I saw the notification for this video while I was driving, I got too excited and crashed my car. I survived 12 hours of lifesaving surgery due to this video giving me the strength to live. Thank you Kiwi for saving my life.
Spirit temple doesn't require the quest, but does require the paraglider for some reason?? I can't even fathom why that's the case. I totally stumbled on because I was drawn in by that big black cloud screaming "Come explore me now!" Got in no problem, did lightning temple afterward, and found out when later doing the quest that I had inadvertently done a sequence break. Made the quest a whole lot less impactful but discovering a fifth temple by complete accident was so memorable!
Random fact: I did actually get onto the thundercloud island blind on my first (and only) playthrough. Once I got there I wandered around a bit, realized I couldn't get rid of the cloud cover from there, and looked up what quest line I missed for that so I could do it properly. Getting the Spirit Mech was probably my highlight of the entire game.
You’re less stubborn than I am. I blindly fumbled my way through the storm, following the shrine sensor all the way to Dragonhead. Mineru was my third Sage after Tulin and Riju.
I didn't even know there WAS a quest until several weeks after I'd beaten the Spirit Temple. I was like 'oh, cool, this area is all foggy. That's awesome.' and I just went forward to Dragonhead Island. I wish Tears had stuff like that in every area. It'd make playing through so much more varied and interesting.
Link climbing up a falling rock while literally on fire is the most metal thing im going to see for the rest of the day algo feed algo feed (i have not played totk yet but this series is very fun)
I got onto the thundercloud isles blind on my first and current playthrough (started a couple months ago). Ended up opening the spirit temple on accident by blind navigation and looking at the map to see the faint outline of the isles through the clouds. It was fun, 4/10
i actually did go straight to thunderhead isles by accident in my first totk playthrough; i sped through purahs dialogue after the puppet ganon fight in hyrule castle and missed where i was supposed to go, and i noticed an area in the sky i hadnt explored and found it+ navigated blindly to minerus mask
im excited for the next pokemon one and any new games these are pretty fun to watch even if i never play the game before they are really interesting to watch and calming
22:41 I am one of those people who did the spirit temple without all of those steps. I didn't even know it was possible to get rid of the fog until after I beat almost everything else. I just stumbled upon the place with the mask by flying there with some zonai machines.
I feel like there could be some arguement for special fused arrows so you could do the other two temples, but still other loving this dumb challenge. have fun learning to damage cancel throw against dragon gannon.
22:45 "Rather unlikely that people would just stumble across this" ABOUT THAT- I went into TOTK completely blind and decided to focus on side quests and exploration before completing any of the main story. As such, I avoided the four main temples like the plague. The issue? I didn't realize that the Spirit Temple was part of the main story until AFTER I had already completed it. ...So I ended up completing the "last" temple first 😅
Fun fact about the Spirit Temple, it's 100% possible juat to stumble across the Construct Factory and the Temple in the Depths without doing everything else. This happened to me my first playthrough early on and spoiled more than half the plot for me 😭
It would have been funny if a spear fused with a kings scale counted for that droplet, but wouldnt have mattered as i think zora armor is required to have access to the lake bottom area.
You can have a bit of an easier time getting to dragonhead island. There's a waterfall with a sky rock right below it that will bring you directly there. You can actually skip the heart door too by ascending through the floor below, which matters for my personal approach of never having more than 3 hearts.
20:16 If you were going to make a hoverbike anyway why didn't you do that as soon as you had 2 (or 3 [or 4]) FallingRockWithFan's close by (stuck together or not) instead of going over to solid land? Maybe there is some mechanic where you can't autobuild an object while on an autobuilt object? I haven't tried that meself.

I think it's trailer 2 EDIT: STRIKE THAT. It's trailer 1 and about 55 seconds in. I said ascend, but I meant rewind. The rewind rubble in trailer 1 55-seconds in takes you right to the mask on thunderhead isles.
@@KillerKiwi1642 - Do you mean explorer or expert because you have to be an expert to know EVERYTHING about TotK. Explorers make new discoveries and you've discovered plenty. If you do any more challenge runs, think of the comments as local intellIgence from NPCs.
(Don't have the game) Can you attach an arrow to a stick to get a arrowpike (don't know if swinging it counts as shooting it) (Also I'm going to watch the first one again, if you said arrows can't be fused then I'll know)
This series could be much more interesting if not for the unnecessary 'no paraglider' restrictions. It was intriguing before the dialogue with Purah. Seriously, it all just comes down to finding solutions around this main problem. Everything else becomes meaningless.
Though I will say it is a bit of a shame that the challenge did devolve into no bow and no paraglider, hopefully I can come up with something cooler for my next challenge run whatever that may be..
At least you could use the Glider set to make some parts more convenient. In the end, from my perspective, this kind of series is all about finding clever solutions, not about enforcing strict and rigid restrictions. Like that beasty fire-hydrant-truck you made. That was clever and entertaining. Still, you could remove restrictions for the impossible parts, just for those sections, to open up opportunities for other intriguing possibilities. I think you could follow up this series with an epilogue episode where you aren't so tightly restrictive.

If I remember correctly, the spots you need to hit on dragon ganon negate your fall damage, and you can land there just fine with no paraglider
