Thanks for the tutorial, i ended up installing the br series on my 2013 sho, 2 questions i had tho is when installing the shocks in the back, how do you torque the nuts down in the shock tower in the trunk, as when they get a certain torque, it just keeps spinning. Also, did the car align fine in the rear or did you need camber bolts. thanks.
Ive just got the NA 3.5 sel. Taurus. Just so everyone knows. They also work for the sel Taurus. Not just the sho. Same alternative part numbers and they bolted right up for me. (Insurance wouldn't let me have a sho... sad panda)
@@mechanized331 Raise it 3 inches above stock or higher than what you set yours to? This looks like a great setup but I live in the midwest and would like to raise it for the winters. Thanks for the great video and information.
Sorry for the delay. This was my friend’s car at the time and even though you’d have to modify the strut tower to get at the adjustment he never modified it. When he went to have it align checked it was already almost spot on so he left alone. Ideally you’d have to. Hope that helps.
I love these cars, no many ppl know about it, and to me it's the fastest stock sleeper out there, I got mine for about 30k with performance package on it and with 9k miles, 2015. U can't beat that, and neither find else where another brand make with this specs for that money.
I have a SHO, will this dramatically firm up my suspension. I would like to get rid of the 4 x 4 stance but, I like the ride of the OEM.

I know this video is a little older, but is it possible to raise the ride height of your car with that system?
Charles Painter Yes you can. You could raise it about 3 inches.
Awesome! Thanks for the information!

Shaun Leemhuis 3 or so higher then the lowest setting which puts it close to stock.
Mechanized 331 thanks! I appreciate the info. Still happy with ride quality?
Using headphones, my poor ears when you adjusted the rear strut height.
were you able to adjust camber plates in the strut tower without drilling?

bry nice video and explanation!! thanks!! which OFF stock brake kit would u recommend!!! and where did you buy the grill? i have an 2015 sho.
Thanks! The grille is from "Grille Technologies" in Florida. Stoptech, EBC and Power Autosport all have great cross drilled rotors and pads etc!

so you have to modify strut tower?
Was the top hat spacing ever addressed?
What grill is that
Wesley Jackson I believe it was from APG
What size rims and tires are you running and are the coils maxed out ?
Adam Games The wheels are 20s with the tire size being 245/35/20. Yes the coils were pretty much maxed out.
How did the alignment go?
kindlestone The alignment went surprisingly well! Considering how low we went there were no problems!
Mechanized 331 Did you cut the tower?
kindlestone fortunetly no! We were prepared to do it if need be but didn't need to!
Mechanized 331 Awsome! Thanks this video was vary helpful along with your replies!
Did you do the alignment yourself, or take it tp a shop?
No torque wrenches were used in the making of this video
Not a big deal you can just Google it.... Or when you get your struts it comes in the instruction book
Very well made video
Very nice video
Are you in Canada?
No, sorry, I'm in the U.S.
How’s the ride after installing
Amazing! Had I not know the car was lowered on a coil over set up, I would've thought they were just lowering springs! Was impressed!
Mechanized 331 cool thanks for the info
That’s not a sho, it looks like an SE or SEL
Peter bell This is true! I'm actually surprised it took this long for someone to point it out. The procedure is the same obviously.
