After listening to numerous other exhaust videos for the 2013 SHO, Stainless Works is the setup i'm going with. For now just catback, don't want to mess with down pipes just yet, being i'm still under warranty. Hopefully next week it will be on my doorstep and then installed by weekend!
Hey, Stainless Works team! I just did the whole downpipes and exhaust kit for my 2010 SHO and am getting some engine codes. Do you guys have an email I could send the picture of the codes to? Been loving everything so far though. The whistle and intake noise I get from this kit plus the tune is ahhmazing. I'm pushing 450lb torque now!
Good evening/morning, would a 2in/2out turbo muffler work in replacing the big suitcase muffler? and removing the two mufflers in the rear? i want an aggressive sounding exhaust, so i figure a better muffler with a decrease to 2 or 1 muffler would do the job. But i do not know if I should remove the two in the rear, or the big suitcase. any suggestions?
Good call, yeah the video shows the catted downpipe. The only difference is the offroad would be a "little" louder, but not a huge noticeable difference.
Sounds really good, do you expect some performance gain? With a cold air and your cat-back that might be a nice little touch that shouldn't spoil any warranty..
+cascadian19 Thanks! Hmm, the most performance is going to come from the downpipe, you'll get a few HP with the catback. If you're looking to play it safe with the warranty, you'll definitely still feel the difference with a CAI and exhaust. Feel free to hit us up if we can help you further - 800.878.3635
+Darvell La'Rick Powell Hi Darvell, as we were in development we determined that a 2.5" was going to get plenty of power for most users and for a standard set-up 3" might be a little too wide open. If you have a custom build that you think needs a 3" feel free to call us to discuss it! 800.878.3635
+Darvell La'Rick Powell The downpipe option is definitely more popular and common (at least in our market) as of now we don't have plans to design a header option, but as always feel free to call and discuss your build 800.878.3635
At this time we haven't had a huge demand, so it hasn't been hot on our R&D list, and we haven't had any customers bring one up to the shop for a custom build yet.
Juan Perez Because our system will be more free flowing, it will run a little more rich than the stock system. Most likely you will encounter a code, so we would recommend getting a tune at some point after installation which would dial everything back in and should be fine for inspection.
Hey Jerry, we weren't super psyched about the overall sound of S-Tubes on this car, so we didn't make it an option. But if you'd prefer them we can always substitute those for you, give us a call if you're interested - 800.878.3635
As an Ecoboost owner I totally agree with you. Been looking around everywhere to find the right exhaust system for my EB but they all sound like shit I guess I’ll stick to the Factory one
Does this system have any drone?? I currently have catless downpipes and don't want any drone

Sounds very good and not obnoxiously loud. Is there any cabin drone?
Are there any dyno results yet out of this system? If you get the off road Down pipe, you'd have to tune it anyways. I'd be curious to see the gains.
Still way too restricted.

Really like the comparison videos. Nice work.
Does this fit 3.5 ecoboost police style explorers?
Horrible video. Could only hear road noise
duel exhaust tips on each muffler please.

What is this? Catted or offroad? All you say is its available both ways. Which is it in the video? I would like to hear both setups.

please tell me you guys have a set for the 2016 interceptor sedan
Come to think of it, these should work on the Interceptor, give us a shout to discuss your set-up 800.878.3635

+Stainless Works ... have you made this system in a 3"? Also, have you considered doing a full-on w/ matching headers?

+Stainless Works ...I was thinking that, but I'm sure the cost-benfit ratio for that build would be negligible... however, what about the headers?

will you make an exhaust system for the 3.5 L naturally aspirated ?

looking to buy the catted downpipe soon. does it throw any codes/cel? will i pass emissions inspection? thanks.

sounds good.
Need to offer this system with the S-tube mufflers instead of the Turbo style...

Ecoboost isn't a very good sounding motor
Gen yes it is lol ? 😂😂
Gen I totally agree brother but these Ecoboost lovers just don't get it.
why so much emphasis on what it sounds like, ill blow your doors off
@@stevelaw2000 ^^ what you said

I don't see the attraction. In fact I think it sounds terrible. And this costs what? 2,3 grand? No thanks.
Not much difference, It’s better to leave a car stock. If you want a better performance car just buy a faster more beefy car.
Man that's one hideous looking Taurus right there.
Then why are you looking at this video???
Probably because you’re only seeing the tail lights!
Dan Adams Yea while it's at the repair shop while my 96 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 is still going strong.
@@CJColvin Lmao a 96... phhhh thats all you had to say. This car kills Mustangs and nearly anything off the line
@@tyberious3023 Except it'll never look as good nor sound as good as an old school muscle car or hotrod.
