One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is that when it comes to swimming up waterfalls, Link literally can't unless he wears the Zora Tunic. It's specifically created to let Hylians swim up waterfalls like the Zora do naturally. Therefore Link isn't really swimming up the waterfall, so much as he's basically just being propelled up the falls by the tunic.
What's with the bird wanting to eat poultry being so weird? You do know that's like asking why would a wolf want to eat beef? IRL hawks eat smaller birds all the time.
As far as number 19 goes, Gloom sickness straight from the main source making him, well, sick. The Heart containers/Stamina containers are helping heal the sickness. Link is hearty (as shown by the fact that lesser gloom sickness, which is crippling for normal hylians, is something just standing in daylight or moonlight can be overcome by Link) but Ganondorf's attacks can still inflict this super-gloom in the final fight.
Dude, birds eat other birds all the time, the Rito aren’t any different just because they’re intelligent. Speaking of the Rito, that fireplace isn’t exposed, it’s in an actual firebed surrounded by wrought iron; that is the single safest fire in the game.
Agreed on both counts. Drakenwild mentioned how the fire was smart design when covering Rito defenses. And the Rito are raptors (birds of prey) as evidenced by their beak shape. Predatory birds do, indeed, eat other birds. Birds are a taxonomic class comparable to mammals. They're no more cannibalistic than a human who eats beef and pork.
4:46 The bomb blocking shield thing is also a trait in Minecraft. As in you can block five hundred TNT explosions and it'll never lose durability, yet if you block an attack with it, it actually does its job the way it was coded. And it can even successfully block explosions even from behind you which also makes no sense because the same doesn't apply to attacks from living entities like witches. (And yes, I know a shield is completely useles against witches because they only throw potions as their attacks, I'm just using them as an example of sentient entities) The same can also be said for potions because similar to skipping a whole day in Zelda without the potion running out, skipping the night in Minecraft by sleeping has the same effect. Campfires also have the same correlation of not being able to burn wooden surfaces and flammable structures that the other things have with their own similarities
20:10 Yes. There are birds that eat other birds. Like chickens eat their own kind when they see a dead one. Big birds like eagles or hawks eat smaller birds. Vultures eat anything dead, but that's a deferent story.
