Good to hear you’re happy with the Turbo. I’ve read a lot of comments in Facebook groups and forums from many Turbo owners that share the same sentiment. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
I'll say it again, your Jeep looks amazing. Sarge Green is my favorite Wrangler color. I'm looking for a 21 - 22 Xtreme Recon with some specific options. Haven't found it yet. Looking patiently. Keep up the great videos
Thank you for the feedback. I'm happy with how that colour is looking too, but VERY happy with the improved handling over my 2018. Thanks again. Cheers.
Thanks for a great channel. Helped me get into my spankin'-new Rubicon last night. Waited 144 days for a stick and initial impressions coming from an old Fiesta are very good. Dunno what the old manual felt like but the post-recall one feels great.
Hey Erik, Thank you for the feedback on the channel. Much appreciated. That’s fantastic about the new Rubicon. Post-recall manual too! I’d love to hear more. I’m glad your initial experience has been good. Cheers.
Hey Jeff, Thanks for the feedback. After making the video, I kept thinking of more things I could have added, but, there was enough in the video to make the point. Cheers.
I'm behind on the latest videos, so I've got to play catch-up. Boy, that is one gorgeous JLUR you got! Love it, it's just all good. I love my own, even though it's an "old" 2018. But still a JLUR & I always look forward to driving it. You're right, the "L" improvements over the "K" are important. I'm so glad I waited and ended up with the "L" model.
Oh yes. The JL improvements add significant improvements. The 2024 JL refresh adds to that and very well might I add. Especially in the steering and handling department. Thanks for watching. Cheers
When buying a 2024 JL, take a look at the tires specifications. Some of them have lower (not low) profile of tires to improve on road handling. Many JL are equipped with 20 inch wheels but the tire profiles can be different (at least in US). If you are looking for off road purpose, you may want beefier tires with large side walls. We did not pay attention to this and only found out our new Jeep is lower to the ground than our 2018 JL side by side.
@@ElectricJay789 It's the 2024 Rubicon X. It's stock, in Sarge Green. I added and will do a video soon, on the mud guards and side steps I added shortly.
I highly recommend looking at the 2024 Sport S 4xe. 1. This is a new trim level for 2024, 4xe used to be only reserved for higher trims like Sahara and above. 2. The base Sport S 4xe is well equipped: Select Track AWD is standard Front and back dana 44 axles are standard Body colored fenders are standard All terrain all seasons tires are standard but on the cheap side though, as they are Korean tires
Hey Gilbert, Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked it. Please feel free to help out and share it with anyone you think may be interested. Cheers.
Nice video. .Always enjoy them. Still trying to decide between a JK and JL. The JL just seems to have more things that can go wrong vs the JK. But I do like the added features for sure. I guess i'll just shop for both., and whichever one I can get the better deal on.. go with it.
The select track is great, especially for daily driving. On 2H, the Wrangler is a rare drive vehicle, which is not that great without proper tires on snow. At winter conditions, the off road oriented 4H is not really that good on snow as the 4 wheels are spinning at the same rate. And you should not constantly drive the Jeep on 4H without potentially damaging the drive train. it comes standard with 4xe but it is a pretty hefty option on Sports and Sports S.
I will tell you as long as you watch THAT video when it's released!...lol. They are weather tech. They just screw into 3 existing holes, no drilling required. They don't give full protection like bigger mud guards, but it was a compromise with form and funtion. I liked how they look, and they help. Cheers.
@@CheaperJeeperTV, hey! Thank you for your prompt response. I will see that video for sure. Currently I use a modified version of rockbloks with quick release for off roading, I overlapped two sets of frontal mud guards to have the right width to prevent damage with my 37”s tires, I even contacted that company to show what I did but I got zero response from them, LOL!
Love those awesome Jeep JL things! Hey good sir! That black jacket you are wearing is awesome as well! Could you tell me the brand that makes it? Thanks in advance!

Why can't I ever get good Jeep rims delivered being all damaged and bent up scratched is there any components that causes a little bit of vibration at 70 Mi an hour on a Jeep
I imagine if you’re wheels aren’t balanced properly it might do that. There is so much going on underneath the Jeep that one couldn’t really know without first hand investigation. I’d recommend taking it to a Jeep special shop to determine what the issue is. Good luck.
You can get those rims on 2024 jeep Wrangler JL‘s that have the extreme recon package. My jeep is the 2024 jeep Wrangler Rubicon X, which comes standard with the extreme recon package.
No doubt the JL is loaded with technology and probably is the most capable off road Jeep that’s been manufactured so far. If Jeep is attempting to compete with Range Rover for luxury and off road capability then the JL, in my opinion, has achieved parity. My son had a 2019 JL. It turned out to be a lemon. It literally spent more time at the dealership being repaired, mostly electrical problems, than it did in his garage. I realize that can happen with any vehicle. He got so aggravated with it that he sold it and bought a Toyota Tundra. I was replacing a 1997 TJ. Based on my son’s experience I decided to buy a preowned JK. It’s a capable off roader and has all the technology that I need. I’ve had it for about 18 months. No problems or issues. I’m certainly not against technology but the more complicated anything gets the more likely something is going to break. Just me personally, I’m not a fan of the 4 cylinder engines with a turbo. They perform well and the horsepower is sufficient, but the turbo tends to have (expensive) maintenance issues. They also require high test gasoline to operate efficiently. My grandson was a mechanic for Mercedes. He has lots of horror stories about turbos and their maintenance issues, but the automotive industry is clearly making 4 cylinder turbo engines their priority and they will become the standard engine for most newer vehicles.
Hey Larry, Thank you for sharing your insight. I agree with everything you shared. Thankfully, so far, I’ve managed to avoid any electronic gremlins so far. The only thing that’s a big concern for me is the corrosion issue. The 2024 Rubicons drive so beautifully these days. Jeep seems to have dialed it in nicely. The new Toyota 4Runner and LandCruiser seem interesting as well. Cheers.
It will be hard to part with my 92 YJ and 04 LJ. Convince me.😂I’m not taking out a car loan nor do I have 60k to get what I want. Plus, new equates to worrying about door dings and scratches.
Even if you did get a newer one, if possible, I'd keep your other ones, if at all possible. I'd love to get my hands on an LJ! Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
@@CheaperJeeperTV I kind of lucked out, it was an hour and a half from me where my bro in law lives, who’s been around jeeps for a long time. He actually knew the people and checked it for me before I went up. Paid 17k for it in 2020. Lifted with long arms, 35’s and 145k on it.
