Great video, I bought Scorpion roller rockers for my foxbody. It has the same pushrod adjuster. Your video really helped me understand how to adjust them. I was used to the old svo roller rockers with shims.
Glad it helped! Yes, I’ve had a few old sets of those over the years.
This worked for me thank you so much!!! Honestly nobody is really hitting this job on the Internet... So thank you!!!
Excellent, glad it worked!
Where do I find the relay for a 2013 version
Sorry I’m not sure on that year.
What did you use for the plug for the crossover tubs
I took the tube with me to a hardware store for a plug and I believe on that one it was a metric M10 fine thread.
I used this tutorial to fix my car, thanks so much for this!
Glad it worked!
I fixed my carolla by watching your video. I really appreciate and thank you.please keep up good work
Well thank you, glad it helped!
I have this problem also. Hope relay and new blower motor works!
I gotta try this cause i have this exact problem!. Thanx
Hope it works for you!
I just hit a deer with my 02 and no blower motor no ac light I'll try the relays
Thank you dude, thought I was gonna have to replace my damn compressor/blower motor turns out just needed to clean the contacts on a relay
Glad it helped!
What about all the shaving from cutting it ?
There really isn’t a ton of shavings plus with people most likely flushing the system if you’ve gone this far I think most would be gone. If you had a shop vac present while cutting that could help collect as well.
Thank you so much!
This is misleading. There is hardly any rust on these. Show the treatment when the disc was really rusty please. The water pump bolt is hardly any different. The best way is to use a rotary NYLON abrasive wheel.
Tons of rust, the lead pic shows you how these looked, fresh from the junkyard. The pump bolt was pitted it was so rusted as well. Get the rustiest thing you can find and try it yourself, it’ll surprise you.
White vinegar wow.
That 89 took off😂
after soaking in vinegar . simply wash off in water and spray with some wd40 to protect the discs and should be rust free for longer . nice video cheers
I have a broken one of these units that I got from someone who was throwing out because the screen is smashed. Would love to find some type of screen replacement kit for this unit.
The rotors on my car were warped to hell and I didn't want to drop $70 per rotor since I'm gonna do a 5 lug conversion at some point soon. I grabbed a rusty, but solid and straight pair of rotors from my salvage yard for like $20. Soaked them in vinegar for two days and they came out like brand new. I ended up painting the hats (inside and out) and the edges and threw them on. They've been holding up fine and my steering wheel shudder is gone. As far as doing disposal of the rusty solution: I'm sure it's safe to dump it anywhere. It's just iron and vinegar. Iron is already readily found in everything, including our poop and blood.
doesnt the rust just come back in a few days or weeks?
If not in use typically you’ll see flash rust on the surfaces in moist climates in a few days but I emphasize “Flash Rust”, is removed after a drive. The rust on these had been on there for some time and you wouldn’t see this at all in common normal use.
I was gonna buy new disc by why not js do this save money and use it on another part great job thanks for the clue
Steel? I don't have much experience with Lincoln or Ford. But most cars use cast iron.
That is true, I believe these are actually.
Great video ,thanks 👏👏👍
Well thank you, you’re welcome!
Still have your this Lincoln LS? I just bought one at an auction.
Cool! Yes actually I do, it’s a back up car now primarily.
I just recently got a Honda Pilot and the rotors and calipers have some rust and it looks awful, can’t wait to try this out, I’ll let ya know how it goes.
will this process also work with no roller setup?
Hello! Yes it is, if they’re adjustable.
If the brake pads themselves are rusted as well can you toss the pads in it too??🤔
Missed this! Yes I don’t see why you couldn’t.
or you could just drive and let the pads do that for u..........
Sure you could. This to demonstrate white vinegar rust removal, the brakes were just the example.
TY for video!!!!
Absolutely!
THANKS BROTHER ✌️

Hey I’m about 6 years late to this video lol but I got a v6 05 ls my compressor went out stopped spinning I’m assuming since my belt started burning and ripped all other pulleys look good except the ac compressor , haven’t moved the car or even turned it on in 2 months almost now before tho my ac did stop blowing cold should I still get it discharged before I replace my compressor?
Your LSE is how I wanna make mine look btw beautiful car👏🏾
Hey! No worries! Yea if your compressor needs to be replaced, legally speaking you need to have the Freon extracted in an approved manner. After that the same place can charge you up the right way. DO NOT remove lines until Freon is removed, they are definitely under pressure!! And thank you! Still driving it. 230k on miles.
@@mechanized331 yea it’s cause the car doesn’t really move I tried just adding a new serpentine belt and it completely burned it and snatched the belt in half ac compressor doesn’t even spin so I can’t move the car or anything it’s just sitting right now
@@MakorRudy I’ve heard of people that vent the Freon from the Schrader valve and that’ll relieve the pressure from the lines before removal.
Thanks
Very nice. I've started a full suspension rebuild on a 2002 Thunderbird. T-Bird owners are not wrenchers, well most of them anyways. I'm very thankful for the LS owners.
Can you use the Vinegar for 2 wheels
That looks more like the oil they come in from the factory not rust lol gawd
Oh it was rust I assure you.
Going a little off topic here. I have 11.8 inch rotors that have rust more on one than on the other cause one was taken out of the plastic to discover it didn't fit my 2003 Accord. Anyways, anyone know what vehicles these 11.8 inch rotors will fit when cleaned? TIA.

What’s up man?
@@mechanized331 nothing me n my friend just thought it was funny. We were watching this because his tie Rod snapped and we couldn’t get that bolt off. Anyways it was funny because you said “give it a tap” then proceeded to make the loudest banging noise possible😂😂
@@tali4prez Oh! LoL gotcha!
@@mechanized331 I really miss his Lincoln. we originally watched this vid like 6 months ago and since then the car has been put in the scrap yard. Sad that he didn’t take very much care of it, they’re pretty quick even tho nothing was done to it. Thanks for the video though it helped us out!
@@tali4prez oh man! Yea very nice cars. Glad the vid helped, take it easy.
i remmeber getting a bunch of these from the beach once
i have an old sportster harley with a rusted frob rotor. gonna try this
Will p&s brake buster do same thing?
I have a SHO, will this dramatically firm up my suspension. I would like to get rid of the 4 x 4 stance but, I like the ride of the OEM.
Before you start knocking yourself out removing the rotors just get somewhere safe where you can get up 30 or 40 mph and hit brakes hard several times you should see a noticeable difference. Hey if it works your rotors wasn't bad enough for drastic measures.
Can this work without removing the tires? Just spraying the vinigar on it every few minutes?
That's what I just did and will see if it works. Even if it helps a little I'm fine with it.
@@Ismael916did it work?
Thanks for the tutorial, i ended up installing the br series on my 2013 sho, 2 questions i had tho is when installing the shocks in the back, how do you torque the nuts down in the shock tower in the trunk, as when they get a certain torque, it just keeps spinning. Also, did the car align fine in the rear or did you need camber bolts. thanks.
do you not have to rinse with water after to neutralize the process
Tomato ketchup works too :)
Whaat
@@youngrios youtube it.. 😎
Hey y'all! I got a Dodge charger and I wonder if i could use the same method?
Great video ... will have to try
I noticed a lot of rust on a car that's sitting at a dealership. I'm definitely doing this instead of buying new rotors!
