I bought the STNGR RPTR 13 1/2 inch model. And since it was my first time changing out the handguard and removing the front sight, gas block and gas tube from my Smith & Wesson MP15 - that was a bit more difficult than I thought. But I did it and it's absolutely beautiful! STNGR handguards are so clean, so well made and amplifies the look of my AR-15 and best of all, it's made in the great U.S. of A. I highly recommend it!
Got one after the first time you uploaded this video and I still think it's one of the best handguards for the money! They recently raised their prices and added new packaging, but still a great affordable option.
This is my review on the Stinger Hawk 2019 I bought one and I love it easy to install hasn't moved price was very reasonable when I had any questions their support rep Hayden got right back to me very pleased with the product and Hayden they need to give her a raise
2024 the coyote brown and the green ones are 215 ish and the black anodized is approximately 180… crazy times. I just got my 15 inch black anodized for 145. Crazg how much ever has increased
I just put the 13.5" HWK on my new Aero Precision Build. Extremely tight and durable. Very light weight. Thank you for the review. They have added anti rotation tabs.
I really like mine. I bought a 15" HWK for a build. I liked it so much, I bought another for my next build. I got one of their blemished models for the second build because I was going to cerakote it anyway. Even a better deal than their already low prices.
I have purchased 3 so far. They keep going up in price. Probably due to them catching on. The 15 inch model is about 120 dollars now. They are still worth the money in my opinion. Very light weight and seem to be durable.
8/7/20 just checked website, their most expensive one is 160.00 with barrel nut and tools. They do have cheaper rails as well as blemished rails for even cheaper. I just received my blemished 15” Hawk for 124.00 and I have yet to find the blemish. Stinger is a quality US company with awesome products. There are other companies out there which are more expensive but have less quality.
Hey Sootch!!! Particularly enjoyed this informative and entertaining video. Your review was great. Lots of love to Stngr for offering a USA made quality product at a great price!
You can get the same hand guard on Ebay, less the QD mount for $30. Then just buy a QD mount for $5, and for $35, you have the same set up for $100 less. That's $100 I can use to buy ammo and train with it.
hey wuz up sootch00 saw this review loved it becuase i purchased a stngr hwk for my set up and all i can say is WOW! my rifle looks awesome now. thank you for this video take care TTFN
I've purchased a few of their new ones and a few of their blemishes...I have yet to find a blemish on their blemished handguards. Every one of the QD mount points work as designed and the overall quality is top notch. Blems can be had for under $100 shipped if you manage to locate a 15% off coupon. New ones are around $125 with a coupon. The only one I haven't bought is their VLCN, its a their most expensive one, but offers 8 sides of M-Lok. The barrel nut does not have to be lined up with the gas tube, making for an easier installation. I just wish I could unload my Daniel Defense 7.0 Omega Rails, I have 2 in excellent condition, even the original boxes! Hit me up :D
If you must have a USA-made "cheap" handguard, it seems these are the way to go. You can of course get much cheaper direct from China, and the quality on those tends to be pretty good. It really just depends what you're looking for and what's important to you.
They’re not cheap any more. I should have gotten one back when the vid was posted up the first time. Now the prices are right up there with brands like Midwest Industries and BCM. They do look good though. so I might try one anyway.
Thanks Sootch! I'm in the process of my first AR build. And it is like legos! LOL. I really like this handguard. I'm definitely going to check them out.
Nice concept and Price! Please if you do a video next time could you slowly rotate all sides of the handguards so we can get a full view if all the sides. I like the VYPR the best but usually use Midwest Guards myself and they are pricey. They too have sling swivel slots near each end for single and dual point sling swivels. The Stinger Rail has one defect in design. it has a short Mlok rail section before the swivel attachment in front. It would have been better if they moved that to the rear of the handguard no one uses and left a full M Lok section before the front swivel, hole or used that for another swivel hole at the rear of the hanguard. That way if you have bravo covers they can go to the end of the front of the handguard. If I designed rails, I wouldn't even put a sling swivel hole in the front. I would put an M lok slot to the very front for a rail cover to the edge and put a hole half way in the front M Lok slot for a swivel. This would give you two options. Use the rail cover to the end or have a swivel round hole in the middle M Lok slot or to the front edge of the M Lok slot. I have seen some Picatinny rails with a round hole drilled in between. Why cant they do that with an M Lok slot?
Yeah, the prices are all +$120 now, I'm thinking because of increased popularity. While I like the aesthetics, it's largest appeal was the lower than average price which meant high value. I actually have a couple HWK rails that I'm debating on returning just cause I don't need them anymore, but considering I got them for sub $100 I kinda don't want to offload them
Today I ordered the 10.5" Stngr Rptr to pair with Lantac USC receiver and side charge bcg. Sure beats the Lantac Spada $255 price tag. Hopefully the Rptr anti rotation tabs will fit.
Mexico City as far as handguards go for the most part all you are paying for is the brand name. They are all typically made from the same aluminum alloy. Myself and others I know have never had a problem with PSA but what makes you say they are trash?
Awesome handguard for the money Sootch00. If i was building another AR-15, i would definitely get me one of those Stinger handguards. Another great review Sootch00 and long live the republic bro.
If you go on eBay you can get 15 inch free-floating handguards from 19.99 to 39.99 T6 aluminum Ultra lightweight m-lok design. Also different colors why wouldn't somebody want to go with one of those why are others so expensive? They're made of the same material Etc is there any reason besides just buying name brand?
I just went to their website. I'm thin king more research on your part because they are a LOT more than a buck. You can get Phase 5 Tactical better and less price.
I actually got one of these because of your review. They are a fantastic deal and very easy to install. It's actually much more difficult to remove all of the old A2 gear than to install this.
I am very skeptical about these actually being made in the US. They go through a lot of trouble on their website to show they have been 3rd party verified made in USA. How about instead just posting a video introducing some employees and showing us their factory like every other proud american gun and gun parts manufacturer does? The have a PO box to some strip mall in texas not a factory or company HQ address. I have no problem with outsourcing production or labor. But don't piss on my back and tell me its raining. Like guntec and other budget rail offerings it is highly likely they get rough machined forgings from china and do the last 10% finish machining and apply their finish here in the US.
Hey no bullshit my sister actually works for them building handrails so I can confirm that they’re actually made in Texas, and they’re solid handrails I’ve had mine for 2 years on my Ruger AR 556 and it’s amazing
762x35mm really because I’ve never seen or heard of anyone running they’re sling all the way to the muzzle end of they’re 15” handguard, now on the receiver end? Sure.
I love the channel i grew up around hunting and shooting i would like to no what AR15 upper and lower would be the best for me to get i want to try to keep the build to around 2000$ thanks for all you do!
They're fine if you're on a budget and don't need end of the world reliability/or everything to work right. I've got a 12-inch Stngr VLCN handguard and the top MLOK slots don't work, because the slot is machined/designed too thin, and the nuts can't rotate-- there's not enough space. Otherwise mine's okay, but I don't fully trust it to survive being dropped out of a vehicle onto concrete or any kind of serious long term abuse, which is what I want.
This video is re-uploaded because it showed Installation and was against TH-cam's new Firearm Policy. Check out Full30 for the Installation.
sounds about right...
sootch00 that so rediculous gotta get careful learning to instal those handgaurds might make your rifle full semi automatic
What? I thought that was only for items like suppressors and full auto items? How is a handguard evil?
Do you have a reason for running your light on the inside instead of your thumb side?
Damn commies
I bought the STNGR RPTR 13 1/2 inch model. And since it was my first time changing out the handguard and removing the front sight, gas block and gas tube from my Smith & Wesson MP15 - that was a bit more difficult than I thought. Idk if you’ll see this but im about to do the exact same thing. Any tips for taking the gas block off?
I hope to do mine this weekend! Finally have access to a vise that I can put my m lok on. It'll be my first time as well
I've had the STNGR installed on my M&P Sport 2 for over a year , I love it.
rouge942 will it fit an m&p10 308??
rouge942 what size rail did you get for you’re m&p sport 2 looking to upgrade mine as well
Did you use their gas block?
I’ve just got an m&p sport II as well. I’m thinking about the 13.5in model. Can you use the factory gas block?
I purchased a 15" stngr hwk a few months ago and it was one of the best buys on a real quality handguard that I've ever made. Great company!!
before eBay banned "assault rifle" parts, these same handguards, unbranded, use to go for half the price.
Got one after the first time you uploaded this video and I still think it's one of the best handguards for the money! They recently raised their prices and added new packaging, but still a great affordable option.
One of the most amazing things about youtube is that you can learn how to do ANYTHING. With this new policy however that is out the window.
This is my review on the Stinger Hawk 2019 I bought one and I love it easy to install hasn't moved price was very reasonable when I had any questions their support rep Hayden got right back to me very pleased with the product and Hayden they need to give her a raise
They have raised their prices now. More like $130.00
Thats still a fair price for what you get with them.
Everything going up in price
2024 the coyote brown and the green ones are 215 ish and the black anodized is approximately 180… crazy times. I just got my 15 inch black anodized for 145. Crazg how much ever has increased
I just put the 13.5" HWK on my new Aero Precision Build. Extremely tight and durable. Very light weight. Thank you for the review. They have added anti rotation tabs.
Good morning!! It's been a min. Since your last review on a Black Rifle lol. Good to see as always, Long Live the Republic!!!
I must-ache, does Hulk hogan know you stole his facial hair?
I really like mine. I bought a 15" HWK for a build. I liked it so much, I bought another for my next build. I got one of their blemished models for the second build because I was going to cerakote it anyway. Even a better deal than their already low prices.

At $182 for a 15" rail, can STNGR still be called budget?
$182?
Looked it up today (5/26/2019) and it was $125. Remember to *"Sort By: | Price: Ascending"* when you use their website. ;)
I just bought the 10” HWK fro $110. $182?
8/7/20 just checked website, their most expensive one is 160.00 with barrel nut and tools. They do have cheaper rails as well as blemished rails for even cheaper. I just got the 15" RPTR with barrel nut, tools, and the gas block for $165.
I have one of these rails I put on mine and I love it. It has not moved or gotten too hot or anything
Good video and nice looking rails but im just to old school I like the Quad
Y’all remember when sootch shot the paint off his truck hood?
Hey Sootch!!! Particularly enjoyed this informative and entertaining video. Your review was great. Lots of love to Stngr for offering a USA made quality product at a great price!
Good review. I was already going to buy one for my next build. This review just alleviated any doubts.
Got one when they first came out. Love it. Will buy more.
I purchased one for my 300 Blackout build and they are very nice handguards. They will definitely be getting my business when I build my rifles.
I installed there HWK 15” over an 18” barrel and really like it. Originally had a 15” UTG Pro Slim and the STNGR hand guard is a lot more rigid. 👍🏼
I have a stinger on my AR and I love it it's an awesome free-floating handguard on my 300 Blackout
now comes in nice packaging with foam and logo is now blacked out. I really like it. price is increased but worth it.
I got the 15" hwk on a m&p sport II. Love it. Very well made.
Jason Corbin is it possible to add a vertical grip to it? I’m thinking of getting it for my m&one as well
Yes you can add a vertical grip
@@hector802 did you answer your own question?
I picked one up quite a while back and just recently assembled my gun, but this hand rail is really nice!!
Have these hand guards on ever modern sporting rife I own! They are awesomeness for like $100.
They have a 30% off sale going till monday people. I just picked up the full length 15 inch for 106 shipped grab em quick your welcome.
You can get the same hand guard on Ebay, less the QD mount for $30. Then just buy a QD mount for $5, and for $35, you have the same set up for $100 less. That's $100 I can use to buy ammo and train with it.
They make some really nice Hand guards I have them on both of my spikes tactical A.R. 15‘s
was looking at the 15" D.D. for $440 but bought the 15" raptor and put the difference toward my optics
That handlebar mustache makes you look even more badass
Nice reference to Full30 and a full install video.
Stngr hand guards look just as sexy as F1's at a fraction of the price, gotta love that.
Hey Sootch. Would you mind to tell me what brand muzzle device you are using on the rifle in this video?
hey wuz up sootch00 saw this review loved it becuase i purchased a stngr hwk for my set up and all i can say is WOW! my rifle looks awesome now. thank you for this video take care TTFN

Wish more people would b willing to answer questions here!😔
Yep I got one on my 300. And much better looking and way way lighter then my 556
Will these fit on AR-10. 308 builds or even, say, a CMMG Mutant?
Jason Sims or an m&p 10 308???? I’ll be waiting with for a response with you too bud
My hand guard arrived and is beautiful. This is a great product and buy.
First like!
Congratulations on the channel!
be with courage
be strong
god bless america
long live to republic
That bounce light on the handguard at 0:23
I have several of these handrails. Great products from a great company.
glad I got one when I did…they’ve gone way up in price!
Nice concept and Price! Please if you do a video next time could you slowly rotate all sides of the handguards so we can get a full view if all the sides. I toured Daniel Defense a bit ago. They torque their barrel nuts to a 52lbs. target
Thats good to know.
I love my stngr handgaurd I just wish they had mlok all the way around like Midwest industries and not just 3,6&9
762x35mm mine does have anti rotational tabs, maybe you have an earlier model or something
I really am thinking of buying the hwk! Looks awesome !
Yeah, the prices are all +$120 now, I'm thinking because of increased popularity. While I like the aesthetics, it's largest appeal was the lower than average price which meant high value.

Great review, thank you for sharing. On the qd sling mounts, both forward & rear, do they spin a 360, 180 or like 10 degrees? Thank you...
Thanks for the video, I just ordered my 15" HWK.
Today I ordered the 10.5" Stngr Rptr to pair with Lantac USC receiver and side charge bcg. Sure beats the Lantac Spada $255 price tag. Hopefully the Rptr anti rotation tabs will fit.
Video link for full 30 not working anymore?
Opening music is bad ass
Installed on Ruger AR556 and has noticeable lateral rotation
I've seen videos showing how to assemble this product
Great quality and fit. Love it.
I didn't see anything that was less than $120 their prices seemed pretty comparable to PSA to me.
Mexico City as far as handguards go for the most part all you are paying for is the brand name. They are all typically made from the same aluminum alloy. Myself and others I know have never had a problem with PSA but what makes you say they are trash?
Mexico City good to know, I will look into those companies more from now on.
Well, except for the buffer tower... I mean in the REAL world, not the VIRTUAL world! :)
@Mexico City lmao, u lie
Do these come compatible with the stock sights ? I don’t want to have to remove the sights to get these to fit
These look great; but that hawk model is a straight up copy of the Fortis Night rail... Much cheaper though...
Sootch, Does BCM still make that hat you wore in the beginning? I cant find it anywhere!
Do i have to upgrade my gas block if i purchase one of these hand guards for my Smith and Wesson AR-10 ?
Awesome handguard for the money Sootch00. If i was building another AR-15, i would definitely get me one of those Stinger handguards. Another great review Sootch00 and long live the republic bro.
Just bought one, can't wait to install it!
How did it go ?

I have had one for some time. It is great, better even than Midwest industries.
Negative Ghostrider.
Hey brother will the spikes tactical barking spider clear inside these handguards
Great video! Thank you! I’m buying the 15 inch VYPR!
The tabs on these handguns only work with mil spec uppers, I have found
Those look awesome! Thanks for another great video sir
I just went to their website. I'm thin king more research on your part because they are a LOT more than a buck. You can get Phase 5 Tactical better and less price.
Scootch's stach looks like DEA/ATF Narc quality stache. Jk, great upload, thank you.
YEP prices increased, BTW newbie asks, WHICH barrel nut? S vs: A and WHY ?? Thanks
I actually got one of these because of your review. They are a fantastic deal and very easy to install. It's actually much more difficult to remove all of the old A2 gear than to install this.
keylocks are going away....just not that many anymore. M Lok is the way to go. Nice looking rail though and made in America !!!
I am very skeptical about these actually being made in the US.

I have them on both my spikes tactical AR15‘s They’re tough and very nicely made
I would like to buy one, unfortunately, I'm french and can't buy ITAR items...
I’ll buy one when they remove the forward qd mount and add another mlok slot in its place.
762x35mm really because I’ve never seen or heard of anyone running they’re sling all the way to the muzzle end of they’re 15” handguard, now on the receiver end? Sure.
Just got the hawk 15” for 130 good looking handguard
I love the channel i grew up around hunting and shooting i would like to no what AR15 upper and lower would be the best for me to get i want to try to keep the build to around 2000$ thanks for all you do!
Paul Sr from American chopper is into guns now and got really small
Ar15 sig m400 tread pistol hand guard 10" do they have the upgrade
Good content as always
They're fine if you're on a budget and don't need end of the world reliability/or everything to work right. What are the best aftermarket Glock magazines
Nice fully automatic finger Bro! rocks solid!
Very nice and a Texas company even better
Hi. Which muzzle device are you running on that 9mm?
Do these fit on the M&P sport 2? I'm looking for a good handgaurd. If anyone has any good suggestions, I'm all ears. I'm kinda new to this.
And here I was looking for mlok handguards
Do these ever go on sale? I've never seen them for 100..for any of them..
Quad rails are NOT antiquated.
Made in Texas , cant beat that.
Made in TX? Gotta check them out. Support my state, you know.
Sweet 🍬 mine just came in to day.
🤠 tx
