I really thought the thumb up was goofy when I heard it. And in application it was very strange feeling for me. I can't deny though the rate of fire and consistency between shots. Very impressive technique, thank you for sharing.
What planet is this straight to the point? I swear to god these are botted reactions, everyone is acting like this is the best thing ever; and it just happens to be from the country most famous for brigading sites on the internet and having billions of fake accounts. Idk man, seems suss.

A few thoughts to go with the grip and shooting work. - Don't use the tip of your finger. Set the trigger just in front of your knuckle joint. Preferable the second joint if you can do so comfortably. This gives you amazing torque. It dramatically reduces finger fatigue. Makes it easy to keep the finger on the trigger. Many people who shoot with the tip of the finger. Pull the finger off the trigger when trying to shoot rapidly. This slows down the whole process for a variety of reasons. - Pull on the bottom of the trigger. Not the middle. Torque. Less finger fatigue. - If you can comfortable do so. Use your middle finger. With the above details. More torque. Less likely to influence the small fingers. Index finger points at target. (this is like the thumb up detail.) It is easy to mock. People who can adapt to it. Do better. These details make is so easy to have amazing control of the trigger that it is very calming. You know how much better you are able to function. You don't feel the need to try to rush. You just flow fast. Using all these together. Will put you far ahead. It makes shooting almost effortless. If you combine these details. With proper practice techniques. It will change your world.
I just simply want to note that It is so great that I am seeing new stuff and nice approaches not the same material every channel have already created. Great!
Well im glad to see this dude deploys his sling like that because thats exactly how i run mine and ive had COUNTLESS Gravy Seals tell me "Your sling is set up wrong." I will now be forwarding them this video. Lol
Its a fine sling setup. It is simply a different method. Many ways to skin a cat but there are of course pros and cons. I ran this sling setup for about a year. This setup doesn't get caught on plate carriers as easily as when the rear sling point attaches to the stock. This is because the sling has less travel across your back as you present the rifle. It also ensures that no material gets in the way of your face (point of contact) and the stock because it is simply attached to the lower receiver, avoiding the stock all together. The cons are that it can be more difficult/complicated to shoulder transition. The shooter may have to manipulate the rifle more to prevent the sling from getting tangled. This can make your anterior delts/shoulders exhaust quicker. This can be exasurbated under night vision as you can hit your goggles depending on how you choose to manipulate the rifle. Its a fine method. I dig it but now run the rear attachment point through my stock as my instructor suggested after months of running it with him.
Just confirming he is pushing forward on the handguard utilizing the sling tension that is caused correct? So I am trying to confirm, that you have to suck up any slack with a proper shoulder shrug to seal any gap that is made by pushing forward on the sling? Am I understanding that correctly? Therefore if there is no sling tension the 1st tip can not be utilized correct? So depending on your tactical situation or sling tension, and possibly having to immediately engage a threat, you may not have the proper sling tension to utilize tip 1? I am not trying to criticize, I am just trying to make sure I am not misunderstanding the step, and trying to figure out if it is only situational dependant, meaning the sling must be tight or you cant push forward? Any clarification would be appreciated.
I'm also wondering that. I also wonder this: if I adjust my sling so it has some tension, but right as I need to draw the rifle, the sling gets tangled on rig/PC or merely leaves the sweet spot (X length). Now I won't have enough sling to properly shoulder the rifle. How can I fix that? Maybe that "sling shrug" right before drawing?
@@NeCtRiCkS Either that "sling shrug" frees it up more or maybe it's the lean forward that he's doing that makes sure the sling isn't getting tangled. I honestly don't know, definitely a rather controversial sling setup but I could totally see it working very well in certain scenarios. 🤷🏻♂️ Thing is you don't really want to lean into the shot that excessively nowadays and that's been proven so I honestly don't know. 😅
I love how you can see, that stock placement is THE thing to train. Shai has terrible stock placement, extrem recoil, Clement has good stock placement, no recoil.
That stock placement depends on lots of factors like the gear ad the build of the user. A guy with big traps can be stable with a high stock placement. Not the case here.
Not necessary to shoot fast if you're shooting a decent caliber. 5.56 requires 4 hits for one stop(according to the U.S. Army). Shoot once with .:08 and move on to the next target. Also have to carry 1/4 the rounds and mags for the same effect.
There is a ukrainian meme "відчувай відчувай" about idiot instructor that actually is a wedding toastmaster making fun contests, not a real trainig. This guy is his spiritual brother for sure..
Does anyone use two fingers (index and middle) consecutively to flick the trigger quickly? As someone who used to speed solve Rubik’s cubes, two fingers are predominantly used (index then middle) to spin the top layer and it’s MUCH faster than using one finger twice. I imagine a flat trigger would be better for this. Just curious, I haven’t had a chance to experiment with this yet…
This is done often with electronic paintball guns. Those guns have extra long triggers to facilitate this. It does not work well with mechanical triggers. Even when you have the longer triggers.
Here's two better tips to teach you to shoot the fastest and then to shoot twice as fast as that: Tip 1: Get an automatic rifle. Tip 2: Get 2 automatic rifles.
French teaching Americans in english how to shoot better, bc French don't have guns. AHAHAH. Just a little fun. Good video. That sling adjustment was cold. I figured that out my self in the past. Good hack.
Never would have thought about that thumb technique. It works because we're all used to "finger guns" and using out thumbs as the sight so having it up will aid us in getting the sights up and aligned
Many people say point at the target with your thumbs with Glock pistols. Going to have to try to see if thumb up grip will improve speed vs overlapping thumbs with a shot timer
Excellent. When executed properly, the commitment to fire will be all that is needed. The motion of the rifle, your vision's commitment to maintaining the point of aim and the recoil event combine to a smooth and continuous cadence of fire until you will it to stop. The rifle is an extension of you.
Not going to lie, this was tough to watch. I don’t think I have ever seen this channel but he kept saying yea, yea, yea and acting like he knew what the guy was talking about when he didn’t at all. That is a huge insecurity and shows he isn’t willing to be a student and just learn. That guy training him seemed top notch and he should have been so happy and thankful to learn from him. Just listen, you don’t know it all, be a student. The greatest operators in the world are students their entire lives.

Good tips, the guys are real professionals.
I feel like I’ve just watched the tactical version of Jacque Pepin demonstrating a perfect French omelette. I’m happy.
Gotta try this tomorrow, this was a great video.
Where did I learn this - a 1st force guy in Iraq and sling mechanics stabilize shooting both strong and support side
Great video explanation 100
Merci beaucoup, Les Monsieurs! 🙏
What an Interesting point about the thumb, I will have to try it.
The proper term is "flag the thumb"

Fascinating! Thank you!

His rifle is very well tuned.
Buffer, grain of bullet, gas port size, and BCG all set on-point! I'm curious about his build! Take care!
What buffer (weight) are you using? Are you pinching in towards the rifle with your vertical thumb. And the front hand is loose? Thanks!
