I have a brand new battery but when I drained the power out of the system it fixed it I let the computer charge after I put everything back together was charging fine Let it charge for a few minutes and it turned off and went dead again

what specifically helped u? I also opened it up to clean the fan, did not even remove the fan, simply used a plastic toothpick to slowly remve the dust. Then I put everything back in but my Blade 14 2021 still not turning on.
I updated my drivers manually through NVIDIA which apparently you aren’t supposed to do. My Razer blade 15 won’t turn on now, I do get a white light if I hold the power button for 5-10 seconds though. Is there a way to uninstall the driver without the computer turning on?
No, unfortunately the computer would have to turn on in order to manipulate the software at all. Sounds like your on the correct video. Have you tried the steps seen here?
Appreciate the response. I tried all the steps that I was able to do, after some trouble shooting I decided to try connecting my bloated battery (been using my razer blade w/o the battery for a couple months now) and it turned on for a bit but shut off right after. I assume it shut off due to the battery not being able to hold a charge. Really strange that it won’t turn on without a battery. Anyways, I just ordered a new battery off Amazon and it’s coming tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix it and I can roll back the drivers. Will update for anyone dealing with this problem in the future. So the battery came in today and my razer blade works like normal now-but it still only works with the battery in. When I remove the battery, it won’t power on. The adapter works just fine, when I plug it in, it shows it’s charging. Do you have any idea why this might be happening? If not, no worries, I’m just glad it works now
@@rushplay314 Perhaps the charger is not working well. Do you plug it directly into the wall outlet or use it with a surge protector? I would try replacing the charger now
Thank you for sharing, I do have a problem still, I hope you can help me. Razer blade 15 advanced 2018 here. I tried the power draining without the battery, I am not able to get any life signal without the battery. When I plugged it back WITH BATTERY I got a green LED for 5 seconds and the keyboard lights up for like 2 seconds then everything shuts down. ----To notes on when the laptop died: 1. I was using it normally, with the charger plugged in but I suddenly got a low battery warning althoug it was plugged in. I unplugged and plugged it in again and kept using it although the battery was NOT charging while plugged in. I remember putting it to sleep mode and leaving it plugged in overnight in order for it to charge. It did not charge and since then I tried your video until it gave the 5 second life signal I just described. Do you have any other idea on what I can do to fix this? I have a razer blade 14 from 2017 and I can’t get it to power on no led when plugged in. It was working plugged in then all of a sudden it just shut off . Replace the battery and still nothing the cord does charge other things as well.
My razer laptop doesn’t turn on without the charger plugged in, but even then it doesn’t charge and operates on 0%. Since then, the laptop just feels slower and can’t run stuff such as games as well. Can’t tell if it’s a battery or charger issue or what not. What do you think bro?

Hi, I tried all steps but my razer 2020 is not starting, only sign of life is the white blinking when I keep the starting button pushed around 6/8 seconds. I also checked if power was going to usb by charging a smartwatch and it is OK, but when leaving the PC plugged to adapter it went incredibly hot even without turning on... Any ideas?

@PC_Monkey No, not really. It first showed problems with Bios. After changing cmos and drive, I noticed battery issues as it was draining on charge. Tried use without battery. It didn't switch off, but bios problems persisted. Now it's fine battery wise, but bios(UEFI) problems persist.... N.B: I think, I found the problem, PC is not compatible with windows 11

So ive done everything you said here. Best i get it its like it wants to boot up, the keyboard comes on, the laptop led comes on ( green). Keyboard goes out then the laptop light flicks on and off (green) a couple times, and i can hear the laptop like trying to turn on. Its razer blade 17 early 2020 model. RZ09 do you think i just need a new power block?
It does nothing when the battery is unplugged with power. Does nothing with battery plugged in with no power. Doing the ram test didnt seem to change anything. I did pull the cmos battery for about 5 minutes. Could the cmos battery be dead? Ive used this thing pretty heavily since i got it. I do leave it in hibernate most of the time while still plugged in.
If, after trying all the steps seen here multiple times, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at one of two possible issues. (1) The motherboard is bad and needs to be replaced. Let me know if you would like help finding a compatible motherboard. Or (2) there is another computer component, shorting out the motherboard and need to be replaced such as the power jack, USB board, Touchpad, etc. You would have to troubleshoot each of those individually but unhooking it from the motherboard and trying to turn the computer on. Let me know if you would like help with that operation.
Tried all these before, not working, this is not thr first time however this time it will not boot...just a white light while holding the power button from the battery indicator. First time The System Drain worked but IDK it may have been the update that broke it...

@@PC_Monkey Had someone look further at the board and there's a bit of corrosion that happened overtime because of my environment, and the IC chip (one of them) is not working, circuit is not closing? Does that sound feasible, and fixable? What can I do?
Update, it turned on after some weeks, however very slow, and seem to find something that is shorting out the keyboard, there is a chip just under the battery that gets so hot it's melting the coating on the battery. The GPU doesn't seem to be working either, but I was able to start it up.
I got my Razer blade 15 base 2019. Replaced battery 2nd time now. But when i charge it freezes the laptop. Need to do a hard reset while unplugged. If plugged in it does not boot. It Charges when the laptop is turned off. Help please😢😢😢

No not at all, but actually it is working now, there is a problem with the battery or adapter, i kind of have to lift the chord to a certain height to get it to charge. and I am also a kid which meant I couldn't do any of the removal and fixing but thank you very much for helping! this was actually very useful to watch. @@PC_Monkey
Hi! I loved your video, and I found your advice insightful! I'm hoping you can help me! I have a Razer Blade Stealth 13 and I am currently struggling with getting it to turn back on. I assumed that the battery needed a replacement, so I bought a new one (Rc30-0281) off Amazon, did a power drain, and tried to turn it back on, but it still does not work. My battery feels warm as I plug in the charger, so I know it's able to receive power. My charger is used for multiple devices so i know its not that either. Do you have any suggestions? Good video! Altho it doesn't work for me, I have a blade 14 2022, tried everything, still only have a blinking white light. Couldn't access the ram tho cuz it's inaccessible

@@PC_Monkey 1. Yes, it's only a blinking white light after 10 seconds and the 10 seconds after when holding the power button. 2. Nothing, I treat this laptop relatively good.
@@axelbaltazhar If, after trying all these steps multiple times, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard issue. I would start troubleshooting each component, starting with the charger and power jack. You can see those two videos here; th-cam.com/video/YBhsVHideGE/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/HpabvrNaodU/w-d-xo.html. You can also try replacing other components like your Power Button to see if that is the route cause. If none of those are the issue, you would then be left with a motherboard replacement.
Hey! So this helped me once several months ago and I’ve run into the same issue again and resetting battery/cmos is not working. It’s a 22 blade 14. Both times issue occurred was after it was left on usb c doc. White light flashes after holding on button but that’s the only sign of life I get.
@@PC_Monkey So the battery died and after I charged it the computer turned back on! How come removing the battery entirely did not have the same effect? I suppose there was more power to drain even after I removed the battery. What do you think?

Hey! I'm really happy to be able to find your channel! Recently I bought a RB 14" 17 from a second hand market. It came with a charger with the ROG logo, not Razer. I don't know if it's perfectly compatible or not but it does connect and charge. But the issue is, I keep getting random shutdowns and I don't know if it could be the charger's that the problem. If your batter is bad, it should be replaced. However, a laptop computer should still be able to turn on after a battery has been removed if the charger is plugged in. Does yours?

Hi, thanks for the video! I know there has been a while so I hope you are still reading comments. I have a question here. My Razer Blade 14 just not turning on one day out of the blue, black screen, no fan, just the green light flashing. It is out of warranty and I have another computer so I just leave it, and try to press the power button every now and then (without success). Months later, one day I try, it started up. It works OK for a few days and the issue arise again. Do you have any idea what is wrong? It is the model that I cannot remove the battery or the ram. can you suggest something can I check what the issue is? Thanks a lot in advance!

@@PC_Monkey reseating the DDR5 ram made the Laptop responsive enough to show more signs of life such as chimes, sounds, and return of my infrared camera still no video though. Next I’m going to try another troubleshoot regarding the elimination of symptoms by finding the root cause . Internally the hardware looks good and I have taken photos of almost everything

@@PC_Monkey no liquids or spills, no visual damage to the motherboard, i honestly am ashamed to admit that I removed some software from the Windows update in an attempt to roll it back I don’t have WiFi access on top of not having a display, but I know I have access to an Ethernet port on the side and a cable connected to the Ethernet network infrastructure. And the keyboard is responsive . I also have an external mouse

You tried the power drain multiple times as well as the BIOS reset multiple times? Also, did anything happen before this issue started? Liquid spill, overheating, a Windows update, etc?

I often see no bootable when I on it, and after changing to UEFI, it works, regardless of time and date

Sounds like you may need to replace the charger. Have you tried that? You can test it as seen here: th-cam.com/video/YBhsVHideGE/w-d-xo.html

@@PC_Monkey So the battery died and after I charged it the computer turned back on! How come removing the battery entirely did not have the same effect? I suppose there was more power to drain even after I removed the battery. What do you think?
@@Ricksxs hi, did your blade fixed? I got the same problem here with the same blade model (14 inch 2022), my blade keep on hibernate mode even after i turned it off (green led blinking slowly), i tried restart with 10 seconds press on power button until white led blink once, but still no progress

Hey! I'm really happy to be able to find your channel! Recently I bought a RB 14" 17 from a second hand market. It came with a charger with the ROG logo, not Razer. I don't know if it's perfectly compatible or not but it does connect and charge. But the issue is, I keep getting random shutdowns and I don't know if it could be the charger's that the problem. Can you help me?
I've checked the charger's specs and it's 150W, 19.5V and 7.7A

What if my battery is not good
If your batter is bad, it should be replaced. However, a laptop computer should still be able to turn on after a battery has been removed if the charger is plugged in. Does yours?

Hi, thanks for the video! I know there has been a while so I hope you are still reading comments. I have a question here.
My Razer Blade 14 just not turning on one day out of the blue, black screen, no fan, just the green light flashing. It is out of warranty and I have another computer so I just leave it, and try to press the power button every now and then (without success). Months later, one day I try, it started up. It works OK for a few days and the issue arise again. Do you have any idea what is wrong? It is the model that I cannot remove the battery or the ram. can you suggest something can I check what the issue is?

@@PC_Monkey reseating the DDR5 ram made the Laptop responsive enough to show more signs of life such as chimes, sounds, and return of my infrared camera still no video though. Next I’m going to try another troubleshoot regarding the elimination of symptoms by finding the root cause . Internally the hardware looks good and I have taken photos of almost everything

@@PC_Monkey no liquids or spills, no visual damage to the motherboard, i honestly am ashamed to admit that I removed some software from the Windows update in an attempt to roll it back
I don’t have WiFi access on top of not having a display, but I know I have access to an Ethernet port on the side and a cable connected to the Ethernet network infrastructure. And the keyboard is responsive . I also have an external mouse
