Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

Hey friend. PLEASE check the inside of that tank with a borescope. They ALWAYS have rust spots. Dont engender yourself. When they explode at 200+psi, it is terrifyingly dangerous.
🤔
it blew up.

thank you for allowing us to be a part of this journey with you 🤙🔥🔥 you are going to change the world
Please be careful. You are playing with fire.
@@RayHarms82bro it's an emoji chill
Change the world? They knew all this in the 1930's. It takes 10 times more fuel than it creates. The dude is doing nothing new. He's probably gonna hurt himself.
Be aware that if you pyrolyse polyvinylchloride (PVC) without a nitrogen atmosphere you can form dioxine in the process. This is also known as agent orange. Impressive installation that you build yourself. You don't want to poison the neighborhood take proper care.
It's funny to think this man has neighbors that see him in a suit with this weird contraption smelling this brown liquid.
I can only imagine he had to have had a conversation with the neighbors to explain it wasn’t a backyard drug lab 😂
Not very funny when you realize that plastic pyrolysis is known to produce PAHs and dioxins, and this guy hasn’t shown any evidence of mitigation measures or even monitoring…
Nobody should be surprised when the EPA or some other regulatory agencies step in to prevent him from spewing toxic waste all over his neighborhood.
@johnyrocket-sx3pd I'd rather have my neighbor cooking crack than making benzene in their backyard lmao.
Lets not forget what gas he is making,if i was his neighbors and i knew what he was doing id call the cops tbh..the gas that doesnt condensate gets released into the air aka that thing u love to breath.
Lets not forget that the "gas" he makes is mostly benzene, which is pretty damn cancerous
These upgrades are INSANE!!! Hope you keep refining and documenting the whole process. God speed bro!
These upgrades are gonna kill him. Dude is unknowingly making a bomb.
amazing I glad I found your channel Keep Up the Good Work bro
Basically he’s giving us a whole Tutorial on how to do this ourselves that is his whole goal to spread this information and I supportive even though I don’t understand everything about the process I’m willing to learn
The number of kids who think this guy is changing the world is making me lose faith. I guess most of his fans are kids or older people who have no idea what he's really doing.
I think they imagine, "Oh my God, he's making oil out of plastic or something; the government must be sending hitmen after him daily." But the truth is, even if he found a new way to make oil without wasting a lot of energy, the government would be more interested in how he did it before doing anything drastic to him.
even if he had invented something that truly threatened the government, he would have been dealt with a long time ago.
I'm getting more of a . I'm learning this with you kind of vibe. He is very smart and passionate about what he is doing. His process is down and dirty. And not very efficient. But that will get better with time. It has to. There is no point to any of this. If you don't get move energy out then put in. I'm going to keep an eye on this guy. Fyi this tech has been around for a while . It's about the efficiency of the process. And making it a continuous process makes it promising. I wish him the best.
@@WithoutFear45Yep, the claims of “changing the world” are silly. It clearly takes some skill to set all of this up, but pyrolysis of plastics has been researched and debated for decades, this isn’t new. He has basically set up a big science experiment, trying to do what companies and research institutions have done many times over, except he’s obviously doing it with much lower efficiency, fewer personal safety measures, and zero regard for the toxic pollutants released in the process.
Ever hear of the nuclear boy scout? A Boy Scout was fascinated by nuclear engineering, but he decided to carry out dangerous experiments with radioactive material in a shed in his mom’s backyard. The EPA had to dismantle the thing and designated it a superfund site. Curiosity about science and engineering is great, but it needs to be properly channeled - it’s no surprise that he recently wound up in the hospital with serious burns, and I worry that continuing this experiment will end with greater injuries to him or even harm to his surrounding community.
He’s clearly bright, but portraying this as a world-changing invention is nothing short of misleading, especially considering the number of people donating real money to this project.
Oh my god,he is not "smart" he is just following what other people did gor the past 50 years.
Congratulations on the progress dude! Love to see it!
It had rapid unscheduled disassembly.
I would love to see you filter your oil/fuel mix to purifier both or at least fuel ⛽❤❤ Keep up the great work mate
I found u on tiktok. Im so invested in this bro. I wish you all the best in your recovery. You WIll be back.
Use a refrigeration recovery tank. They're very cheap, very well sealed, common, and hot swappable. Also you could very easily adapt a refrigeration compressor to pull an amazing vacuum and compress the gas against a refrigerant solenoid to make it all remotely controlled and 240 so less current. Recovery machines are very expensive. Also depending on the required condensing temperature you may find a large evaporator coil from an RTU (roof top unit) with a fan and shroud could do very well and again reduce power consumption. If not enough then I would just use a small walk in freezer refrigeration system, again cheap and effective while being very power efficient. I'd love to help on this project

You need to fill it with water and do a hydro test on that cylinder before putting it into "service."
Yeah, hopefully it doesn’t explode
We love you dude, keep changing the world 😊
Keep changing from what? He takes plastic, which is made from petroleum. To really make a changing you have to stop using oil and stop making plastic out of it, not figure out how to make plastic into oil again.
This is amazing dude. You only see stuff like this on Cartoons.
I just support This man even Though i don’t understand everything about how This whole system works But like you said in previous videos that I watched this about spreading the information because he wanted to do the same thing that he’s doing that’s the goal

Genius bruh 🔥🔥🤯
Make A Thick / Clear pyrolysis chamber and use mirrors or Fresnel lenses during a sunny day to heat the plastic instead of the microwaves. Now you have a real 0 Grid based Energy option, Please look into both of those options, they are viable.
Won't work. You'd just blow yourself up. Even with what he is doing, I'm amazed he has not blown himself up. That's not a pressure vessel.
I am no engineer, but, if everything is condensating within your black tube. It may make a lot of sense to have sections where you have several places where the condensate can go throughout the tube rather than your single spot. You can still have your single collection, but I feel like a lot of it would be caught on the top of the black tube and drip down into the charcoal.
Use two ss ice traps on the gas recovery side. By using two traps your able to collect your gas as a liquid. And the its much easier to move into a cylinder. Why use two different traps? For the continuous run you have set up. You would have a set of isolation values for each trap and a n2 bleed back. And it always helps to keep your recovery cylinder cold as possible. Even a simple wooden box . Packed with dry ice would help your process. Very cool stuff your playing with.
Love what you’re doing super badass hopefully this can help with the world plastic problem!! But I’ve seen comments on here that you should be careful because the 3 letter agency will get you.
My personal opinion is that you should be watching out for the oil companies!! I wouldn’t put it past them to sabotage your equipment especially it being outside and easily accessible. Food for thought. Keep doin what you’re doin and I hope you get better soon!
i think a big issue with this is the energy consumption 30kwh for a couple liters of fuel is alot im sure there are MANY ways to make it so much more efficient
also how are you planning to filter the oil into their own gas mixes? im really excited to see when you figure out to do that
I was thinking the same. That's like $10 USD of electricity.
The machine produces gas and he uses that to power a generator
@Skye.004 it won't make more fuel than it will use. Paralysis is nothing new. You can do this with wood too. But this guy has THE WRONG EQUIPMENT TO DO THIS. He is going to hurt himself trying this stuff someday
Scaling the entire thing up with more powerful electrical sources will help tremendously. He only has 220v with a 200 amp service at his house though.\
This is another reason I hope he can move this to a proper industrial area and have 3 phase 1000+ amp service available. I also think the microwave magnetrons can be optimized and scaled up to work more efficiently. I believe he is still using consumer grade magnetrons from old microwaves which are not that great efficiency wise while running this long.
You should store the gas in standup welding bottles
Bro these in doomsday bunkers this guy's good first time I ever knew about this was this guy...I never seen or heard of this till this guy
It’s criminal that more people aren’t watching you.
It would be awesome to see if you could refine the oil that you produced to see if you could make 5W30 or 10W40.
Just liked and subscribed! Will be watching! Keep cooking my guy! 🫵🏿💯🫡🤜🏿🤛🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿
Unfortunately he blew up yesterday but he's ok😂
This burned his legs to shit and we're all here to see it go boom
2 litres of oil seems somewhat significant, How much do you know the machine can handle?
Storage wise, I think you're due for a large propane tank to store your gasses.
When will the results for the contaminants test for the carbon come back?
Benzene is a really funny guy
You need to make your own chiller you got an old deep freezer and run copper pipes through it fill it up with water and then run the water through that they use that for mushroom extraction
Brother, have you thought about using hemp? I got a lot of biomass. Where are you located at?

10lbs melted plastic
@@joeyork9891 and how did you improve the world today? With this attitude? I think not
Your a smart man but I have a question. How much energy does it take to use compared to the fuel it's producing
Dude, methinks you need to insulate that door, get a longer and fractionated condenser. Along with a MUCH larger collection vessel.
If this is 3x as large as your prev. prototype, you could theoretically go bigger, but pressures and managing a setup get awkward af.
Random thought, but a door mounted magnetron might destabilse standing waves for more even heating? Would complicate insulation though?
Cant wait till a 5 litre oil product 👀
Bro im trying to do this im in ghana west afri a theres alot of plastic waste here
First u must find water and a cure for Ghanarea the clap clap ur hands for water brothers
🔥🔥🔥
Now we just need someone to make something that can take the microplastics out of water
Have you had the gas tested for chemical composition? I would expect it to be mostly hydrogen, CO, CO2, and a little methane based on your process.
Very cool but interested to know the kw required for the microwave process.
240v x 48 A = 11,520 W. He also indicated 30 kWh were used for the run, though that doesn't appear to reconcile with the runtime.
@@sfcrosby1no he was lying very obviously.
@@sfcrosby1he used more like 300kwh.
Spent $300 of power on mom's bill to make a half quart of dirty, toxic oil.
@@dems000 I'm not prepared to say "lying" without more data, but yeah... none of this adds up. The 11.5 kW operating power more or less checks out, but the time (and therefore power consumption) doesn't.
My frustration with this whole effort is that he promotes and encourages this image that what he's doing is some kind of breakthrough when it absolutely is not. And he clearly knows that based on interviews I've seen, though he's content to allow people to believe he's about to change the world. Or that he's some kind of rebel fighting the big corporations who have been sitting on this secret technology.
Is what he's doing interesting? Yeah, I personally think so. Is it going to change the world? Not until electricity is free. He knows full well there's a minimum amount of energy required to rip those molecules apart, and he knows that isn't close to economically viable. I just wish he'd be honest about that.
Dope
What is the maximum of the reactor for plastics
Someone should give this man a shit load of money. He and a few of his friends can sort out the plastic problem we have in our oceans.
I know you recently burned the shit out yourself. But man you are on to something. Love from the UK.
That’s not how any of this works. Plastic pyrolysis has existed for decades, this isn’t a new process. The problem is that the process itself produces significant emissions, and the energy required is quite high.
Researchers have presented options for scaling this tech on many occasions, but it’s not used very often for the reasons listed. There are a million and one ways to reuse plastic waste, that’s never been the issue, it’s always just been a question of thermodynamics and whether or not the process is worth it in terms of energy and additional emissions.
Thank god you aren't in charge of anything important because this young man is just being destructive for no learning or value.
I'm curious to know how much energy you consume daily
Bro... lets gooo. Just be careful that you dont get taken by the goverment and coporate giants. LOVE AND PEACE. GOD BLESS
Yeah careful with that tank and def check for rust deposits when draining it. Good luck
What is the weight of the fuel you got out of it?
How many kwh of electricity did you use?
At 13:16 he said that it consumed 30kwh of energy. 2liters of that oil probably amount to about 17kwh of energy. But it also produced lots of gas and carbon and I am sure that it can be made much more efficient, looks promising.
Cool
This is fucking incredible! We’re witnessing black Rudolf Diesel over here 😱 From a black man to another I really fucking hope you’re able to build this into an entirely new trillion dollar industry 🙏🏽 I will be investing very very soon!
Does the fuel emit any plastic particles?????
But like dont thermodynamics mean energy wise this will always be a completely inefficient process??
What about Styrofoam?
Are you okay after explosión ? 🤔
Something youve got to ask yourself is the juice worth the squeeze
Where my volunteer diesel truck owners to use his diesel???
I would run it.
ten+ years back, a Grant put out by the government allowed a few labs to open up In the United States to revisited this concept to see If modern methods could extract the petroleum from plastic. We knew we could Extracted petroleum it was simply a matter of cost Versus energy output.
Each lab ran large scale experiments and attempt to extract the petroleum Using different methods.
While at the same time, running a research group to see how much it would cost to do it and at what scale It would take to make the process pay for itself.
The conclusion of the research was that there were two Methods that were viable if the processing plants were made on a massive scale.
Princeton, this guy set up, Is quite small scale and takes more energy and money Extract the petroleum then you would get from selling the fuel.
Ultimately, the research pointed to the federal government having to be the one to Fit the bill and regulate for multiple reasons.
For one, somebody would have to eat the initial cost under the best circumstances, if regulations don’t change and no major accidents occurred on the facility's site And mechanical wares consistent across the entire timeframe it would take 43 years to break even.
If in the hands of private employers, regulation would almost certainly change overtime resulting in high cost
If any accident happened on the facility at any point in time, a private owner would certainly go under considering the initial cost would have put them in the red for 43 years.
After considering the current political landscape, No career politician would be willing to put their name on an anchor that they know will be submerged for 43 years. Because by the end of the 43 years, even if they had solved the worlds plastic problem, the Anchors that emerges from the dearth’s will be covered in mud, Rust and Mired in a negative perception.
So, ultimately it is just heating the plastic up with microwaves? There's no other chemicals being added, no other process?
Heating plastic up without the presence of oxygen, makes the plastic breakdown into its core components. Which is crude oil and a bunch of other chemical additives.
So no this is not revolutionary or a better way to make fuel. Since you are already taking a product which requires a lot of energy to produce, and then using a lot more energy to breakdown said product again. This is the main reason why no large companies have done it, since it is cheaper and more energy efficient to just buy a barrel of crude oil to refine.
The oil definitely needs to be filtered
This is black excellence. And that’s not hate on any race but black ppl should be known for out excellent ingenuity we are responsible for easily 70% of innovation that makes up modern society if not more since we couldn’t lay claim to our own invention for years. And when we invent it’s to save the world! Not just for the rich to get rich! Blessed
This isn't real bud. He's not doing anything innovative, difficult, or useful. This is black deception and bs, not excellence.
He's not suicidal
We all need to pray God keeps this man safe and our leaders take this to clean our world and help with feul cost which drives all our cost up food and other transport items this man's invention can help safe our planet in a huge way
I pray you research what pyrolis is and how long we have known about and the reason it's not used and why this clearly brilliant but misguided young man is going to spend a lot of time hooked up to a dialysis bag in the near future
First mistake: No PPE!!!
MIT should have you apply
Be careful if it rusts inside it could explode check for rust
These Energie to do Energie
Man how much is your electric bill a month ?
When you think about it, this REALY is not “backyard science experiment “ level stuff. You need to relocate. Operate on a foundation. Indoors, or at least semi indoors. Think about your house dude. Some fuels burn invisible in daylight.!
Why plastic and not tires? Surely it would be easier for you to source
Tyres have a whole host of different problems that need to be overcome when doing pyrolysis. With simple plastics he can shred them easily and source easily
This is not a new method for creating gasoline. It just heats up the plastic without the presence of oxygen until it reverts back into crude oil. The crude oil is then processed into fuel. The problem with this system is that you have to use more energy to convert the plastic into crude than is present in the end product.
People who don’t know this, think he is the greatest inventor of all time.
Even though this technology has been here for over 70 years. It was just not an economically viable way of producing fuel. Since plastic is a product of crude, which you then decided to turn back into crude to make fuel.
I think he’s trying to solve that problem
Okay lets do the math, you used 30kwh to produce 2l of fuel, lets do the math:
an electric car uses on average 0.2 kwh per kilometer driven.
1l gets you 30km in a modern car fuel efficient car in the best case scenario.
So if you used that electricity, to recharge an electric vehicle, you could have driven 150km and with the fuel you made you can only drive 60km, and that is being generous since its basically crude oil and will need further refinement to be used as fuel.
I hope you are okay, and I dont want to discourage you from experimenting with anything, but take care and remember to think twice before doing anything at this scale again, there is so many things in this project that can kill you or give you cancer or cook you alive, quite literally.
Okay, now calculate how much energy it took to get that amount of fuel. It's insanely expensive.
At this point make a water powered car
It’s actually disturbing to see that 10lb is that much…… so the amount of shredded plastic at 100 lbs would be big as a house .
Bro that diddy line is unnecessary😅
