      So?
      Some people don't want to Upgrade anything themselves, they just want to print.
      1) Has a lot of disadvantages and many people don't even want that?!
      2) Adds cost, most people don't even need it
      3)that point if by far the best of yours. But ... you don't need 32bit if you don't intend to print super fast.If you got a RPI just install Klipper and et voila: 32Bit.
      They got a Silent Board in the V2, that's an Upgrade to the super noisy Ender 3/3 Pro board already
      4)wtf.. why would they add a RPI.. get one yourself.. tell me a company that adds a RPI, especially in the budget range, wake up
      5) you realise that many people don't even want Touch Screen?
      They added a Glass Build Plate, that's great.
      I get your points, but saying "we wanted", blabla no. YOU want.
      Remember its a budget printer.
      Now get a Ender 3 and add all the things you listed on top of that price. You would be nowhere near 270$.
      But then you would probably complain that it's "waaay too expensive for an Ender 3" lmao

    I think they missed the mark on this. They could have skipped the glass bed, tensioners and extruder knob and added auto bed leveling and direct drive and they would of had a great upgrade. There’s nothing here that would make me want this printer over an original Ender 3.

    • @tahirballikaya213
      @tahirballikaya213 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think direct drive needs a dual z axis motor to work reliably. That's why they didn't want to do it. To keep it still cheap. If you want direct drive and autolevel then buy cr10 v3 it cost 300$ more. Your choice

    Here are some of my thoughts on this v2 version. Many of the “improvements” that I see (besides the new screen and thicker extrusion supports), can be purchased separately from various Creality dealers/resellers, as well as and many third party companies, or you can easily 3D print them yourself (like the PSU being relocated to the rear and laid flat so that it’s out of sight)... so (imo), you might be better off to just get the basic ender 3 or ender 3x, and then upgrade those models yourself. The most expensive thing would be the silent board, but you can find that easily on amazon for around $50. Anyway, I’ll bet the older models will become cheaper to buy because of this “new and improved” model.

  • @wiifreak911
    @wiifreak911 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    So they moved the power supply and included a touch screen.. not much inovation on the previous products in the series (ender 3, ender 3 pro).
    I'm not seeing anything that would improve on print quality.
    Would have expected upgrades they already offered on their website; BL touch (bed levelling), aluminum extruder, motor dampeners, capricorn tubing, stiff bed springs, etc.
    OR atleast community mods; like silent fans, more effecient heat sink on hot end, integrated rasberry pi.
    Swing and a miss boys.
    That said, my ender 3 pro is an oustanding product.
    No doubt this is an excellent 3d printer for < £200, I just expected more inovation than a 3d printed nob and a touchscreen [edit: it's not even a touchscreen.. ]

      @timthefinner 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mattnelsen6732 No, it should not. They probably have a lot of the old boards still on stock which end up in the Ender-3 Pro.
      Looking at the whole picture, you are better off buying a Ender-3 V2 at the given price of 269$ instead of making all the upgrades yourself. It's not a lot of difference in the $$, but in the time spent.

      You probably don't NEED a 3DPrinter in the first place :D
      If the bed is fucked up, then it doesnt matter how big the bed is really
      If you have to Manually Mesh Level your bed after every print(when taking off the flexible bed) that's no fun, so ABL simply makes life a little easier, no matter how big the plate :p

  • @steiner7990

    I think the Ender-3 V2 is an good option for people who don't want to mess around with a ton of upgrades.
    People say: "Just buy an Ender3 and upgrade it."
    Sure you can upgrade your Ender3 ending up buying a Silent-board, buying belt-tensioners, buying a filament-sensor, buying a glass plate and installing it all.
    But all that takes time not everybody has.
    Many people don't think about that the normal Ender-3 has a thinner Y-axis base, that means more frame "wobble" at higher print speeds.
    So the only printer which could compare in quality after all these upgrades is the Ender3-Pro.
    And nobody can tell me that it would be a good deal buying a ~220$ printer and paying around another 80$ when you can get the same features for around the same price out of the box.
    Only one thing bothers me, they should've went with a touchscreen instead of just using a colored display and still using this weird knob.
    That would let the Ender-3 V2 look much more premium.
    But I still think that all the features you get for only 289$ after release are incredible.
    Don't get me wrong, I have the Ender-3 Pro which I bought it in February this year I love this printer and I like upgrading it.
    But a new Ender3 means the older models will get cheaper over time.
    So if some people still consider buying an older model because it's maybe already good enough for them or they just like upgrading it by themselves... go for it.
    I definitely already know which printer will be my next one. And thats the V2

    is Motherboard 32 bit?

      I'd assume it's their Silent Board, which they sold separetly, so not 32-bit.
      But maybe I am wrong

    Im. Sorry but... I prefer the ender 3 normal version... Ender 3 its my litle baby and I can always upgrade it and its terrible that you dont put autolevel in the new one.... I prefer to keep my ender 3 and upgrade it with thingiverse... Thanks...

    Got an ender 3 new for Christmas, had an issue with installing bl touch, reached out to creality and was told because I didn't buy the printer they won't help me. This company is awful to work with. Avoid them

    All those upgrades are not worthwhile. It can be easily done by any DIY. Dey need to have upgraded to direct drive, auto bed leveling, 32bit board,

    Did you improve the HORRIBLE placement of the micro SD card slot????
    BETTER YET.............have you replaced this dreadful micro SD card slot with a USB flash drive slot. Right now the Ender 3 requires you to take a micro SD card, insert it in the USB reader, plug this into the computer, download the 3D file, remove the SD card and insert it into the 3D printer's micro SD slot. There are way too many steps and this is way too 'Fn' archaic.
    Creality ........get your heads out of the sand, improve this feature and get into the 21st century!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Still has the plastic extruder...why why why. Thats the biggest failure point of the ender 3 v1.

      I'm not denying your experience. I feed mine from the side that the extruder is on almost directly in line from the side and it so far has evaded any problems with the extruder.

    You do not need auto bed levelling on a printer this size, add one afterwards if you really want it, this one seems very nice, definitely going to buy one to add to my other Creality printers.
