@@volcanbolt12 But both Mega Houndoom and Pyroar have better special attack, and the electric moves are there to deal with water types. Solar Beam does the same but works off their better stat.
@@Leon-te2jx That's true, but having both Wild Charge AND Solar Beam will cover the vast majority of Water types... including pokémon like Gyarados & Pelipper (which resist Grass) and Quagsire & Whiscash (which are immune to Electric); and since Wild Charge > Thunder Fang, the choices seem pretty oblivious
I know you said you were changing Lysandre's Mega, but I would still go with Blastoise as Siebold's Mega just to help distinguish from Lysandre and replace the Clawitzer with Lanturn. I just think Gyarados kinda fits the theme of Lysandre's character too much to drop, both from the whole "destructive rage that destroys everything" angle and the fact that Lysandre continually talks about how there are "chosen ones" in society that deserve to be praised, which fits the idea of the diamond in the rough Magikarp becoming a powerful "dragon".
While this is true, i can see the reason as to not give Siebold a Mega Blastoise though, as it would feel a little unfair towards Drasna and Malva if Siebold gets the Mega Blastoise starter, but they don't get Zard X and Y. And i feel like if you do that, you need to replace Mega Gardevoir for Mega Venusaur on Diantha's team, in order to have all Mega Starters having some representation during the League. Here Mega Aggron was chosen as an option, but we also have Mega T-Tar as a solid replacement for Mega Gyarados or if you give Siebold Blastoise and Malva Zard Y, Mega Houndoom for Lysandre would be an option too.
@@Sam20309 I get what you mean, but I feel like team names are rarely indicative of what the team uses. Team Aqua and Magma only use one type tied to their name, Team Galactic doesn't only use space themed Pokémon, etc.
I would’ve just given Siebold the Mega Blastoise anyway, but alternatively, rather than nixing Lysandre’s altogether, you could make it a Shiny (like the anime version) to differentiate it from Siebold’s.
So I won't lie... This league took me three tries on my first playthrough all those years ago. My first attempt, I was swept by Siebold's Dragon Dance Gyarados. My second attempt, I was swept by Diantha's Gardevoir because it had coverage for my entire team. 😶
Another “fixing” video idea could be fixing all the rivals! Idk if that’s too many teams for 1 video, but i think it could be fun. Something I like about your videos is you don’t disregard the character’s personality. Since we usually get more character building from rivals but no specific type limitation, you’d only be limited to pokemon/strategies it feels like they would use based on their personalities. Cutesy, smart, underrated, quiet, etc. Could lead to fun character inspired competitive strategies, brainstorming how this type of character would approach a battle.
Two things: 1) phantom force can’t be exploited too much bc it hits through protect. Only if you have a normal type. 2) mega gardevoir might be better with hyper voice, yeah?
Mega Altaria being completely forgotten despite Drasna literally having an Altaria on her team hurts my heart. I also get that we’re only using X/Y megas but the Latis got a mention.
I love the addition of Furfrou in Diantha's team! and would be super excited to see a "Fixing Evil Teams" video. A lot of them are such missed opportunites like how none of Flare's pokemon are "beautiful" or "fashionable".
Makes me realise how wasted furfrou wasnt their grunts base mons. Like imagine just getting to fight a bunch of different furfrou forms because they are rich kids and their pokemon has to be beautiful over being useful.
A couple of observations: 1) Please give Starmie and Noivern a real abilities. Natural Cure and Infiltrator are not oppressive but do something. 2) Sturdy and Brave Bird clash too much for me, if we need to stay in the limits of Gen 6, I would settle for Drill Peck. 3) I would mix together X/Y and ORAS, to open up more mega options and give Gardevoir Hyper Voice. Have you noticed I have a fixation on optimizing abilities? 😅 For the rest, it's a very well made video. It has some realistic changes that could had totally been there if X/Y wasn't a rushed production, and still allows for normal play styles to work. And I appreciate that your comment addressing is less mocking then a lot of other TH-camrs. I like videos that don't constantly insult me. 🙏🏻
Those are literally the best abilities for Starmie and noivern tho 😭 Illuminate literally does NOTHING in battle, and Starmies speed stat is too high for it to make good use of analytic, and even if you do move first it’ll be a K.O. On Starmie so it’s pointless. As for Noivern, what good does frisk do for an NPC? And telepathy is strictly for doubles. And as for skarmory, yeah brave bird + sturdy might not be the best set up but turn one will be set on breaking sturdy so it works as a final gambit move. Keen eye is just… not good and weak armor does skarmory no good because if it’s only gonna survive two turns at most with sturdy then it’s definitely only going to survive two turns with weak armor and its speed is so slow it won’t even get do something with a speed boost.
You did an awesome job! Funny story, my friend was just talking about tweaking Diantha's team to be more thematic and challenging for her story, the other day. I think you did an excellent job with it! And yes, I'd love to see a video fixing the villains' teams!
Part of me really wants to say Malamar should be on Lysandre's team and Diantha should get either Florges or a non Gen 6 pokemon to help round out her types.
Each of Diantha's pokemon do not share the same Pokedex color as each other, making her team a rainbow of colors. In addition, each of them has 1 of the 6 stats as their highest stat. They also represent different movie genres. Blue, HP = Aurorus (Sci-Fi) Red, Attack = Tyrantrum (also Sci-Fi) Brown, Defense = Gourgeist (Horror and Supernatural) White, Special Attack = Gardevoir (Romance) Purple, Special Defense = Goodra (Fantasy) Green, Speed = Hawlucha (Action)
Really fun video. With this video and the gym leader one you’ve shown that only small tweaks were needed to make these games a little more challenging. That being said I’d keep Hawlucha on her team since each member is supposed to represent different movie genres
You did a great job fixing the teams of the Gym Leaders and the Kalos Elite Four. I loved that you included Tyrantrum in Drasna's team, and Furfrou and Malamar in Diantha's team. In my case I would have included Garchomp in Drasna's team as its Mega Evolution. I understand that Drasna is originally from Sinnoh region and Garchomp would be a good reference to it, at least that's what I think.
The pathetic difficulty problem of gen 6 lies, in my opinion, in that the player recieves multible megas with legendary stats at the beginning of the midgame, then goes on to face mediocre opposition at best (well done fixing that in the gym leader video). Then at the endgame the player faces solid to even good oppostition. The problem is that their pokemon with legendary stats also have 70+ evs in every stat at this point. The player simply outstats everything with a 100 at worst but most of the times a 200-300 gap and kills everything. This problem is always present but by far the most apparent with a access to megas. By giving everyone deserving teams, like in this video, good job, the biggest part is done. I would always suggest giving all pokemon in every elite four 40 evs in all stats and their ace 50. All champion mons get 50 evs in all stats and the ace gets 60. It dissapoints me that the pokemon comp. has given trainers max competitive evs multible times but never thought to use evs in smaller amounts to modify stats however necessary or wanted. In battle a pokemon is its stats, typing, ability and moves. The 1st or 2nd biggest fourth of a pokemon in battle is almost never utilized or experimented with. I personally would love to see a elite four, where every mon gets max evs in health and half of max evs in both defences. Would make it feel a little like the anime, with pokemon surviving hits they have no buisness tanking and getting as many chances as possible to pull as much bullsht as possible on the player.
Adding Houndoom, Lanturn, Skarmory, and Ampharos to the Kalos Elite Four teams is a great idea. However, I would keep Tyrantrum on Diantha's team and replace Druddigon with Kingdra. The only change I would make to Diantha's team is replacing Gourgeist with Malamar.
4:50 Nothing much to say about Malva: solid team, nice movesets, great Mega; approved! 😊 7:45 I think Starmie should have Natural Cure > Illuminate for... oblivious reasons. As for the Mega... I'm genuinely in between: on one hand, Mega Blastoise would feel redundant alongside Clawitzer (and would force Lanturn to go out); on the other one, Mega Gyarados fits way much better for Lysandre to take him away: if this change is really needed, than the only real alternative for him MUST be Mega Tyranitar, no debating! 😤 10:15 Having Brave Bird on a Sturdy Skarmory feels risky, even with Roost as recovery; better Drill Peck, at that point. Also, how could you forget Scizor's best Technician coverage in... Rock Smash?! 😂 13:50 Despite your reasoning, I still think Mega Garchomp shouldn't have been discarded so easily: after all, Drasna comes from Sinnoh, so it wouldn't have been absurd giving him to her as well! As for Tyrantrum, I don't have a problem about it (any other Dragon type left is the ace of another Dragon specialist), but I'd have swapped him with Goodra if Mega Garchomp was picked instead. The rest is fine... except Frisk on Noivern: Infiltrator is just better! 😅 19:10 The inclusion of Furfrou is actually pretty interesting, and it'd be funny if, every time you battle her, it'll be showed with a different haircut just to show her "gimmick" 😂 However, I can't say the same for Malamar: it's probably just me, but that Pokémon has "evil" written all over to include him in her or Olympia's team (at least in Story Mode); instead, I'd suggest Pangoro (or even Zoroark, but I wanted to stay within Gen 6) as his replacement: I guess I just find him cooler 😅 The rest is fine; approved! 😊 Overall, you did a great job, OKreations; can't wait for your next "fix" video. See ya!~ ❤💖
I liked your choices, I would only make a few changes: Siebold: Clawitzer - Pelipper - Kingdra - Barbaracle - Mega Blastoise Drasna: Dragalge - Altaria - Haxurus - Noivern - Mega Garchomp Diantha: Nidoqueen - Starmie - Florges (White Flower) - Gourgeist - Goodra - Mega Gardevoir
I remember having a really easy time with the Elite 4 in Pokemon X and Y all because I had a Slyveon in my party! While the fairy types are nice I felt very bad for Dragon type pokemon! They shouldn't have that big of a weakness against Fairy types so I felt bad when I steamrolled a dragon trainer. I am also surprised that you didn't give another Pokemon Volt Switch for Wikstrom so maybe Skarmory could use it instead of Whirlwind? Thank you for the video! I would love to see you fix Team Flare's Pokemon Teams they really need a make over!
Hey thanks for the comment! I agree fairy goes hard into this e4, I like the whirlwind angle to help rack up spikes damage that klefki lays down earlier, but another volt switch could be fun somewhere, I’m not sure if skarmory gets it or not though
Definitely give Siebold Mega Blastoise and let Lysandre keep Mega Gyarados. Like you said, Siebold uses Mega Blastoise in the anime, and we can make Lysandre's Mega Gyarados shiny like it is in the anime to fit him more. Drasna also uses a Mega Altaria in the anime, so that would work better there.
Main issues with the team building composition for Kalos. I can name several of them. First and foremost is Gardevoir's move set. Mega Gardevoir has the ability Pixilate and literally not one of its moves in the vanilla games is a Normal type move. Pixilate makes Normal moves become Fairy while in battle. So Echoed Voice or even Hyper Voice would've benefitted from the ability. Secondly is Siebold's team composition. Starmie has an ability that's actually useless in battle. So that should change to Natural Cure, which is one of its other vanilla abilities. Plus there's the Mega Blastoise debacle. Flint of the Sinnoh Elite Four has an Infernape and it's a starter Pokémon. Plus Mega Gyarados is more suited for Lysandre as it is technically considered a villainous Pokémon due to it being Dark typed. Next is Drasna. While Ampharos is a good idea, I feel that Charizard is more suited for her. It has a Dragon form in Mega Charizard X and gets Dragon moves by TM. Also, I personally feel that keeping Drasna's Druddigon on her team while giving it a Rocky Helmet to compliment its Rough Skin ability is a better move. Plus Noivern should have Infiltrator for an ability rather than Frisk as the latter checks for items on the opposing team and the player doesn't utilize Hold items most of the time. What about Malva? Giving her Houndoom is a good idea but adding Solar Beam to its move pool can benefit the Sunny Day and Solar Power strategy she might possibly have. Plus, giving her Torkoal the White Herb is a good idea. It reversed Curse's effect. For Diantha's team, she should have most of her team replaced with new Pokémon. Hawlucha should be replaced with Furfrou, Tyrantrum should be replaced with Malamar and Aurorus should be replaced with Lapras. I personally feel that other than Steven and maybe Lance due to the latter not having very many options in his own region as far as typing specialty goes, no Pokémon League Champion should have a single Fossil Pokémon in his or her team. Steven's father owns a building in Rustboro City that resurrects fossils. So Steven gets a pass on having Fossil Pokémon as options. You could also replace Gourgeist with Carbink as it represents a gemstone and it can be encountered in Reflection Cave. Other than that, very good video.
16:26 I disagree on this. Team Flare's Xerosic had a Malamar as his ace, and it fit very well thematically that the cunning scientist behind the ultimate weapon (or at least being heavily involved) would have it
I don’t think that was shown until the post game, but I guess it does still count, I could see your argument in how it fits better on an evil team tho!
I really disagree and think Siebold should have Mega Blastoise. Yeah, Sycamore uses one but he doesn’t Mega evolve it and I just think Lysander is just too tied to Mega Gyarados.
I would love to see a mod with these changes as well as the gym leader changes! Maybe some slight tweaks to trainer battles to match the vibe, but these changes are a good mix of difficulty without being insanely hard, they’d make for a good way to get into the modding community!
I believe Diantha’s team is meant to represent each Pokémon stat, as well as different movie genres. But her new team I feel could still fit the actor thing as well. Furfrou being able to fill different roles, and Malamar playing the villain
That's mostly due from his team being the only competent one made. Like I was running through this game after Grant and then Seibold came in and stopped my E4 play
Where can I see this video of playing through kalos with only Gen 6 mons? I would def like to see that. Great content in this video btw. Thanks for taking the time to go over the elite four teams and upgrading them 😁
New subscriber here. Love the stuff. I am all for an evil team video. I've always had an idea on how I would fix Cyrus (my favorite team leader battle-wise and story-wise), and Team Aqua and Team Magma are desperate need of fixing.
With Pixilate and Refrigerate the normal type moves get 1,3 power more (1,2 after Gen 7), giving Gardevoir Hyper Voice would be a stronger choice than Moonblast, and it would actually make use of its ability! :)
Great video. If Wikstrom was in gen 8, I would 100% give him a Corviknight on his team. Also speaking of him, I'd replace X-Scissor on his Scizor with Bug Bite to have another STAB move powered up by Technician.

Silly fun fact, on my first Kalos playthough um.... turns out my entire team was vulnerable to Mega Gardevoir, so Diantha nearly swept my entire team, and I only won through spamming dig on Garchomp. Do not ask how that worked because to this day I still don't know
Siebold's Starmie should have Natural Cure or its Hidden Ability Analytic, since Illuminate is completely useless in battle in this Gen. And trainers are actually programmed to switch out if a Pokémon with Natural Cure is asleep.
Analytic would be pointless on Starmie, since the boost applies only if it attacks last (and it has 115 in Speed, so...); Natural Cure is the only real option, imho
@@seamus5979 Ok, but it'd still be situational: if I'm aware of what move Starmie is going to use, I could counter it with a switch on an "immune" pokémon and waste its Analytic; meanwhile, Natural Cure will be "alive" the moment Starmie will get statused; besides, you'll play Life Orb Starmie most of the time, so that extra boost isn't that relevant compared to a garanteed status heal
If Propobass had Stealth Rocks, you'd have Wikstrom be really punishing on switch-ins. It's guaranteed to get it off thanks to sturdy, and if Klefki got Spikes in, a Spinner becomes really valuable. Mix in Sandstorm and Wikstrom becomes a Knight standing against the storm
I like the fact that the Kalos Elite Four is unique in that one of their members is also a former Team Flare member, but I also don't like the fact all of the Kalos Elite Four and a majority of the Gym Leaders after Korrina, and to the extent the Rivals after the 5th Gym, don't have a Mega Evolution. You want to flex a new mechanic? Make sure it isn't stuck to specific Pokemon or give the important trainers one of those specific Pokemon. Honestly I do agree with a majority of the changes to these teams, only changes I'd personally make to X/Y Teams overall are (Just gonna say it now, I'd do be wanting a Pokemon Evil Teams list of updated Teams for all the major baddies up to Gen 6): - Give Grant a Barbaracle as an Ace (I know it's a bit strong, but it's a Rock/Water Type, you'd be able to find plenty of Pokemon by the time you'd fight Grant for that NOT to be an issue. On top of that its Gen 6 Lv. Up Moveset is not really an issue, especially since it doesn't get Fury Cutter until Lv. 37.) - Have every Gym Leader have at least 1 extra Pokemon on their Team (Wulfric gets 2 because why not), and a majority of the Gym Leaders after Korrina, as well as the Elite Four have their own Mega Evolutions (Probably not Ramos, but depends on the person. Also, it's kind ridiculous that almost none of the major battles use the mechanic at all.). - Siebold's Ace being Blastoise and Wikstrom's being Aggron. (Siebold's not only because of the anime, but he's a chef, so it would be fitting to have turtle soup on his menu lol. Wikstrom's because it not only turns into a pure Steel Type, but it also looks knightly enough for the man. Scizor's also a nice pick because its an already established Pokemon on his team, but I'd honestly prefer if it wasn't the obvious choice.) - Last but certainly not least, changing Diantha's Team (Whether it be composition or just overall moveset) because whilst she does follow similar patterns to Steven Stone in that she has solely Pokemon of her Region, plus the 2 Fossil Mons, and a Psuedo Legend, her Team just dies to 3 different Types. We called her the worst Champion before Geeta, but to be fair to Geeta, she legitimately forgot to bring her A-Game Team for the Champion Battle. Though I would also have the replacements stick in line with her secondary theming, all of her Pokemon are not only differently colored Pokemon, but they also have a different strongest stat (Hawlucha is Green and its highest is speed, Tyrantrum is Red/Attack. Aurorus is Blue/HP, Gourgeist is Brown/Defense, Goodra is Purple/Special Defense, and Gardevoir is White/Special Attack). I do agree she needs to be more on the Lysandre contrast side, but also sticking in line with her secondary theming. To reiterate: I do enjoy the changes you thought would make the Teams overall better, and I can respect them. I just have my own opinions about what could be a better Team for Diantha. (Much like how I personally think that Clair should've probably had a Feraligatr on her Team and replaced one of her Dragonair for a Seadra, making her seem more like a Water specialist instead of Dragon to throw off the player, not by much, but slightly.)
I don’t think that Aegislash should have Shadow Sneak as its Ghost STAB, simply because it will put it in its defensively weak Attack form before the player’s Pokémon gets the chance to attack.
Also, Tyrantrum should have Rock Head if it’s running Head Smash imo (since Strong Jaw doesn’t boost either of its STAB moves and Head Smash recoil is brutal).
I really like your approach here! Like everyone has said, it's frustrating that the Kalos Elite Four didn't have Mega Evolution - like why did it get introduced if only the player and villain would use it? I know they wanted to make XY easier for new players but I feel like that was such a missed opportunity. Would love to see your take on the rivals or villain teams!
Would love to one day see an Elite Four centred around things other than a single type. Like a Trick Room team, or a team centred around a certain Terrain Also i wanna see you go all out on an Elite Four one day. Balance it for a custom ROM hack thats designed to be cruel. Hack the fight so Trick Room, Sun or even Toxic Spikes is permanently up from Turn 0 (or until the player overwrites it

@@nickdentoom1173 One of the Kanto starters could go to the Rival, if you want representation there, and Sycamore could Mega the third one.
it feels a bit weird having team FLAREs leader have a water type mega though. i think mega blaziken or aggron would fit much better
@@Sam20309 Mega T-Tar would have been the best fit.
@@Sam20309 I get what you mean, but I feel like team names are rarely indicative of what the team uses. Team Aqua and Magma only use one type tied to their name, Team Galactic doesn't only use space themed Pokémon, etc.
I admit I was skeptical of the Dianthia changes but you nailed it thematically.
Thanks dood!
If youre using Mega Houndoom, you should slap solarbeam on there because of the sun.
That would be super fun! I like that idea
Two things: 1) phantom force can’t be exploited too much bc it hits through protect. Only if you have a normal type. 2) mega gardevoir might be better with hyper voice, yeah?
Rip your comment got copied by a bot

I personally wouldn't be so restrictive on ORAS move tutor moves since Lysandre's Gyarados uses Outrage and Iron Head already
I think fixing the Galar Gym Leaders would be a good one. Good vídeo!
Hey I think so too! Thanks!
Mega Altaria being completely forgotten despite Drasna literally having an Altaria on her team hurts my heart. I also get that we’re only using X/Y megas but the Latis got a mention.
Mega Altaria is only in ORAS! Latias/Latios were introduced in X and Y
Two words: mega evolutions
Trooooo
Seriously, even tho I love XY I was disappointed by the lack of mega evolution from pretty much every major trainer
Yeahhhh exactly
Hard agree
To be fair, I would absolutely be okay with Seibold having Mega Blastoise just on the fact that in Gen 4 Flint had an Infernape.
That’s a fair point!
And Gardenia had a Turtwig
I love the addition of Furfrou in Diantha's team! and would be super excited to see a "Fixing Evil Teams" video. A lot of them are such missed opportunites like how none of Flare's pokemon are "beautiful" or "fashionable".
Agreed, he needs the first pokemon with a bustier: Mega Jynx
Makes me realise how wasted furfrou wasnt their grunts base mons.
Like imagine just getting to fight a bunch of different furfrou forms because they are rich kids and their pokemon has to be beautiful over being useful.
A couple of observations:
1) Please give Starmie and Noivern a real abilities.
For the rest, it's a very well made video. It has some realistic changes that could had totally been there if X/Y wasn't a rushed production, and still allows for normal play styles to work.
And I appreciate that your comment addressing is less mocking then a lot of other TH-camrs.
I like videos that don't constantly insult me. 🙏🏻
They could have added hidden abilities in a update
You like abilities so much but forgot that Dragalge has adaptability and it should have it in the fight imo

You did an awesome job! Funny story, my friend was just talking about tweaking Diantha's team to be more thematic and challenging for her story, the other day. I think you did an excellent job with it!
And yes, I'd love to see a video fixing the villains' teams!
Thanks so much! Appreciate the feedback! Sounds good
I would definitely love a video only focused on the villains
Game Freak should have prioritized Generation Six out of every other regions with the Mega Evolution forms. Imagine Lysander with a Mega Pyroar? 🤯
I honestly thought Diantha's team was just really similar but weaker than Steven's team until someone in the comments said its based on movie genres
Diantha sets the screens to early to actually protect her gardivoir, if gooy and dino swap places she is much more threatening
Part of me really wants to say Malamar should be on Lysandre's team and Diantha should get either Florges or a non Gen 6 pokemon to help round out her types.
That’s a good idea!
Each of Diantha's pokemon do not share the same Pokedex color as each other, making her team a rainbow of colors. In addition, each of them has 1 of the 6 stats as their highest stat. They also represent different movie genres.
Blue, HP = Aurorus (Sci-Fi)
Red, Attack = Tyrantrum (also Sci-Fi)
Brown, Defense = Gourgeist (Horror and Supernatural)
White, Special Attack = Gardevoir (Romance)
Purple, Special Defense = Goodra (Fantasy)
Green, Speed = Hawlucha (Action)
Not giving malva a drought torkoal physically hurts me
Really fun video. With this video and the gym leader one you’ve shown that only small tweaks were needed to make these games a little more challenging. That being said I’d keep Hawlucha on her team since each member is supposed to represent different movie genres
Ahhhhh that’s cool! Don’t know how I missed that
@@OKreations it’s something that you can easily miss I didn’t even know about it until a couple of months ago lol
I 1000% agree with Furfrou on the champion team, awesome pick! Love that dog
Thanks so much dood!
Ah nice idea! Thanks so much!
Lysandre can still use a mega Gyarados if you give him the shiny one
Awesome video, I wish Torkoal had Drought and Starmie had Natural Cure, but still a great analysis!!!
Great catches! I appreciate it a lot!
As an actress I can see her using a luchador the connection being that they are both performance arts
I think the only change I would make to diantha’s fixed team would be changing moonblast for hyper voice to take advantage of pixilate
Fair point!
I’m on an alt, but from one content creator to another this is a really well designed thumbnail! May your channel continue to grow!
Thanks so much dood! I appreciate the feedback, always looking to improve
7:45 I think Starmie should have Natural Cure > Illuminate for... oblivious reasons. 😤
10:15 Having Brave Bird on a Sturdy Skarmory feels risky, even with Roost as recovery; better Drill Peck, at that point. Also, how could you forget Scizor's best Technician coverage in... Rock Smash?! 😂
13:50 Despite your reasoning, I still think Mega Garchomp shouldn't have been discarded so easily: after all, Drasna comes from Sinnoh, so it wouldn't have been absurd giving him to her as well! 😅
19:10 The inclusion of Furfrou is actually pretty interesting, and it'd be funny if, every time you battle her, it'll be showed with a different haircut just to show her "gimmick" 😂 However, I can't say the same for Malamar: it's probably just me, but that Pokémon has "evil" written all over to include him in her or Olympia's team (at least in Story Mode); instead, I'd suggest Pangoro (or even Zoroark, but I wanted to stay within Gen 6) as his replacement: I guess I just find him cooler 😅 The rest is fine; approved! 😊
Overall, you did a great job, OKreations; can't wait for your next "fix" video. See ya!~ ❤💖
* Okcreations ramps up the kalos elite four *
The highly overleveled kalos player:
Proceeds to one-shoot every pokemon and sweep through their teams
Can’t really design anything around overleveling😩
I liked your choices, I would only make a few changes:
Siebold: Clawitzer - Pelipper - Kingdra - Barbaracle - Mega Blastoise
Drasna: Dragalge - Altaria - Haxurus - Noivern - Mega Garchomp
Diantha: Nidoqueen - Starmie - Florges (White Flower) - Gourgeist - Goodra - Mega Gardevoir
all of these teams are a 10 outta 10! why hasn't this video gotten 1k likes yet?
Thanks so much dood!
Except Mega Altaria was introduced in ORAS
@@crazychristopher1989 I’m aware but in a theoretical third version that increases difficulty like the video is doing that wouldn’t be a problem.
I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that was hung up on her being an former flare admin😂😂
Other than that, very good video.
for diantha gardevoir could have hyper voice, just to make use of its signature ability, lovely video by the way
16:26 I disagree on this.
Fair enough!
These videos cure my depression great job buddy
You love to hear it, thanks dood!
Talonflame in particular getting its hidden ability makes sense... because for some reason your rival's Fletchling has it.
And only after you beat their mega, they will send out their ace! That's wild bro! 😂
the furfrou double battle below the mansion is a major battle
Seibold has always given me a hard time.
That's mostly due from his team being the only competent one made. Like I was running through this game after Grant and then Seibold came in and stopped my E4 play
Siebold cooked so hard with his team that GameFreak felt obligated to make him a chef.
Sue old is the only one that has ever given me trouble. If you let his Gyrados set up you are cooked.

Great video. If Wikstrom was in gen 8, I would 100% give him a Corviknight on his team. Also speaking of him, I'd replace X-Scissor on his Scizor with Bug Bite to have another STAB move powered up by Technician.
Scizor getting Bug Bite is only available in ORAS through a move tutor, it's not available as a move in XY

Analytic would be pointless on Starmie, since the boost applies only if it attacks last (and it has 115 in Speed, so...); Natural Cure is the only real option, imho
well it would matter if people aren’t goobers playing on switch mode since the damage boost also applies when a pokemon is switched in
@@seamus5979 Ok, but it'd still be situational: if I'm aware of what move Starmie is going to use, I could counter it with a switch on an "immune" pokémon and waste its Analytic; meanwhile, Natural Cure will be "alive" the moment Starmie will get statused; besides, you'll play Life Orb Starmie most of the time, so that extra boost isn't that relevant compared to a garanteed status heal
Not making the ace a mega is a bold but extremely fun thing to do.
You thought you got rid of her strongest... But thats just second place.

Troooo, especially with Whirlwind
I like the fact that the Kalos Elite Four is unique in that one of their members is also a former Team Flare member, but I also don't like the fact all of the Kalos Elite Four and a majority of the Gym Leaders after Korrina, and to the extent the Rivals after the 5th Gym, don't have a Mega Evolution. You want to flex a new mechanic? Make sure it isn't stuck to specific Pokemon or give the important trainers one of those specific Pokemon. Honestly I do agree with a majority of the changes to these teams, only changes I'd personally make to X/Y Teams overall are (Just gonna say it now, I'd do be wanting a Pokemon Evil Teams list of updated Teams for all the major baddies up to Gen 6):
- Give Grant a Barbaracle as an Ace (I know it's a bit strong, but it's a Rock/Water Type, you'd be able to find plenty of Pokemon by the time you'd fight Grant for that NOT to be an issue. On top of that its Gen 6 Lv. Up Moveset is not really an issue, especially since it doesn't get Fury Cutter until Lv. 37.)
- Have every Gym Leader have at least 1 extra Pokemon on their Team (Wulfric gets 2 because why not), and a majority of the Gym Leaders after Korrina, as well as the Elite Four have their own Mega Evolutions (Probably not Ramos, but depends on the person.
Scizor's also a nice pick because its an already established Pokemon on his team, but I'd honestly prefer if it wasn't the obvious choice.)
- Last but certainly not least, changing Diantha's Team (Whether it be composition or just overall moveset) because whilst she does follow similar patterns to Steven Stone in that she has solely Pokemon of her Region, plus the 2 Fossil Mons, and a Psuedo Legend, her Team just dies to 3 different Types.
Excellent video as always
Appreciate it dood🫡
