The difficult gen 6 Pokemon is Noivern (based on the cry at the end). It’s so difficult because it isn’t available until after the Team Flare Plot is done and you have to catch Xerneas/Yveltal during that. Noibat/Noivern are definitely before them. (Also requires 400 candies in Go to evolve Noibat so that’s a pain)

im glad you got pokemon go into this challange. ive been playing the game off and on since its release but honestly over the last year got really into it and actually enjoying playing. some of the decision by the developers have been not the best but as a person who doesnt spend money on the game still have been able to have fun and become a part of my day almost every day that i look forward to

that basically confirms that Gen 5 actually break the chain starting from BW onwards, it’s kinda difficult to catch every Pokémon in the correct dex order Victini, Escavalier, all the Mythicals, man I can’t wait to see how you manage to get Noibat in XY as Terminus Cave only available after you caught the box art legendary
When it comes to mythical pokemon that you get from Pokemon Go quests, such as Victini or Meloetta, the ball type nor berries matter because it's coded so that once you hit it thrice, it catches. It can't be caught in less than three and won't break out of the third
This is such a fun series, I'm glad you were able to come up with solutions for the trickier pokemon. I'll be excited for the next installment, but whatever you have up for us in the meantime I'm sure will be worth checking out too
What could be so tough about Gen 6? Looking through, the only special requirements other than (probably) non-postgame trade evo items are Pancham needing a Dark type in the party, which Greninja covers, and needing to hold the console…upsi…oh…

@@PeterCaptainObvious that... is a problem. you cannot catch the doggos before eternatus, and the game VERY MUCH forces the eternatus capture. if you dont have a ball, the game gives you one. even more, iirc pre eternatus only 31 boxes are available, so you cant even fill up all your boxes to prevent capture because there is a hidden box to prevent the exact thing you are doing until pokemon go makes the doggos happen eternatus is where the run dies

You could have started b2w2, the static Volcarona is much earlier there. Like, it's level 35ish, earlier. Similarly, the Swords of Justice show up in b2w2 on the main path, though I'm not sure they're in order.

I was sure Tynamo evolved directly into Eelektross and frankly Eelektrik doesn't even look real to me - is this a Mandela effect???
I'm struggling to figure out what will be so hard in gen 6. You played what sounds like a bird pokemon at the end, so looking at the list... I probably need to replay or rewatch the beginning of the game, but does it force you to catch a fletchling early on? Thus before you can get a bunnelby? Edit 1: I looked up the fletchling line cries and none of them are the one you played at the end. I was thinking before I made that theory that maybe it's to do with the fossils, but at this point I'm basically just gonna hunt down what cry it was to figure things out. Edit 2: No wonder I thought of the flying type and thus birds when I heard it, it's noivern's cry! ...But now I'm confused as to how noivern can cause such a problem? I'm going to look up it's location data. Edit 3: that... Yeah that does seem like a problem. All three of these locations are inaccessible via these rules, and none of the other mainline games you have access to yet can save you. ...Well you always have Pokemon Go..?

Mythical Pokemon in GO are guaranteed catches on the third throw, so even if you could change Pokeballs, it wouldn’t change anything
Yeah and it gives infinite pokeballs to catch them with (which is why there isn't a counter)

Well, Pokemon GO is the ultimate Cheat-Code here. You can get any Pokemon up to Gen 8, so the Chain can never be broken (exept for Gen 9 maybe)

there is actually a way to do this using Citra (I remember evolving Inkay in USUM) but it's a bit tricky

Those Pokémon haven't debuted yet in Go, and even then it'll probably only be available via raids which would make things more awkward
