Just one of my own personal pet peeves is when people make their ref sheef a lineless drawing wich is fine but it makes it hard to tell wether something is a pattern or an accessory
i really struggle to consistently draw a character consistently, so reference sheets help me to keep it fairly consistent (i don’t commission art, but it helps me a lot!)
Thank you 💕 I would def just make one and update it, maybe use more simple characters so they translate easier, or vice virsa make a really nice ref sheet for a complex character (if you have one) so it can be used for a while without needing to be changed
AHHH ITS ME ‼️‼️ I SEE MEEE On the real shit though these are amazing tips and I firmly stand by all of these 🫶 A note I personally would make is avoid putting any ref sheet on plain white backgrounds, if you aren't putting any like photo backgrounds or making your own simple one and want color make it some off time grey or something that's NOT WHITE, it makes it harder to get a clear look at the colours and its hard on the eyes. I've seen people put stuff on plain white for refs before and it's a pain to look at 💔
This video was really useful! My reference sheets aren't the best but now I know what to improve Btw, sign me up for the art raffle! I was already subscribed :3
