SI is trying to be the Walmart of gun stuff. Magpul, with a few exceptions, generally targets the professional/ contractor market. They just make great stuff (in America) that is mostly a good value, which happens to hold a lot of appeal to regular Joe's as well.
It's interesting to see this years later and see how well these products have done. I've purchased a lot of these and I really like the innovation Strike Industries implements into their products.
I have become a BIG fan of Strike Industries!!! Besides affordable, their stuff is EXTREMELY well made and well thought out, plus it is some of the coolest looking stuff out their.
Last year I had no gun, This year I have a Aero Precision AR-15 with almost all Strike parts except for the SB tactical arm brace (hurry up with your brace strike!), thank you to Ryan at OreGear and to IP43 - IP44 for inspiring me to jump in feet first, won't be looking back!
Great vid with a bunch of my favorite people! Thanks again for lunch Ryan..... Next time make sure GBGuns isn't trying to sneak into any more of your vids. LOL.
I hear you on the no firearms rule, there was no mention on the website about it. And so I walked in on Saturday morning carrying and just about walked back to my rig to drop it off but noticed the "locker" area so at least you could check it in.
Gen 4 is still under patent which is why there is less things that can be done in the aftermarket. No one wants to be sued by Glock like Smith and Wesson was with the Sigma, which is why the SD series has internal changes from the Sigma and SW models either as part of the settlement or to not have to pay royalties anymore. Not sure which it is.
@OreGear - it's been a while since you reviewed any SI stuff, any thoughts on their new Gridlok Handguards? Are you going to install it and test it on any of your builds?
I haven’t had a chance to try them yet. I’ve got a couple products from SI that I’ll be doing soon. I still really like their stuff, it’s just been a busy year
I honestly dont understand how the UDCs havent become industry standard. I havent used a traditional dust cover since I tried one on a build for my wife... Now in aluminum! Sign me up... I'll buy one for every AR I own...
superswaglord1945 ive never had that problem. Ive used them with aero, odin works, anderson, sig sauer, bcm and seekins uppers. Never had that issue. Did it not open when you charged the weapon? Or did it not open when it fired? If so, did you close the dust cover after charging it? Like one might do in a carbine class or patrolling? I did have something similar with a traditional dust cover a few years back, actually on a spikes upper; but it wasn't the upper's fault, the dust cover it's self was warped and out of spec. Follow up if you have a chance, I use these all the time, so I'd like to hear more about your issue.
everything was great until live fire. same issue appeared on an aero precision slick side upper, as well as the bcm milspec. I felt some rubbing plastic, so I sanded that down, still same issues. It only happens live fire, charge the rifle, close the cover and first shot is a stovepipe, no matter how the adjustable detent was adjusted, or how much I sanded down rubbing parts. embarassed myself at a carbine class with so many malfunctions, especially because of a stupid dust cover. removed it, and replicated the issue on a different upper. I could not bear to sell it to someone else with these issues so I snapped it in half. i went back to a milspec, and no issues. I'm happy to hear others have good results, its just something I'd never trust to a home defense rifle. seemed like a "not screwing with the gun lightweight" upgrade but burned me when I least expected it. I think the spring may have been too weak, too much friction in the internal spring loaded components, or slightly kinked spring loaded components. It never closed as tightly as the milspec, and always "clicked" back and forth when you pressed down on the outside of it when it was closed. milspec beats it hands down for me. you sound like you've thoroughly tested yours with various uppers, but caveat emptor to others when purchasing parts for your home defense rifle.
superswaglord1945 that's really interesting. Yeah it sounds like the plastic must have been out of spec. Ive run it on multiple rifles and never ran in to that. Especially considering you ran it on multiple uppers, it must have been the part. Ive never even had to adjust the detent. Ill definitively bring that up with folks in the future discussing build options. Thanks.
Dear Brian, Tell strike not everyone wants to pay for another tax stamp, thus, they need to make their suppressor adaptor available for other suppressor threads (like Q with their “Plan B” for silencer co suppressors) so that I can enjoy my suppressor on other firearms. Thank you and good day.
Glock, cock, crock. No matter how much dirt (slide cuts, optics, triggers, pretty much any after market parts) you put on a piece of shit (Glock) it's still a piece of shit.
Strike industries is truly innovative and they listen to their customers all while keeping prices down. I am a huge fan of them. A+
SI looks like its maneuvering to be the next magpul.
@@sauceforce9623 sure. Magpul is the market leader so I'm sure someone would be more than happy to replace them in sales and market share.
Bhahah maybe if they stop manufacturing their crap in Asia and marketing it on airsoft websites.

I love Strike. Funtional products, that look awesome and most folks can actually afford. Great stuff.
BTW Ryan: GREAT Strike Industries booth interview! You really killed it with showing us all of their products! Thanks brother!
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching.
OreGear I will always watch if you make them! :) Take care!
It's interesting to see this years later and see how well these products have done. I've purchased a lot of these and I really like the innovation Strike Industries implements into their products.
Strike Industries is an awesome company. Keep the innovation coming!
Everything Strike Industries makes is well thought of and of optimal quality.

I’m happy they actually came out with suppressors for their brakes.
I will be just giving them money over this next year. Looks like I be getting a suppresser!
Love the description, take my upvote
Can that comp be attached tighter if its springy motion begins to bother?
Sweet Strike Industries will be making stuff for the M&P,can't wait to see what they do.Great video.
Caddilacjim hopefully that comp and slide options come to us
Hope so.
Great vid with a bunch of my favorite people! Thanks again for lunch Ryan..... Next time make sure GBGuns isn't trying to sneak into any more of your vids. LOL.
Any plans for a 30 cal version of the Triple Crown break?
So still no compensator for Gen 5 19 and 17?
the trigger makes the glock go off even when the trigger safety is not depressed. did you guys fix that
Where can I buy the comp?
I hear you on the no firearms rule, there was no mention on the website about it. And so I walked in on Saturday morning carrying and just about walked back to my rig to drop it off but noticed the "locker" area so at least you could check it in.
Apparently under the FAQ on their website, there was mention of it. Either way, I won't be back next year.
Me neither because I am just an hour north of you in Salem and even I thought it was a bit of a drive.

When’s the plus 6 mag extension release?
What's the word on the Strike mag?
It's way past four months total guys, where's the Glock slide??? Want one bad!
Dose the compensator work like a stand off device so the glock can't be pushed out of battery.
Great video man as always, too bad I missed you at triggercon would have been cool to say what's up. Keep up the good work!
I wish I could have stayed the whole weekend so I could meet up with viewers but unfortunately I couldn’t really afford to make that happen.
Do those plus 6 mag extensions come with a replacement spring or do you have to use the stock mag spring?
Damn ask if they can make that comp for the m&p, people always forget about us m&p guys lol
Did he mention to you when the glock sights come out?
Cool stuff. Looks like i will buy me so SI stuff
Is there a release date for the Glock sights? Suppressor height?
how much does it cost to for sure 100% cut my finger off the first time i try to wrench on a hex bolt?
So many questions about their pending silencers. I have the Oppressor, and it's hefty. But if the cans are titanium...
Great video! Thanks!
Does that mean we're going to see a brace that uses the picatinny rail as the attachment???
Good interview and that comp is sweet!!! Like you can’t wait for the Gen 4

Strike industries is awesome. Send me a set of Glock sights they look AWESOME, also looking forward to the hand stop.
What sights are on the glock? I cant find them online
Those are our new Blade Sights (not released yet).
Strike Industries Official waiting until SHOT or soon to release? Really like them.
You have it bad as a gen 4 owner?
I got a gen 5 a couple months ago, first Glock I would like to customize. No options, period.
Super stoked for that comp whenever I have money again. Hey Strike Industries, you hiring? No just kidding unless you are.
Gen 3 34 for USPSA Carry Optic
Will this Sight Setup Co-Witness an RMR or Vortex Viper?
That’s a question for Strike Industries
Please do that damn comp for the 19🙄😩😩😩
I'm a Glock Gen 4 guy too! Hardly anything for us!
Trust me, I've considered picking up a Gen3...
M&P one to match my g19 one when they come out :)
what's the suppressor brand please?
I can’t tell if you’re being serious
p 10c guide rod comp????????
Great info Ryan! Great Vid!
I honestly dont understand how the UDCs havent become industry standard. I havent used a traditional dust cover since I tried one on a build for my wife... Now in aluminum! Sign me up... I'll buy one for every AR I own...
Agreed. They make life so much easier!
caused multiple FTE on my BCM upper whenever the dust cover was closed. at least it was easy it was to remove..

Check out Vendetta Precision Hybrid Handstop....its incredible on all platforms!!
Will the oppressor work with the Sail Comp?
Unfortunately no
So big issue with the comp. What if you need to field strip your glock? Answer: you cant.
How so?

Great Video brother!
I think strike Industries could do amazing things with the Smith & Wesson SD ve
wait your at triggercon and they said no guns lol okay ill never buy a ticket to that then
Just when I thought I was done buying gun parts, Strike Industries keeps pulling me back in...
Now I gotta create an excuse for the wife...
