E10 I Challenged Myself to Work in the Garden Everyday for a Month and This Is How It Went...

This garden was a dumping ground for many years and was so neglected it's going to take as many years to make this my dream garden of Eden. I made a challenge for myself to work in the garden everyday for a month and this video is the result. A few fun things I did during the month was to make a dead hedge/fence, build a high tunnel green house for propagating and sowing perennials and starting my first batch of propagated plants - black- and red currant bushes.
I am also revealing my vision for the garden of 4000 m2 and plans for the future.

I made the content for Instagram so unfortunately there are a lot of still photos and some were only shot in portrait format and made with my phone and therefore not as high quality as they could be, but I hope you can still enjoy it :-) I just didn't think I would make this into a vlog, but I think the result of my work was too good not to share on this platform.

Have you considered aquaponics? I think it would be really cool to have fish on the property, and you could have the plants sustain themselves off the fish and create a complete ecological system for your garden. Will be tough if you're winters are harsh though. Best of luck with your garden!

No I haven't! Interesting idea 🙂 the winters here in Southern Sweden are mild considering it's in Scandinavia, but it does get below 0 a few of weeks if you add all the days together. Would that work with aquaponics then? I guess if you keep fishes that are used to this climate it's better but then again if the pond completely freezes then it wouldn't work

Ja det har varit mysigt men nu får de inte gå fritt längre eftersom tuppen hoppar på allt och alla och skrämmer livet ur folk. De började också gå ut på vägen och gå utanför tomten. Tyvärr, men det blir bäst så nu 😔

Oh really? Then you are different than most of my followers. I was wondering how come it's so different between YT and IG. On youtube 20 % of my followers are women and 80 % men and on IG it's completely opposite 😀 so I guess very few were following me on both platforms, you are one of the exceptions 🫶
