  • **This was from an outing in January 2020 before lockdown **
An extremely wet day and extremely wet conditions for my first visit to Pitmedden Forest. I loved the red trail called A River Runs Through It - it was brilliant. I will have to try it again when it is drier as I think it would be amazing. Some of the other trails I went down were 50/50, Wormhole but not Hammer and Tongs and Sidewinder...as usual I got a bit lost! Pitmedden is a great place I will be back!

Love your honesty and enjoy your stuff. It's all fine and well watching all the fast guys firing down these trails but we aren't all at that level and they make one feel inadequate when you go try them yourself, have a sub and a thumb from me. 👍

Cheers mate.😁. I appreciate that, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who gets intimidated by certain trails. It is great seeing skilled riders blasting down them too. Some guys have got such amazing skills. As long as we’re enjoying ourselves and progressing bit by bit that’s the main thing.😁🤙🤙🤙. Thanks for the support. Do you ride at Pitmedden?

@@muddymongoosemtb9873 Just relatively local to Dundee as I'm just getting back in to it, motorbikes has been more my thing but bought myself an EMTB couple months back but the weather has been so bad for almost 6 weeks now it's not seen much action recently.

A River Runs Through It is a brilliant wee trail, I try to hit it every time I go to Pitmedden. Another trail joint it near the bottom called All The Jumps, it’s good fun.

MTB DAD Yeah I loved it, unfortunately the day I was there in January the whole place was soaking and I was still recovering from separating my collarbone so couldn’t give it my best. Can’t wait to go back once lockdown is eased. I take it you go there a lot? Where else do you like going mate?🤙😁

Nothing worse than a low confidence day. Especially Stuff you normally sail through. Just end up getting annoyed with yourself haha

Access & Inspection services Ltd definitely mate. Thankfully I’ve got my confidence back and would love to go back and try these trails again in drier conditions. Have you been mtb long?

Muddy Mongoose MTB. Only about 2 years now. Got a bug for it pretty quick. Moved through to Dunfermline way so Blair Adam is kinda local now. I noticed Ud been roaming there. Quite a few good trails you missed up top end. But place was a maze to me until a few guys showed me where to go.

Access & Inspection services Ltd cool. I really like Blairadam but have got lost quite a lot. 😂 As you say I found it to be quite a maze too but have seen quite a few other bits of trails but didn’t have the time to go down them all yet. I can’t wait to go there again once lockdown is lifted to explore more. Is there any other trails that you would recommend me checking out?

Access & Inspection services Ltd cheers for that mate. That’s something for me to investigate once lockdown is over.👌🤙😁
