Woh, I'm a 40K guy, and I've never heard of this game. Are the minis pre painted, or do you paint them yourself?

I also wanted to go back to the roots of RPGs to figure out how this was started and what it was like back then. I found myself driving into the same rabbit holes as you talked about in your video and I am still there really. Nice to see I am not alone in my exploration!

I love that there is a much recent conan painting video on YT. I pledged for the game in 2015 and unfortunately only played it twice but its one of my absolute favorites. I have painted some of the minis too. Watching this video makes me whatnl to get back into painting the rest of the box.

Hello, just got my pledge, and found your channel, quick question. When you spend an orb on a reroll is it that 1 orb for 1 die, or 1 orb for as many as you would like for that roll? Thanks again for all the content! I'll be working my way backwards through the seasons.

The mentak can't take 2 systems turn 1 until the upgrade stasis capsules. Did I miss this in an earlier video?

Bought a ton of this when it went under, been sitting in a box ever since.

CNP is Command Navigation Program which was the program Gaius Baltar created for the Colonial Fleet. Caprica Six put a backdoor in its code to allow the Cylons to hack any ship using it. It was uninstalled from surviving Mark VII vipers but they've given a card so you can play with and without the software which is neat!

The only expansions are ship ones which have different pilot cards in them. I believe Starbuck comes in a Viper Mk.II called "Starbuck's Viper" and a Cylon Raider, which has the yellow "STAR BUCK" written on the underside. I believe Ares Games had a lot more planned for the game but didn't hold onto the licence. I love the Mk.VII Viper, I got a bunch of both Viper variants when they announced the game was going out of production as I plan one day of doing a Galactica wing vs Pegasus wing fight like they were preparing to do in Season 2.

I honestly found this game better than x-wing back in the day. I had made a passable AI for the cylon ships, to allow solo/co-op play. You can still find it on boardgame geek I believe. The models were absolutely gorgeous, and amazing for pre-painted.

Great game, can still often find ships expansions. It's getting additional control panels that's the hurdle.

I don't understand this was not one of the 4 missions with this board....and in the magazine the picture is the bar map

Jesus christ, that overly detailed mat/cloth you put it on makes it a friggin' nightmare to try to make out where the map tiles are. It hurts my eyes. Why wouldn't you rather have something more basic underneath?
