    I have to say, as much as I would love to do the 8 player game, most of the game mechanics work so well in the 6 player. Thank you for the videos.

    RE Positioning House Rule: Assign each player a number and roll a D8 to determine who places their faction token where.
    Example: Roll a D8 and it lands on 6 which corresponds to Fremen. The person who is playing the Fremen then decides they want to place their token on the bottom of the board.
    Rinse and repeat until all factions are placed.
    Obviously once two spots are taken that aren't already printed on the board, the remaining printed spots must be taken.
    Another fun thing you could do is go around the board once all factions are placed and see if anyone wants to trade spots in a similar fashion that one would during game play. Trade spice, information, etc.

      Thanks for the comment and great ideas. I like the idea of of randomizing. Fun suggestion about the trading spots as a pre-start step. That is in tradition and spirit of the trade and negotiate style of the game. Great suggestions!
