I would just like to know how did you stay motivated and positive, especially in times where you are mentally and physically drained and what did you do to cope with the immense pressures of this course?
I always remembered my "why". Why I started the journey, this kept me going because my "why" was bigger than just me alone.

The CA would have to study another degree, an Actuarial Science degree. The two degrees are not related at all.

Thank you for this video! I have a question though. You spoke about not earning a first-rate salary while doing your articles, does this still apply if there's a certain amount of experience that you have in a financial role? Does experience play a in determining your salary for articles?
Hi dear. Articles salary is the same for everyone in the same firm regardless of experience, varsity or any other differences in candidates. You are all trainees. Those things matter when you are a qualified CA

Thank you for the video, it was so insightful. I have a question about the hours spent doing your job especially as a Trainee, are long hours an everyday thing, or is it on rare occasions?
It's often but not everyday. Each audit client has it's own deadline, some very tight some not. But you just need to go in knowing that you will be required to put in overtime at certain times 😊

Hello, Mrs.Tile, thanks for this video. I'd like to know if accounting firms still provide five-year training contracts. Also, what are your opinions about beginning SAICA articles while pursuing the degree?
Big from dlobkjy do 3 years after your CTA/Honours. Small and medium firms still offer the 5 year option with just matric.

Hey Mrs Tile I would like to ask on the importance of exel skills while doing your articles. Which tools in exel are mostly important to know in order for one to be more efficient in their work?
Excel is important but no need to stress they provide excel training during articles.
How were you able to buy your first property whilst in articles? Please do a video on the process if you don’t mind ☺️

Candidate attorneys or article clerks in the legal field earn R3500 per month. Of all trainees in all fields.... CA article clerks are ahead. Consider yourself lucky lady. By the way lawyers complete 4 years degree, and 2 year articles and board ewams, I think about 5. After admission they still earn around R6000 per month. At most I've seen R15 000. I know a newly qualified CA can earn R650K per annum.
That's hectic hey. But with candidate attorneys there is a wide gap depending on where you doing your articles. My husband did his articles at a Big 4 law firm, he definitely earned way more than your examples and way more than what I earned during my articles. I do agree with the point you driving home, articles money is article money, we just need to endure.

Im in grade 12 and I've applied for bcom acc in varsities and ive been accepted but now I'm not quite sure
I love maths and I've always loved accounting and i do good in both of them but i get level 6 or 7s but with those marks im not sure if I'm going to be able to survive in varsity since it's harder there so like what would be your advice, do you think I'll make it in varsity and continue with accounting
Those are good marks. Shows your hard work. You will definitely do well in varsity! Go there with confidence, not self doubt 😊

AI will disrupt most careers. However, that doesn't mean the career will cease to exist or that it will not have good opportunities. Personally, I wouldn't let such fear deter me. All the best 😊
This just popped up on my youtube & I am glad it did. I am planning on registering with ACCA beginning of next year for i heard it is the most popular in the Europe......but my main question is can i be a CA through ACCA? If not what could be the best alternative?
People registered with ACCA are CAs, similar to people registered with SAICA. You just choose the registration body you prefer, most of the time the decision is driven by where you stay and plan to work
