- At long last I get out again on the bikes with Paterson. I am pushing myself on my new bike to get down steeper more technical trails at Pitmedden. Paterson makes it look easy...how will I get on?

Easy to get lost on the interconnecting trails at Pitmedden. Well ridden on those steep, tight twisty sections the bike handles well over the drop off sections wouldnt go over that big drop off at 12:50 either, great to have Paterson and other riders to learn from whilst out on the trails. Been ages since I went over the bars 🤞and good to hear bike okay. Thanks for sharing Donald! 😁🤙
Cheers Gary, I properly hit the ejector seat button. 🤣🤣🤣 Luckily it was a soft landing. Yeah Paterson is good on his bike, always a good laugh when we are out but I do tend to crash in his company...probably because we're doing harder trails or I'm going faster to try to keep up. Thankfully the bike was unscathed too which was a bonus. 😀🤙🤙🤙
If you don't crash now and then you're not trying hard enough. Great vid Donald, thanks for filming, Andy
Very true Andy, very true. Cheers mate.😁🤙🤙🤙
Good stuff bud, keep pushing! #TeamOrbea
Cheers mate #TeamOrbea 😀🤙🤙🤙
Good effort mate and crash wasn’t too bad. I’ve yet to tackle those black trails at Pitmedden - need to get back and do them while it’s still dry!
Cheers Ross, definitely easier when it's dry for sure. They are great trails definitely worth giving them a go. 😀🤙🤙🤙
riding like a boss down there mate!!! well done.
Cheers mate! It was good conditions that day which helps. These are the kind of trails I like trying to do. I find them very challenging but that's why I like them. It's a great place to ride. 😀🤙🤙🤙
Really enjoying the videos of all these places Donald. Keep up the good work, can see your progression too 👍
Thank you! 😁 Glad you're enjoying them. Do you mtb? 😀🤙🤙🤙
I do. I've just started getting back into it after a couple of years off my bike. Tried Ballo and Pitmedden recently
@Interloper93 cool, great to hear you're getting back into it. Both Ballo and Pitmedden are great places to ride. I've not been to Ballo for ages. I must get back there, so many fun trails.😀🤙🤙🤙
Nice video mate, cool skills 😁🤙🤙
Thanks mate 😀🤙🤙🤙
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 You supported me from the first place so now is my turn to give back support! Cheers mate! 🤘
Nice vid dude! - thats a spicy wee corner on jungle warfare!
Cheers Dave, it's a fun trail. I need to try and loosen up going down stuff like that...I'll get there one day...maybe.🤔🤣🤣🤣
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 you're getting there now dude! - a couple of years back you wouldnt have even considered that trail!
You should ride the Trotsky trail at the hermitage
Good going. My first try of those trails was a bit daunting. I chickened out on doing the Bagpus trail. I did like the other trails and I crashed on wormhole (think it's what is now named TTapeworm)?
Cheers Ricardo, yeah they're not easy thats for sure. Definitely a bit more manageable when they are dry like on this occasion. I need to attempt Bagpuss again, I chickened out of it the last time, I just couldn't turn the corner into the second steep chute. Having seen you on the trails the other week, I bet you could definitely do Bagpuss now. You've definitely got the skills for it. 🤙🤙🤙😀
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 thanks Donald, I'm most definitely going to give them another sometime soon. Yes that turn in to the chute is tricky
