Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

I'm in Kenya. I've made a reactor to extract fuel from plastics too. My reactor has a volume of 2000 pounds(850kg) my plan is to use charcoal brickets made from the carbon residue and ash.
Excelent idea!
That is amazing! Great work and much respect. Traditional or Microwave?
@@naturejab traditional soon I'll upgrade your standards.

How do you bleach or stabilize or clarify your pyrolysis oil
I heard you on TikTok today say your shadow band on TH-cam, but I think if you work on improving your titles, thumbnails and don’t use vertical footage, your page will blow up brother! Maybe one of your viewers would be interested in helping you out since your focus should remain on your projects.
Maybe don't call it a reactor
@@rolc8272 no because other science TH-camrs use reactor too
@@rolc8272 calling it a reactor is the right name as it literally causes an chemical reaction
Despite being in awe of your massive rigs for pyrolysis, I'm trying to draw up a design for a sort of "portable" campfire + generator fuel supply sort of pyrolysis rig with a baseplate made from an old satellite dish, a metal paint can (or two, if secondary heat chamber) for the sealed chamber, and 2x pressure relief valves that'll need to be easily replaceable.
My idea is to have a tiny campfire on the dish with the can above, the pipe coming from the top would hit a T-joint that splits up/ outwards to generator input, and down to feed the fire so it'll self sustain until no more (or not enough) plastic remains.
After doing some very light research into plastic recycling for 3d printing, I believe that the two projects could be combined.
Different fuels extracted from pyrolysis burn at varying rates, different plastics need different ranges of heat to become malleable without melting or burning. Plus, the "filament purge" of changing materials is perfect mixed compound trash/fuel for feeding the pyrolysis machine. Anything unfit for printing, for example contaminated with metal shavings or dirt, can become fuel to continue the cycle of recycling.
You are very talented, nice work
Making sure each piece is level with one another for (Tackup) is crucial for maximum seal for the blades now seeing it after the fabrication.
multiple times i watched bro man weldin down hill at 4:36 you clearly see it on these . this will blow up soon facts
I really hope you read this. I am building something similar to your machines and I wanted to ask you what material are you using to protect the magnetron from high temperatures and pressure but allowing the microwaves to pass through.
Great job! Where did you get the clamps?
could you use fan blades instead?
would an old water heater be thick enough to create a #pyrolysismachine?
is there a reason why you use propane tanks?
Someone protect this man
This comment stamps an early investment of the future of this project
What is the reason for using heavy steel propane tanks? What would be the ideal material?
Better to over engineer it than to not I'd think 😂 gonna end up like that submersible... make it thicccc
Do you need high temperature high pressure graphite gaskets on flange fittings with bolts steel is okay to use but it should be stainless steel if you want to last and for it to be reliable
RTV silicone can work I've tried that alternatively you can put asbestos or metallic gaskets
@@Wastedaddypylorisis I only use graphite impregnated steel mesh gaskets zero concerns zero leaks zero problems zero wicking zero odors zero smoking no retightening and they are designed for high heat up to 800 Degrees
@@tonydiesel3444this is good info bro thank you
wow
Dont mind me, random robotics engineer looking at this 😏 putting this under my hat for later
Let's go
The multiple magnetrons wont work the way you want them to, you will get destructive interference some of the time and it will waste power, you would be better off getting a single large magnetron from a commercial oven and supplementing the heating by burning the non condensable gasses so you don't have to store them.
everyobdy comment where you are from i'm from missouri

Is this guy from America or the UK? His language patterns keep pulling me one way or the other. If hes American we need to get him some secret service cause we all know what happens when people threaten the gas moguls.
help me dude
So are you dead or not 😂
why would he be.
@@Corbin97 because of idiots on TikTok thinking the government did something to him because he disappeared off the platform.
the high voltages from the microwave transformers are lethal....@@Corbin97
He meant because the government gonna kill him off like they do to all the people who make advancements like this. Google the guy who made his car run off water then "randomly" died after making it public.
