinuing this car? THIS should be their flagship!
They stupid! I have 2020 premium luxury AWD and I love it, Cadillac making a huge mistake.
Because Americans only want to buy SUV'S and crossovers. So the escalade is the only $100k cadillac selling.

Nice presentation of this terrific "sleeper" gem from Cadillac. Nice clear english speaker(Riley). Too bad this vehicle was discontinued right off the bat! GM can't stand to provide awesome vehicles of this calibre....

I also have a CT6, but unfortunately it is 2.0. I like this 4.2v8 displacement very much, but China does not allow sales of such a large displacement

Love this car, and thanks to low sales numbers it's cheap, about half the price of an equally equipped S-Class or 7-series, but also much more exclusive than these two where I live (less than 200 CT-6s are registered in the whole EU). This particular version is a little overdone though, the +500 hp make no sense even in a country that has 700 miles of speed limit-free highways left. And features like a G-force meter are just childish, this is a car that has to share the road with other cars, it's not a fighter jet.

How about a normally aspirated overhead valve pushrod V8 for simplicity and reliability!!!!!!!

The STS from 2005 to 2011 was available with AWD and the 4.6 Northstar too :) Chrysler 300C also as 5.7 HEMI

Awesome car but that gray ambiguous color is wack. Could use some dual different color trim and luminescence would be perfect. Also modernize the steering wheel.
The 2019 CT6-V had the 4.2 twin turbo first actually.

After driving Cadillacs for 3 years, I can tell you that if this car is anything like the past ATS, CTS, CT6, and Escalade, you will be surprised.
This car will get tremendous gas mileage! WHY? It will be sitting in service forever and it will seldom be on the road. The Escalade was in 54 times. The ATS was in 16 times. The CTS broke down 8 times. All started breaking down after 300 miles!
If you are stupid enough to buy this thing, check for a spare tire. Most models don't have one. Oh, my cars with the 2.0 turbo barely got 17 mpg. This monster in the video should come with a gas station.

Four liters, eight cylinders, over 550 horsepower. That is monstrous. Admittedly, it's not as montrous as the dynosaur steam-machine lthe 7.4 liter V8 Chevy big block was from back in the day when fuel was something to be wasted and everybody was flicking their cig butts out of their car windows.
Use to love Cadys , use to b set apart from other cars!! But since they rivalry wit German made cars.. got away from reall luxury & style.. Nw it’s performance & tech.. Lincoln stay tru🤷🏽♂️

Fast and powerful....yet profile (side) view is from 2010. No hood scoop for turbo performance. Compare this lackluster look against other performance vehicles in its class and poor GM is still lagging behind the competition. Shocker!
