Have curves , there are no straight lines in nature. ❤ your very good behind the camera , lovely voice 🎥, and natural. I have to pace myself, or I’m no good the next day .
We moved into a refurbished bungalow in November , the developer has planted about 100 laurel shrubs around the boundaries, we are hoping to remove them as we don’t want to spend our retirement cutting these thugs. Looking forward to seeing your new border, I’m hoping to plant shrubs I can use for flower arranging.
I’m watching you now. As I’m starting a new boarder. Never done gardening in my life but as I’ve got older I fancy a few flowers. Can you recommend some all year flower seeds . Also what flowers can I plant from garden store. Thank you
So jealous that you have such beautiful crumbly soil. I moved into a new built property with solid clay soil which is so difficult to dig 😢 Iam keen to learn how you are going to plant up this border.
I found this helpful... I spent today digging out about 40 feet x2 feet round my lawn. But I have a question :what is best to use so I can mow to the edge of the lawn without strimming
As a complete novice and needing to dig out a border this was invaluable, thank you !!

I’ve not designed the planting yet, but when I have I’ll share on P&T. Martin

You could edge the bed with brick set a lawn level so that you can mow to the edge
I'm wondering if you've had any experience with sheet mulching, where you put cardboard down over the turf, water it and put soil on top.
I’ve tried it to suppress weeds around trees and shrubs and it worked well, plus it also retained moisture for the roots. Martin
