I have a problem how accurate it's when it comes to pass and switch lane for what I see on your video with the digital the actual view way farther than the original one
it is actually better in reference to my truck, if the vehicle is in view of the camera and a lane over, it is behind my truck. But I don't actually use my rear view mirror to change lanes when passing. I use the side mirrors since most of the time in my truck I am towing my 5th wheel. in regards to other vehicles, everyone has their own preference but this gives a much wider and clear view over the old mirror.
Had this for over 2 yrs now. This pos never records any more, all it does is constantly reboots until it fixes itself. The 3rd party Chinese app doesn't work either. Also the mirror keeps sagging. Do not buy this shit!

Could I use this with a standard factory camera? I would just have to rewire it.
no, this uses a HD-TVI camera, different than most cameras

I have had it a year, no issues, still records app still works. No sagging, but I have never moved it since install.
Master Tailgaters suck! My mirror works when it wants to. The app dont even work any more and the mirror keeps sagging
